Just a heads up for anyone about to buy a pen, MMP have just announced new prices from midnight tonight……

Maybe the arrival of the pills meaning they’re doing reduction in price?

I buy all mine from them so I am well pleased. Although I just got one last week annoyingly!

That's a pretty good price! I just paid £175 for a 7.5mg (normally buy 5mg but as it was such a good price thought I might as well get the bigger pen) but that deal disappeared the next day, and was only for new customers anyway. If these prices are long term I'll look to buy from them next month. Does that price include postage or is it extra?

OH! I’ve been meaning to mention this NSV! Bags with shortish handles that now fit over the shoulder! I don’t always need a cross-body strap!

I use MMP and postage and everything is included in that price.
Never had any issue with them. They are efficient and reliable.

I’ve only ever bought from MMP and their prices have always included P&P so I assume that won’t change. They use Royal Mail and don’t require a delivery signature.

Thanks, that's good to know. It looks like this might be quite a widespread price drop so it will be interesting to see where all the suppliers land. In a way I'm quite glad I've only just ordered so I can sit back and see where things go. At least my latest pen was in line with these prices anyway so I won't feel like I've lost out!

According to Reddit we’re going to see big reductions from all the big suppliers, MMP were just first to announce. It’s something to do with something called Eli Lilly direct but to be honest I’m not interested enough to care about the whys, just interested like the rest of us in lower prices 😂

There's also some talk that it may be only for multi-pen bundles so that will be interesting. EliLilly Direct is their own distribution service - you order through a pharmacy as normal but the pharmacy use EliLilly Direct to fulfill the order rather than holding their own stock. My last but one pen came that way, no real difference except I got a sharps bin I hadn't asked for (and didn't need) and a box of 100 wipes.

I was going to order a pen tomorrow from Swift Doctor but I may wait and see what happens to their prices and others. It’s tempting to swap to MMP but I guess they’ll be inundated with people swapping and might have issues as a result.
