Hey y'all

This is a first for me today. I had a salad with new pots & tuna (the salad isn't new, I have one daily) BUT was stuffed afterwards and didn't even want my afternoon snacks (WW fromage frais & babybel light). Couldn't believe it! Of course I'm starving now but won't get home for another hour so will have to fool my stomach by filling it up with water, lol!!! Hmm

wizzler · 28/03/2011 18:43

Hurrah, DH hasd eaten all the butterfly buns. Normally that would lead to WW111 but am v happy about it today.
Noway, I can't believe you are still feeling so ill... make sure the dr sorts you out.
Sparkle, I know I am a very shallow person, but I read your post and thougth " wouldn't mind getting d&v if I lost 6lbs"...
Glad you had a good hols froot.
Debs, sorry to hear your weekend away wasnt as great as you would have wished, but hurrah for you biting your lip.. it would be a shame to blow 35years of friendship just because your friend was senseless drunk.

Blondeshavemorefun · 28/03/2011 18:45

loopy how many pp was your lunch? sounds yummy/salad/pots and tuna

OP posts:
NoWayNoHow · 28/03/2011 18:59

Loopy that must feel good - I've had munchies all day, but haven't succumbed!

Right, I've put the pics up and made my profile public (I think) - can anyone tell me if it's working??

NoWayNoHow · 28/03/2011 19:01

PS There's only about 2st difference between "Before" and "After", so it's not the biggest achievement ever, IYKWIM, but I'm just so much happier in my skin.

Was just thinking today whilst I sat at the bank that I was wasn't sitting with my bag/coat on my lap to hide my stomach any more. That was a good moment!

Blondeshavemorefun · 28/03/2011 19:09

immortalbeloved · 28/03/2011 20:13

Hello again, sorry I havnt been on for a couple of days

Everyone seems to be doing really well Smile I've tried to catch up a bit with the thread but I'm sorry not to reply to everyone individually, I swear my brain has melted since I had the new baby! Plus I'm trying to post in the (very small) gap between his feeds

Well my first week is done and dusted and I've actually really enjoyed it, I have been under my points every day except for saturday when I lost track and snaffled down various chocolate and cakey things in a sleep deprved haze Blush

So weigh in day and I've lost 4.5lbs Smile I am really really pleased because I feel like I've eaten loads and havnt felt deprived at all, so much so that I was sure I wasn't going to lose at all. Onto week two now!

NoWayNoHow · 28/03/2011 20:28

Congrats immortal that's really well done! Glad you enjoyed your first week!

Blondeshavemorefun · 28/03/2011 20:42

Well done immortal do try and eat Yr daily PP

Had a yummy beef and potato meal with carrots/green beans and courgette for 8pp

OP posts:
NoWayNoHow · 28/03/2011 21:00

Oh, btw, another veggie recipe to try.

Absolutely delicious, I had 2 portions for 7PP and I'm stuffed (much like the peppers).

DS being a toe rag again - I swear he's like a shark, smells blood and fear and illness in the water and strikes...

hmc · 28/03/2011 21:10

Some great losses - well done mrs, sparkle, loublout and immortal, and sorry you had to spend a lot of time chucking up to get yours sparkle, glad you are all better now

You're looking great in those after photos noway - incidentally, get thee to the doctor. My friend has a very very bad bout of sinusitis - every sound was amplified unbearably which is not good in a house with 3 kids and it brought her to tears a few times (and she is generally very stoic). The doc gave her anti-b's

Welcome back froot - sounds like you had a great time skiing and munching! - the 6lb gained though with be off very quickly, am sure.

Hope your dd is feeling a bit more chipper after losing favourite teddy Androbbob?

and jojo - good luck with Davina Fit (much better than that miserable Shred dvd imo Wink)

Well, like everyone else I pigged out over the weekend regularly hitting 40+ pp, so I have 3 days (including today) of austerity to see if I can pull it back by Wednesday evening WI. My good pal Nadhia Sawahla and I had a 'High NRG fat burn' session this morning (30 mins), followed by a 15 minute 'all over body tone'. It'll be over to my other buddy Davina tomorrow for 'cardio buff'

Oh, and I weigh 2lb heavier in the evening compared to the morning (if we are still discussing that)

                                              x
LittleFriendSusan · 28/03/2011 21:52

immortal well done, fab loss!

NWNH - you are looking fantastic! Think might try those stuffed peppers, they look very tasty!

debs - well done for not totally losing it with your friend... as NWMH said there's no reasoning with drunk people. Still a pisser though...

hmc - sure you'll be fine by WI.

Well... I lost 1lb. Bit disappointed that I went so badly off track at the weekend as no doubt would have been more, but still, better off than on and all that. Just had mackerel & harissa couscous which was lush but 20PP!!! 34 PP today and have earnt about 4-5 activity points I think so not really all that bad! 35-40 minute walk each way to WI and that's walking fairly fast...

NoWayNoHow · 28/03/2011 22:13

littlefriendsusan, well done on the lb loss! Do'nt worry about weekend - it's done and dusted and you still had a loss, so that's really good. It's a new week after all!

hmc, funny you should say that, I was just Skyping with my mate who's a dr and she said it sounded like sinusitis too... Also have the horrible sensitivity to noise, which doesn't help when DS's idea of heaven is recreating giant car wrecks with his cars. If I had a £ for every time he'd crashed his ambulance into the vehicles it was supposed to be rescuing, I'd be a rich woman. Deaf, but rich. Definitely calling first thing tomorrow for an emergency appt with the Doc.

