I've just done Level 1 for the first time and feel OK. I'll see how it goes but suspect I'll want to move to Level 2 reasonably quickly.

Good tip about the 5 minute run, I'm going to go on the exercise bike in a sec.

I find the strength hardest and cannot for the life of me get the co-ordination required for a bicycle crunch. Confused

Another level 1 now - am definately ready for level 2 now as I can actually do it all without having to stop or dying partway through.

Its much harder with the weights though as opposed to the cans of chickpeas I was using at the beginning.

D-Day is tonight when I get home from work.

Have managed to rope in DH as he has a beer belly love handles to get rid of. God knows we'll be a fright doing this together.

Wonder what ds will make of us :o

right i've done day 1 - with DS 4 joining in the jumping jacks - don't think he would have had the pelvic floor problems i had though...
i'm a sucker for doing things once or twice adn giving up so if i don't say i've done it again can someone come on and ask me please.
quite enjoyed it though - despite being 4 1/2 stone overweight!

did day two yesterday, aching arse and arms today! Am going to skip today as i have a netball match tonight and cant afford my arms to seize up.
My little bro came over yest (age 20) and was taking the piss out of my beloved jillian dvd, so accepted my challenge to do level 2. This way i got to check it out, and laugh evilly at bro. It looks hardcore! 8loody hell. Not looking forward to that AT ALL. He sweated, legs shook, turned bright red all over and had to take a break! And he is a very fit speed cyclist. Doesnt bode well for me i tell you - can only hope that ten days of level one will have me whipped into shape!

Hubby laughed at me last night as I was annoyed at having to miss my workouts yesterday and will also have to miss today, he says Im obsessed already. I can hardly breath through my nose and my throats all tickly which I dont think will go well with the intensity of the workout. Today will be day 15 and with the double days I have been doing I am up to 14 workouts and will be able to make the days back up as soon as I can breath and get a good nights sleep. Thought I was doing myself good last night by having a lemsip but it totally dried my eyes out and I was left with scratchy painful eyes all night Sad

am totally bemused.... what is this? have googled shredhead and got a surf clothing company... am sure that's not it. Confused
somehow i am 2 stone heavier after having ds ( 10weeks ago)and need to lose it. am still bf and seem to have pnd. is this the type of dvd that would just leave me physically unable to get out of bed (as well as emotionally unable to get out of bed)?? in which case i will stick to trying to get out for a walk with the buggy and do davina dvd once or twice a week. Smile

farrrkkk me i just done the work out. so glad its only 20 mins.

I managed well only really struggled trice and lost rythm so jumped for a few seconds and again at the end with the cross lunges, all I could do was shake out my legs and lunge up. so very pleased, hope to manage it all tomorrow. and I think i have a medium fitness.

can anyone suggest a yoga dvd?

im not going to drink wine every day so much so was thinking 30 day dvd in the morning and a yoga dvd after dd is in bed in the evening.

Loving "false message of lethargy" as a username. I'd change to 400 lb jumping jacks, but it's not quite as positive.

Tomhardy if you're going to watch it all, you may as well do it now, no?

Level 1 Day 7. It's so much easier than it was at the beginning, especially the cardio. Can't decide whether to move on tomorrow or stay with Level 1 on the basis that I'm scared I still can't do proper push-ups.

Mmmango, i did do it. well done you for getting so far, im hoping i will move up by 10 days.

Im not physicaly strong enough to do push ups either and find it harder on my knees and even at my fitesset i couldnt. i have a frozen shoulder and rsi in same arm so just dont have the strenghth.

I would move up regardless if I where you.

Hey, well done Tomhardy - how did you do? It must feel good to have finally got started after waiting so long. I think you're right, I've never done a proper push up in my life, it's mostly an excuse. Level 2 tomorrow.

Re the push-ups - dh does level three and there its moving pushups - theres no escape from them. I am only moving up tomorrow because after 3 or so weeks I can now do all of the push up time instead of doing 15 and then swearing copiously.

Actually dh does it silently but I find it useful to rant, talk back and swear at the woman - does anyone else do this?

Day 3 level 1 DONE. i have to say it was easier than yesterday and although i am still waddleing when i first get up from sitting i am not as sore, especially in my back and arms.

I have been doing knee pushups. i did try doing then on the edge of the sofa but they seemed harder than on my knees and my wrists were hurting from not being on a flat surface. I might have to give them another try though to try and get to full pushups before level 3, only 17 days till level 3 starts, yikes!

I actually looked forward to doing it today although i was hoping the asda man didn't bring my shopping half way through. he didn't luckily otherwise he would have had an eyeful of my arse going to the side and back for side lunges as he knocked on the door,lol
