I did a sneaky weigh in tonight and I've lost 8lbs Shock in 1 and 1/2 weeks! I am on level 1 day 7 of shred as did not do it over weekend but added walking 3 miles a day to my exercise... My true weigh in will be Friday morning..

am Envy though given as I've been working hard and gained 2pm for the pleasure!
Level 1 day 9 complete going to do it again tomorrow rest on fri (will prob swim ) and then see what level 2 is like on sat eek!

Well done everyone. First day with proper weights today for me, so I suspect I will be aching tomorrow.
Not had a day off yet so feeling quite proud of myself.

The walk outs on L2 are getting slightly easier but I would like to avoid them if poss!(ah,not likely!)

I've put on weight too! Been shredding religiously, on day 7 now I think but gained 2lb. Very annoying

I am having a break today (had one yesterday too). I seem to have hurt the area around my lower calves and ankles. I am not sure how. It's an area of the body I have never ever hurt before. Maybe my trainers (or doing it in bare feet for a bit) did the damage, or maybe I've been doing something wrong. Oooh er. Well tomorrow I will try Level 2 when DS2 is at pre-school. Was going to try it today and just feel a bit knackered and worried about me legs.

Can report a total weight loss of 2lb though, as of yesterday before I ate a massive shepherd's pie last night Grin

Hello everyone.

I walked into smiths yesterday and saw this DVD taunting ne from across the shop floor( having seen it mentioned on here)

I have just done it without weights as I didn't register that you needed them.

I did it in dcs games room which is in the basement and now I am nit sure I xan get back upstairs .

I am going on hols this April and have put on a stone in the last year which I want to lose. But please tell me it gets easier.....

It only gets easier if you let it get easier, as Jillian says you can make it as hard or as easy as you want. However you will stop aching I promise.

I like that you up the intensity. I got all jumpy and enthusiastic when she was doing her ' we are nearly finished so really go for it' bit. Now I am sitting in the basement with legs that belong to a much older person.

I will be doing it every week day.

Hi Y'All,

I've been lurking on this thread. Today is day 9 of level 1 for me. I think my legs are looking leaner already, and I too had a moment in the mirror where I thought "hmmm... good boobage" so that's definately an unexpected bonus! I've been grunting my way through the abs sections, however, my belly still resembles a blancmange! But under the wobbly surface I think things are starting to firm up, so will struggle on!

I'm not ready for level 2 yet, going to take me another week at least, but my goal is to look much simmer and toned for April, when we are off to a family wedding (first of 3 this year). When I start flagging I just visualize myself looking fab in a gorgeous dress!

I felt sad deciding to have a rest today so I relented and started Level 2!

It wasn't too bad!!

However, I took it easy and as I seem to have knackered my ankles I couldn't do some of the running and jumping bits and had to do that punching thing instead

Guess who is going shopping for new trainers tomorrow?

didn't shred today as came on this morning and can't face all the jumping about and ab work. Hopefully i won't be cramping as much tomorrow and will be able to get back at it.

Dottydot i would say it is harder than zumba but in a toning way rather than cardio

on day 10 of level 1 - it's still hard work! think i will wait until it's easy before i start level 2.

I've done my first day! I am aching now so decided to walk the school run in a bid to loosen up a bit so I am not crippled tomorrow.

I found that I could do Natalie cardio but mostly only Anita strength. I particularly struggled with the side lungey things and the forward lunges, plus the ab crunches at the end where you have bicycle legs at the same time kind of thing.

Am surprised as I thought I'd struggle with anything requiring stamina.

I was actually relieved to do the skipping and jump rope parts.

I turned my music up to drown out the voice since I too will become irritated by this after a few days. Did it to Dubstep which was mostly faster than Natalie was going so hope that cancels out the fact that my strength is equivalent to Anita's 90 year old grandmother.

Had a day off today - spent it with DP going to an exhibition, having lunch, seeing The King's Speech (totally brilliant), and getting my hair cut. What you gonna do about that, Jillian?

Calf/ankle straining seems to be a popular problem among us shredders - more calf stretching needed before starting, methinks.

Wow feeling pleased with myself having just completed day 2 of level 2!

12 days shred for me in total, not even half way through!

Hoping to see some results by Saturday when i measure/weigh so i don't feel it's all for nothing!

Just tried it for the first time and gave up on circuit 3.... my calves had absolutely had it! Definitely need to stretch beforehand I think.

Less complicated than Zumba but more intense somehow.

No shred again for me today, i have D and V since yesterday evening. Was up through the night and now feel dizzy if i try and get off sofa so just gonna lie here today and try to keep water down. Hopefully i will not be out of action for too long

Should I continue on even though in a rather crippled fashion or have a rest day? SDon't want to rest but also don't want to do a pointless routine where my legs and arms can only move about 1cm per hour.
