abgirl · 01/03/2011 08:27

lucky gorgeous photo, you look lovely

sparkle well done on weight loss

froot good luck with getting that weight off next week...

Well have sts which considering the week I had in half term is an amazing result - obviously did a bit more exercise than I thought and was running round with DSs all week rather than sitting at my desk dreaming about foodGrin. Have done Davina DVD this morning so a good start to the week.

Happy St Davids everyone!

hmc · 01/03/2011 09:33

I want to look like lucky Envy Wink - it is good to hear that you get 36 pp on maintenance, oh boy think what you can do with those! Biscuit Wine ++

Well done Sparkle and loubloutwinmum on your great losses this week, and well done to Bamboobutton on STS (there is no shame in that!) Commiserations on your little gain Froot - I had one last week, bummer eh? Re your question on 2 mins off and 2 mins on interval training, tbh I don't know if that's less or more effective than 1 minute on and 1 minute off. I am very interested in doing some research and finding out - but that will have to wait until after my essay deadline which is next Tuesday. Atm I am limiting my internet time to this thread on Mn....(or that is the plan!)

BigTilly - it killed me too, am not keen to repeat the experience in a hurry! - might do it again next weekend when I feel full of beans after a lie in. It takes about 6-7 seconds for my treadmill to switch between speeds...

noway - I agree with androbbob's reasoning - but your call!

chicaquapa - I've lost 28lbs in 15 weeks so that is 1.86 lbs per week...I eat all dailies and weeklies, exercise a lot and try not to eat the exercise points. Yep - you must count the skimmed milk and the spread.

Ok - that's my catch up, back to 16th century anatomist Vesalius (is their a yawn emoticon?)

hmc · 01/03/2011 09:34

abgirl - glad you managed to sts after the trials of half term!

Littlefish · 01/03/2011 09:43

Lucky - you are an absolute inspiration. Congratulations on your wonderful achievement.

Shoves Androbbob with a sharp stick!

Well done to everyone for their losses or STS, particularly over half term when many of us have been out of usual routines.

I'm weighing in tonight, but not holding out much hope.

Did anyone else watch the final of "Biggest Loser" last night?

I was torn between feeling Envy for their enormous weight losses, and also quite thankful that I'm doing mine very slowly. They must have some loose skin to deal with having lost up to 8 stone in 16 weeks. The ladies in particular looked very trussed up under their clothes, with control knickers, bras and all-in-ones to smooth out lumps and bumps. (Even though they all looked fantastic!)

sparkle101 · 01/03/2011 11:13

Good morning ladies,

Lucky - you look amazing and I second that I want your kitchen!

bamboo am sure you will lose next week, hope you are feeling okay now.

abgirl hope you're back on it now, well done for staying the same, funnily enough the meeting this week was all about spanners in the works of which about 15 mins was dedicated to half term and people finding it hard.

Kicks andro 's bum - it will happen, have you mixed up your food a bit?

blondes was pizza nice? Keep looking at them but not taken the plunge yet! and good luck to you and froot at getting it off Grin

Hmc enjoy (if that is the right word) vesalius Confused

Well done all you ladies doing lots of exercise, you put me to shame, but I have been and bought 'davina's' weights from argos so will be shredding this afternoon, weather is so pants so no walking this week. Tell me I will be able to breathe at the end!

DD was weighed today and weighs 16lb now, so if any of you want me to post her to you so you can see what it's like carrying her around I will do that, please drop her back when she is 18. Many thanks!

St Davids just wanted to use it!!!

NormaSknockers · 01/03/2011 12:19

Just popping by to say hello, glad to see everyone is doing well :)

bigTillyMint · 01/03/2011 13:32

Norma! where've you been? Are you still WWing?

Blondeshavemorefun · 01/03/2011 13:40

abgirl well done for sts

hmc oh yes having another 7pp a day or 49extra extra weekies Grin

so surely ww are saying if you eat 50 less pp a week you will lose weight?

littlefish oh yes, been avidly watching - was tapping away on loser thread

sparkle the leggy pizzas are really nice, dont taste half fat and nice to have bit of salad in them

norma helllllllllllllllllllllllllllllo - how are you ? :)

OP posts:
NormaSknockers · 01/03/2011 14:04

I'm ok, not great but ok.

