So help with pp please
I pointed a can of carling from the details on the back of the can and it said 1pp per can and 4pp for 3 cans... But when looked up on esource they say its 3pp per can? anybody know why? and which one would you put down?

NoWayNoHow · 29/03/2011 11:41

Hey clb - it's definitely 3pp per can (much like 3pp for a glass of wine). When you pointed it from the back, did you definitely point 330ml of lager, or did you use the "per 100ml" values to get 1pp?

LittleFriendSusan · 29/03/2011 12:21

CLB1 - seem to think normal rules do not apply for PP in alcohol, so you can't actually work out from the NV...

Loopy I think some of the PP values on the tracker have been added by members? It annoys me when I can only choose 1 size & not enter a different weight... Re tuna - the small tins of flavoured tuna from Aldi (tomato & onion / lemon) work out at 2PP per tin if that's any help?

NWNH well done on your 1 1/4lb loss!!

BTM - well done for STS and not putting on!!

Back to my usual pitta, salad & houmous for lunch today. Was going to do yummy looking chicken & quinoa salad from the April Good Food mag, but CBA last night and just went to bed! I am absoutely ravenous at the moment, almost TOTM and I just want to eat... had an apple half an hour ago and will take lunch break at half past... Some kind soul has put their birthday cake on my desk and it just keeps calling to me. Not listening though [fingers in ears]

CLB1 · 29/03/2011 12:28

Noway definately put 330ml as I checked as so little pp.
Susan :( darn, I pointed a wine and it was 1pp too. It's starting to get all confusing with the alcohol. I'll point by esource this weekend then discuss with leader on sunday see what she says, as very misleading if you dont have esource so you just point from info in can or bottle.

LittleFriendSusan · 29/03/2011 12:44

CLB1 - dry white / red wine 18PP a bottle.
3PP / 125ml
4PP / 175ml
5PP / 200ml
6PP / 250ml

Can you tell I like wine Grin

loubloutwinmum · 29/03/2011 13:43

A quick message from me - just had to say NoWay you look fab - well done! what a difference & glad you finally have some medicine - get well!

I went to a gig at the 02 last night but before we went to Chiquitos for dinner - I had the classic chicken fajitas as a bit of a treat & the portion was pretty generous - only had 3 out of the 5 as husband hoovered up the rest! I don't have the eating out guide but found some messages about Chiquito's on WW message boards. Someone on their pointed classic fajitas as 24 pp! Does that sound about right girls? Have put it down as 24 anyway - was absolutely gorgeous by the way. Washed down with a few wiskey & diet cokes! Had a great night and danced solidly for over an hour so that would have helped a bit.

Well done on all the losses - this thread is so successful, it is amazing. I am in need of new clothes badly, even my size 14 jeans are baggy now but I am still a few pounds away from a 12. Getting there though. Also I'm throwing a dinner party Saturday night so any suggestions for a low fat menu would be hugely appreciated!

hmc · 29/03/2011 14:16

Well done Littlefriend and NoWay on your losses and BigTilly on sts. Glad you've got your drugs now NoWay

CLB1 - wots up with dh, hope he isn't too ill? ...oh nearly forgot, you can't propoint any alcohol from the nutritional information on the label. Generic lager is 3pp for 330ml (from WW pocket guide)

Mrs - Shred (bleurggh) - it is 20 minutes of exercise graded at 'intense', so if you are 14 stone you will use 5pp, this declines to 4pp at a weight of 13st7, and declines to 3pp at a weight of 10 stone7 (from chart on page 62 of the WW pocket guide).

Loopyla tuna - a small can of 70g in brine or springwater is apparently 2pp, but if in oil is 3pp (page 30 of WW pocket guide)

Must get back to hospital care for the poor in the Early Modern Period (zzz)

Blondeshavemorefun · 29/03/2011 14:37

CLB1 · 29/03/2011 16:52

Susan Grin no not at all Wink, thanks for that I'll be properly drinking since I had my DS this weekend so need to point properly as dont want to STS again this week.
Sue Well Done on STS, esp with gain earlier in the week
hmc He's just got a really bad cold, thats all. I'm keeping him dosed up with lemsips. Thanks for the larger pp, that'll help Grin
Thanks Blondes I might try that Becks Blue then
Benbon after what you ate last week well done on STS. We can have a good week this week and me, you and Blondes will have a good loss this week

So I've been productive today and cleaned the house top to bottom and washed both sets of bed sheets. That should have earned me some activity pp :)

LittleFriendSusan · 29/03/2011 17:02

blondes just for you, sweet white wine:

125ml = 4PP
175ml = 6PP
200ml = 7PP
250ml = 8PP
bottle = 25PP

Just checked on tracker and a bottle of red wine actually comes up at 19PP.

Blondeshavemorefun · 29/03/2011 18:09

thanks :)

Piffle · 29/03/2011 19:18

Well tomorrow is dog weighing day therefore I get a midweek weigh...
I'm fairly confident as my jeans are much looser and jackets are less tight
Someone today asked if I'd lost weight too
All good
Tonight WW ginger sesame spiced cod and sesame soy salad
Looks nice but have to wait for DH to get home at 7:30!
Then our evening 2.5 mile stroll afterwards...

NoWayNoHow · 29/03/2011 19:34

blondes what's PRODS?? Blush

Can't believe that they got the dates wrong - how hard is it to get some information right/be consistent???

benbon sorry you sts, but at least you know where you went wrong and therefore know how to improve this week.

I walked for about 3 hrs today (some moochy shopping-type walking, some chasing-DS-on-scooter-type power walking) so I'm fairly confident I've earned some activity points for the first time in ages. Not going to count them, though. Also somehow seem to have 5 dailies left (after tracking what I'm going to be eating for dinner) so I see a Bacardi and Diet Coke in my immediate future! Hoo-bloody-ray!

Blondeshavemorefun · 29/03/2011 19:35

piffle happy Woofa weighing - always good if clothes feel looser

Just groin from work. Dh has run Me a bath and cooking chicken,new pots and salad

Tbl 9pm :)

Not had chance to catch up on thread..am off to put DS to bed, will pop back later

NoWayNoHow · 29/03/2011 20:09

Congrats wizzler on your 2nd silver 7! Great news!

Littlefish · 29/03/2011 20:31

Astonishgly, I have managed to only put on half a pound after my weekend in London. I'm really pleased with this as it shows that I can have a great time, and still be mostly in control of my eating and drinking.

Wizzler - congratulations on your stone loss. Great work!

Blondes - "just groin from work"!!!!!!! - what is it you do????? Smile

NWNH - fantastic photos. You look really great.
