Welcome one and all to our 4th thread

If you're just starting out or you've been following WW for a while and you're looking for support you've come to the right place! :)

There are lots of regulars who are well on their weigh (get it! ) and others who have just joined us - we're a mixed bag,Grin all shapes and sizes and all with different goals to achieve but we're all striving for the same thing. We're all here to will one another on with advice, support and lots of cheering!

Androbbob is our resident stat checker and keeps us motivated by totting up the total weight loss each week. !

We're quite fast moving at times so just dive in - pour yourself a Wine or Brew and make yourself at home :)

sweetheart sorry you sts, it sucks when you have been good and within your pp - hope for a big loss next week, and wondered if that pesky AF was staying as that does sometimes make a difference

export welcome, im not a mumy either, good luck with ww and wine is dreadful on ww,a glass is think 4pp for small one,and none of us have a small one lol

dh van has gone to van heaven :( which is a double wammy as no van, cant work, so seriously trawling autotrader etc for a van

its wi for me tomorrow and as been out for a curry/vd and zizi last night with girls,im not expecting to lose, but im pretty sure im just within my pp as been drinking 0 pp soup the two days i ate out so hoping to sts, will be pissed off if gain again :(

Morning all, still feeling pissed off if I'm honest and not looking forward to the limitations of the week ahead to try and get a good loss next week Sad I think I need to be very careful about what I spend my points on this week and I probably need to try and alter my diet so it contains a lot more protein and less in the way of carbs.

It's a big birthday for me in a few weeks time and I have lots of lovely things planned one of which is a big party which I wanted to wear a really nice dress for. The fact that the weight isn't coming off as quickly as I'd hoped means I'm having to delay the dress shopping until the very last min. I also know that with the festivities planned I will be piling on the Ibs I have lost which is a bit frustrating. I am thinking of resporting to desperate measures such as juicing for a week - I've done it before and it was without a doubt the most miserable week of my life but I did lose 8Ibs.

Sorry to not name check everyone this morning but I am wollowing in self pity Sad

Hi, sorry for major lack of posts, having such a crap run of stuff at the moment. DH been ill, then other DD had the most awful sick bug and I have TOTM to deal with which is absolute killer this month.

Have tried to catch up on everyone's news but this thread is moving fast and my brain is not. Did read some great losses - well done all. Sorry you are feeling bit crap sweetheart - I am sure you will have a good loss next WI and you will find a gorgeous dress and knock everyone's socks off with your gorgeousness!!!

HHY well done on starting the Shred - I had a day off yesterday as in so much pain from period and lack of sleep due to sickly DD but will be doing it today again. Am on day 9 of level 1 and probably should move up a level but quite like the fact that it is getting easier!!!

DH away with work so feeling a bit Sad as life is just such a slog at the moment and no holiday booked and all looks bit bleak!! Admittedly, TOTM is not helping my outlook!

Can someone please assure me hat creme eggs are only 2 pp - I really can't believe that! If they are I am buying lots of them!!!!

Also meant to say I don't have a TOTM as I have PCOS and have a contraceptive injection every 3 months which also stops it.

Hi all,

I lost 1lb this week so i'm still under goal weight. Gave my leader with success story complete with pics and she passed it around the group so everyone could see [embarrassed]

sweetheart with regards to dress shopping, at christmas i had a big function to go to with DH and had a dress in the wardrobr i wanted to get back into, it was slinky material too so would show up every indiscretion. I was about 7lbs heavier than i wanted to be so went and got some magic underwear. I actually got a "miraclesuit waist cincher" and it was fab. Gave me a waist i have never ever had and made me look at least a dress size smaller so maybe think about one of those before you go shopping and it could mean you could get the dress you wanted afterall. no one but you needs to know your secret Wink

vnmum - thanks but I just cannot stand that control underwear! It's bloody uncomfortable and I find it just pushes fat out elsewhere. I really can't be doing with spending half of my party in the toilet trying to tug and push my body into some highly elasticated pants!

I've done ww before but this new plan is so different. Love how fruit is now free and love even more the new weekly points. That's like two bottles of wine Grin.

Well I have done it - bought the Shred DVD! Got it for a fiver on Amazon and will have it by tomorrow. Will start on Saturday - will report back!