I'm still WWing yes, still a clerk at my meetings too. My leader's affected I become a leader but not sure about it.

Not sure where my loss was up to when I last checked in with you all but I reached another stone off & I'm well on my way to goal now.

Hope you're all doing well, will check in from time to time :)

NoWayNoHow · 01/03/2011 14:16

Norma hope you get become better than ok soon!

andro, hmc and blondes, I'm sort of taking all your advice - have amended my WW membership from monthly pass to eSource only, but because the money for my monthly pass has only just come out my account, I will still get till the 10th April to go to meetings. So that gives me 6 weeks to lose about half a stone (am guessing weight at mo as neighbour has my scales and haven't been to WI!).

Mum did say to me today, "Have you lost more weight?" I told her I thought she had, she said, "You look... well... smaller."

Her powers over the spoken word do her credit! Grin

Blondeshavemorefun · 01/03/2011 14:20

norma sorry to hear things arnt great :( but hopefully will improve

well done for losing more weight - you put us to shame Blush

and fab that you have been promoted to leadre - why dont you like it?

noway see how it goes and if need then you can renew registration

JoJoBaldwin · 01/03/2011 15:52

Brilliant news Lucky, well done!

Bad luck froot, once more into the breach etc...

Found new meeting today so had first weigh-in in 2 weeks. 2lb off which is ok but not sensational. Feeling and looking better tho, and it meant I hit my 5% so feeling spurred on. 8 and a half pounds off in 4 weeks so fairly respectable.

Got some size 14 jeans out of the wardrobe where they have been languishing for a couple of years, and ta-da! They fit. Hurray! So have some new clothes without having to go out and buy any. Grin

bigTillyMint · 01/03/2011 16:21

NOrma great to hear you are still losing, but not so great that you're not great. Keep us updated!

CRbear · 01/03/2011 17:56

Hi all,

Remediation hurts. I did a tai bo class, 20 minutes cross training and a 20 min run yesterday. Today I did a speed step class and tomorrow I'll run... Need a big loss on thurs and I'll be so disappointed in myself and my cake binge if I don't

wizzler · 01/03/2011 19:52

Evening everyone. I lost 0.5lbs. Am trying to be upbeat, but I have tried really hard this week with exercise. Must have been the Creme Brulee Blush

Norma, its great to hear from you, but sad to hear things are not great. Hope whatever it is gets sorted soon. Anyway have a St Davids for losing another stone.!

JoJo.. 2lb a week is a brilliant achievment, and a silver seven, so celebrate a little!

LuckyLight · 01/03/2011 20:22

Thanks guys! Couldn't have done it without you Grin.

Littlefish · 01/03/2011 21:14

Like wizzler, I've lost 0.5lbs this week.

That makes 2 stone 8.5 lbs altogether. Another 5.5 lbs to go to get to 3 stone. I'm determined to lose it by Easter.

divinedestiny · 01/03/2011 21:31

Hi everyone,

Could I join ur thread please? I have been reading all your messages and the support that u give each other is amazing.

I used to do old WW plan last year but had to stop due to financial problems, then went away and didn't continue. In 2 months of doing WW I lost 2st which i was really pleased with.

5 weeks ago I started doing Slimming world (thought i'd try something different), and in 5 weeks I have lost......... 1 lb, yep 1 lb. I stuck to it rigidly for 5 wks and that was the result. So I have come back to WW and the new PP plan. I went to my first meeting today and I have a lot to lose. Will be starting the plan properly tmrw and look forward to losing loads of weight.

wizzler · 01/03/2011 21:55

Welcome Divine, hope the new WW Propoints works for you as well as the old one did.

Well done Littlefish. Lets hope we both have huge losses next week ( though confess I may be slightly hampered by the 2 mini milky way I have just woofed.. tuesday night is treat night after WI!!)
