@MCR24 Still in awe. I started at a similar weight to you and have a similar end goal but im 20months in and have really plateaued lots since Jan!

I jabbed 11mg yesterday but not sure keep going up is the answer either as I'm not eating tons.

I had the "could be going onto hrt/ could be the heat/could be where ive started fitness things again" but .... its frustrating now!

11 stone 8. So near and yet.... so far!

@EnterSandfan I still get surprised when I go try on clothes and small sizes actually go on me 😂 I never thought it would happen.

@FatsiaJaponicaInTheGarden thank you! Since January I've lost 11.7kg / 1 stone, 11 lb and 12.71 oz, so it's really slowed down, I've also had a couple of weekends away. However it has continued to go down slowly so keep going! I'm hoping I can be on/under 60kg on Thursday 🤞🏼

@MCR24 haha yes it's so weird holding something up and thinking 'there's no way', but then it fits. I wonder how long it takes the brain to catch up 🤔

A nice NSV is hanging washing on the line and thinking how small it looks, like 'ooh these jeans are not a metre wide like my old ones' 😆

Ten and a half stone difference. I struggle to believe I look like that now. Well done everyone on the thread. Whether your beginning or ending your journey I have been over 20 stone for 40 years and if I can do it anyone can.

I’m back from holidays and braced myself for WI. Against ALL expectations I have lost! Either 0.75 of a pound or 1.75 pounds depending on whether I count the lb I put on at Latitude right before I went away. Either way I am surprised, and chuffed to bits!

Brilliant, @TragicMuse you must be thrilled! I remember old me putting on a stone in a week when I was on holiday once!

Apparently, the Eli Lilly tablet orforglipron, which is branded as Foundayo in the US, has just today been approved by the MHRA for UK use. It is not a peptide GLP-1, and so the tablet can be taken without any restrictions on when or how to take it. The weight loss reported from the trials is quite modest at only 9 to 12% of starting weight after 72 weeks, but it might be an interesting option for maintenance, depending on pricing. I wonder whether it will get many takers in comparison to the Wegovy tablet that seems quite popular despite the 8 hr fast needed before taking it, and then at least 30 minutes of no food or drink afterwards.