Had a lazy exercise week so far but going to the gym tonight for a half cardio and half weights workout - trying to shake it up a bit!

Been okay foodwise for yesterday and today - roll on the weekend!

HHY, is Shred reall ok? Am considering getting it, but fear it may just sit in the corner glaring at me and making me feel guilty for not doing it.. I am not super fit, (play a bit of tennis, swim 30 lengths once in a blue moon).. would I be able to manage it ?

Welcome Export, could you indulge yourself with vodka / slimiline tonics etc.. I think they are less pps ( there are some guzzlers on here who will be able to tell you).. you know who you are!!!!

Export I cannot buy wine now for that reason, if I do it's one of those small one person ones otherwise if it's there, I'll just have it!

5inabed I too have loads of weight to lose, we're a bit of a mixed bunch some with lots and some with a bit to go, I'm liking the way you look at the 49 weeklies!

sweetheart what a pain you sts. I know I could say that that's better than gaining but it's little comfort when you have stayed in your points.

I heard it said that your body doesn't know when your wi day is (which is true) but the loss WILL show, just unfortunately it didn't when you needed it to.

Take heart from lee Fab loss! See, it all catches up in the end! 4lb is just amazing Grin

androb yaaaay! Well done! We can be in agony get super fit together!

wizzler that's exactly what put me off doing it. Really thought I might have to be carted off by emergency services if I tried Shred. But it's honestly not THAT bad! It is hard, but very short intervals of exercise - 2mins then onto something else, so almost bearable Grin And the whole thing is only 20mins which is great. A short, sharp burst rather than hours of misery! There are two levels for each of the exercises too so you can choose how hard you want to make it. Go for it!

Is that everyone? Phew - that was harder work than the shred! Grin Grin

Better get back to doing what I'm supposed to be doing - Sage . Speak later!

I started ww 3 weeks ago and I've lost 12 lbs so far!
I have got a lot to lose though!
Does any1 else work nights that can give me some tips?
Or that uses the app mine has given me too many points!

vnmum I am so Envy - I have been half a pound under goal for 3 weeks, but would have liked to lose a couple of pounds before we go on hol as I know I will put on while we are away. But nothing is happening - very frustrating - despite being sensible and tracking.

Can I (re)join too please? Started 2 weeks ago, I did originally start PP in Dec but broke my toe and couldn't walk the 20 mins to the meeting from my office. So starting again, lost 4lbs so far and am happy.

I've been using the iPhone App as my tracker and it's really great, makes it so easy.

Noticed there are a few newbies on here today so a big hello to all of you!

I've been going over all my tracking info and trying to get to grips with whats gone wrong. The first 3 weeks I lost 7.5Ibs but the last 3 weeks I've only lost 1.5Ibs. I have noticed that the 1st 3 weeks I wasn't really exercising. The 1st week I was on crutches, 2nd week did a bit of gentle walking and week 3 I managed to get on a bike.

week 4 I went to teh gym and got a new programme which meant I could do weights without effecting my leg and it's from week 4 onwards that my weight loss has dropped right off. I lost cm's in the first 4 weeks too - I think a total of about 13cm.

Perhaps I ought to drop the weight training for a week and see what happens but then I'm worried if I don't loose next week I will have lost a week of toning too!

Confused what to do ladies?

Oh I'll probably just have the odd one bottle a week. Like the fact you have weekly points though as some days I feel I need more.

Hi Ladies, can I join you? I joined WW online last Thursday and have lost 2lbs this week! Really pleased with the pro points plan. Did WW classes a few years ago and lost 1.5 stone, so here's hoping it goes well this time too.

I have a wedding in September and would love to be a size 12, but also hoping that losing weight will help me on my way to conceiving baby no2! No pressure then!

sweetheart exercise could have something to do with it - muscle weighs more then fat - and you are losing inches so go and try on some clothes that you didn't fit into before and see how they are

I'm off to body combat - gonna kick arse for tomorrow

Back on WW for the second time - lost a stone in 4 weeks and kept 10lbs of it off since November. I have another 10-14lbs to lose now, although I'm at the top of the ww healthy weight range. On 29 points, day one and I'm too hungry to exercise, need all my points for dinner Sad, I know it will take my body a few days to adjust to the smaller portions. I want to start shredding again, it helped last time.