Have finished the day with 4PP remaining - not really hungry, so thinking about having a Horlicks Light for 3PP to (a) get me almost to my 29, and (b) make myself feel better.

Blondeshavemorefun · 28/03/2011 22:18

Susan well done on lb loss

OP posts:
CLB1 · 29/03/2011 07:15

So my DS decided that 5:20 was an acceptable time to get up this morning. I hate getting up in the dark :( Although he did go to bed at 21:00 and slept through and he's only 10 weeks so thats a bonus I suppose.
Can't decide what I'd prefer a get up in the night and a lyin or a sleep through and an early morning??

Susan You should be proud of the 1lb as you say its in the right direction :)
Noway Hope the Dr's will prescribe something to help :)
Blondes How's the sexathon going? I'll have to live vicariously through you, as DH is too ill to do anything for a while :( (Starts chanting... We will not STS this week, we will not STS this week!!!!!)
hmc Good luck with Davina today, hope she helps with the WI :)
Immortal Congrats, well done. Glad your finding it all right, positive vibes for a good loss this week too :)

so DS finally asleep but DH up and coughing constantly, no going back to bed for me. suppose I should make the most of my morning brekkie then some washing me thinks

Blondeshavemorefun · 29/03/2011 07:30

clb have killed dh, got last shag last night and said no this am Shock men he, no stamina Wink

fab babs is practically sleeping through, personally i prefer a dream feed at 10/11 and then get woken up 7am if im night nannying

killed me getting up today, 1st day back after 5 days off and 7am really was 6am to my poor sleep deprived body

OP posts:
LoopyLa · 29/03/2011 07:50

Hmm, sometimes this WW tracker pees me off!

Just answering your question blondes re: points in my lunch so I thought 7PP - 5 for new pots, 1 for extra low Mayo, 0 for salad things & 1 for tuna. But then as I was checking my tracker I noticed there was 2 different pp value for a can of tuna; 1 or 3?!! Which is it?!!

Angry

God no wonder some of us sts (esp you Blondes) if the stupid tracker gives all variations of PP!!!

Confused
NoWayNoHow · 29/03/2011 07:56

Morning all!

Checking in with WI results - 1.25lbs off for me (love that my scale has quarter lbs - that would have been a 1lb at WW class!).

For all you stats folk:
Used 44 weeklies, and earned zero exercise points beingthe miserable sicko that I am.
Fine with a lb, wasn't expecting any more.

Off to take DS to nursery, will catch up with thread later

Smile
bigTillyMint · 29/03/2011 08:39

STS again - not surprising after everything I ate and drank all weekendBlush

It seems very difficult to even lose a couple of pounds off my goal weight. I AM going to track properly this week!

Noway you look fantasticGrin Well Done!

NoWayNoHow · 29/03/2011 08:49

BTN, hey, at least it wasn't a gain, especially if, like you say, you had a big weekend. Here's to a new Tuesday start!

mrskbpw · 29/03/2011 09:26

Oh. My. God. I did my new Shred DVD last night. OUCH! It's so hard. My husband, who is uber-fit and training for the marathon, also did it and he found it hard, too. Is it really only 2 activity points?

Am in a daze today as 14-month-old son decided to wake up at 3.20am, he settled ok but I couldn't get back to sleep, then he woke up again at 4am and that was it. Eventually at about 5am I took him downstairs, he had a bottle and waddled around the living room for a while until he climbed on to my knee and I thought "ah ha! he's going to go back to sleep". I raced upstairs, put him in bed with us, and closed my eyes. It was 5.45am and the alarm goes off at 6am. YAWN!

BTN well done on sts. And Noway - hope the doc sorts you out.

JoJoBaldwin · 29/03/2011 10:03

NoWay you look amazing! You don't look like you need to lose any more at all!

Had good eating day yesterday:

Brekkie: mushroom omelette with ketchup (6pp)
picnic lunch: salad with prawns in reduced fat seafood dressing (4pp)
grapes, apple (0)
mini milk icecream (1pp)
Tea: Innocent Thai curry (6pp)
Dinner: veg and quorn steak strips stir fry with noodles (10pp)
options hot choc (2pp)

Today's brekkie is an oatso simple sachet shared with my DD (3pp) and a banana.

Picnic lunch again, bit of left-over stir-fry and a salad with a tiny amount of tuna mayo and coleslaw. Grapes for snack again.

Me and a friend are taking kids on the train out of town today for a walk in the woods. Good activity again on top of park and beach yesterday.

NoWayNoHow · 29/03/2011 10:19

BigTillyMint, sorry, meant BTM. Typos Blush

mrs, I don't do Shred, but I DO do Davina, and her 25min workout comes up as 3 activity PP. I'm sure Shread is as hard if not more difficult, so should be the same activity level? How long is the workout?

JoJo, that's very sweet thanks. I want to lose about 3 more lbs and then probably switch to maintenance. I'm short, but have quite wide hips and broad shoulders (as well as a ribcage that would put any swimmer to shame), so I don't want to lose much more as I know from experience that I start to look a little weird Grin. I definitely have a frame that suits boobs and junk in the trunk!

Dr has diagnosed sinusitis (and the prize for correct answer goes to hmc!!), and prescribed antibiotics and a steroid nasal spray, so hopefully the feeling of explodinghead will soon subside.

Just had a WW rich toffee bar for the first time. I'm in heaven.

LoopyLa · 29/03/2011 10:55

NWNH - I think you look hot :)

You can really tell you've lost weight and you're looking really good - well done you!
