sat night was heaven - got there 6.30 - gave babs 8mths a bottle and he was in bed just after 7 and didnt hear a peep from him, i left at 1am

every hour or so the butler knocked on the door (in hotel bedroom) to see if i wanted anything, ie tea/drinks/food etc

managed to clean house today, well downstairs, and was doing the hoover hobble [hsmile]

dh is making fahittas for tea

Blondes - impressed that you're doing cleaning with your ankle as it is.

Bebe - we will be doing toy rotation. I went and bought some storage stuff today for just that purpose. I've also been really anal and listed all of the people and things which go with her toys as I find it much easier knowing that its Noah or a zebra I'm looking for rather than just having a feeling that something is missing.

Pretty - it will be so satisfying doing on top of the cupboard as you'll be able to see a difference with each wipe that you do.

GG - I'm not surprised you ache. Are you feeling better now?

I still haven't plucked up the courage to weigh in today. And I haven't done myself any favours by having two blondies this morning and two brownies this afternoon. And there's half a chocolate cheesecake left which really should be finished today and its just too delicious to squirt with washing up liquid.

These baby competitions are all about who has the most family/friends to vote for them, our local rag has one every year.

Both dd and ds are ill, ds has a cough and dd has just been sick, she's in my bed watching little princess now. Doesn't look like we're going anywhere today, also stayed in yesterday.

Still being good - sneaked on to the scales this morning after completing Day 27 of the Shred and had broken the 13 stone barrier! :)

Pretty - well done on breaking the 13 st barrier. Its such a great feeling, isn't it.

Bebe - blondies are brownies but with white chocolate and, in my recipe, macademia nuts as well. They didn't turn out that well this time as I cooked them for too long but that didn't stop me eating them! Not on fb so can't enter your DD. I did think of entering my DD but decided that we didn't have enough friends! In our local rag, there was a story about the DC who won it which mentioned that her gran and gran's friends had done a mail drop around all the local streets telling people about the DC and how to vote.

Blondes - I'm not sure your foot looks that appetising!

I have a butternut squash sitting in my kitchen, can anyone post me a recipe for soup/curry?

I would like to do my Davina DVD at some point today, dh gone to the midlands to see relatives so no chance of going out for a run. Thinking of doing a 10K race at some point, there's one close to here just after christmas

oic hecate - you can only have 50 threads in im on- thats happened to me before lol

gg - cut up bns, add to 2 litres of stock (chicken is nice ) add an inion and simmer till soft and puree -i often add a tiny bit of chilli to give it a bit of a kick

im having a week off this week, lost my mojo [hsad] and will start back again next week

Re BNS, I add red pepper & nutmeg & sometimes tin of tomatoes. Is very versatile! :o

Blondes - I have lost my mojo too, am a bit bored of soup & just want 'proper' food!

Have been to GP this morning. Turns out I have somehow buggered up my hip joint & he's given me some strong anti-inflammatories! Also got odd temperature sensations in same leg which is probably my MS :( If that gets worse I'll have to have steroids again :( :(

Oooh, also planning on cooking some pumpkin after the weekend. Might try the pumpkin soup recipe on MN.

ive still got 10 lbs to lose and prob a stone by fridays weigh in 'sighs'
