52soon · 11/07/2026 17:35

HW 19st7lb
SW MJ 18 st1lb
CW 13st5lb
Wk 62 my weight seems stuck I’ve only lost 9lb since mid April I’ve increased to 12.5 mg it’s made no change, I started exercising in May with walking now I’m going to gym twice a week. I’m the same weight now that I was when I got married 33 years ago, I would love to get in the 12 stones. Positive changes I am happy with how my new size 16 clothes fit and even have a 14 dress and top that looks lovely, so that is keeping me focused, hope the scales catch up soon.

@afaloren I’m not a massive MCR fan like yourself but I honestly think I don’t love you is an epic song, and under appreciated, I bloody love an epic guitar song and this is up there with the best. I bet the show was amazing.

They played it and it was fantastic! Ray (lead guitarist) just looked like he was having the best time. It was an epic show.

PearlsTeapot · 11/07/2026 19:33

I would love to see them live, I'm jealous! Excellent NSV @afaloren I have avoided concerts for years for fear of being too big and taking up too much space. No more!

RenegadeKeeblerElf · 11/07/2026 20:20

Does anyone else find that although they take a while to get hungry, when they are hungry it comes on suddenly? I seem to go from 'couldn't possibly think about eating' to 'organise I'm starving and must eat right now!' in about 30 secs. It makes it really hard to time when start cooking dinner, or to avoid snacking while I'm waiting for it to cook.

mounjaroatlast · Yesterday 12:30

I have broken the 10kg this week, 137 down to 126.7, that is in just under 3 months

. I can start to see a difference in myself now, my arse doesn't stick out so much and old tops that were too tight can now be worn again.

Fingers crossed it keeps on going this way. Some days I do feel sick and not wanting to eat anything, but the hot weather is not helping with that either.

TragicMuse · Yesterday 13:14

1lb off for me this week! Feels like a huge win in this heat!

Week 71, 10mg every 5 days.

SW 19st 4lbs (Jan 2025, pre-MJ)
SW on MJ 18st 11.5lbs (1 Mar 2025)
CW 11st 8lbs
Change this week 1lbs
Total loss 108lbs/7st 10lb

oh I meant to tell you all, I went to a gig a couple of weeks ago and bought a t-shirt. The young woman at the stall asked what size I wanted and then said ‘medium, yeah?’ Which was a huge boost! Very happy with that little exchange!

This is me too! It’s such a strange sensation.
I sometimes question whether it is emotional hunger because it can happen when I feel stressed or upset too. But I have to say, most of the time it is genuine physical hunger.
I’ve tried to make sure that my meal times are fairly consistent to provide a level of reassurance to my body that food is not scarce, but it’s a strange one to handle.

Hi guys, ive not posted in a wee while. Been reading everyones comments though and well done everyone on the NSV's.

I am finally into the 12 stones gone from 20.7 stone to 12.13 stone. I started in May 2025 and its been a long journey. Im quite small so need to get to 10 stone for a healthy bmi although tbh i'd happily just be in the 10's. Hoping this is my year and I can be there before the end of the year.

So glad I started this journey but I am looking forward to relaxing my eating on the weekend as this is when I feel im missing out the most. Anyway happy weekend everyone x

Springflowers2 · Yesterday 16:46

I'm just in the top ends of 14 stones now .
But I'm still no nearer clothes wise
We are of on holiday tomorrow to a beach resort i have nothing to wear except gym clothes that I live in and church dresses for church.
I couldn't find anything I liked
Ugh

See reading some of the other weight loss threads is so depressing. Here's me over the moon to finally in the 12's which I've not been in for over 15 years. Then I see people starting on less and saying how disgustingly big they were 🤦‍♀️

I hear you! I’m feeling good at 16st right now 😂 It might sound like a lot to some people but I’m 7st lighter than I was in November 2025 when I started (I am going to keep going but I’m embracing all the small wins on the journey).

Couldn't agree more, I feel great at 15st 6 and am happily fitting into size 16's but some of the dramatic statements you read on social media from people that are lighter than me saying how massive/disgusting/hideous/grotesque they are is unbelievable. I have to resist calling them out frequently!

I'm 14 stone 11 and 5 foot ten ..and everything I'm wearing today is size 20 .

Most of my weight seems to be in my middle
Yet I have bones all over the place now .
I put my details in to disturbia web site as I was looking at a dress to buy ,and it told me size 16 was my size .
I've got an oversized coat in a 16 ..but everything else I'm wearing is 20 .
I do have 18s ..but ..I don't know .
So I've got 4 pairs of cycling shorts in size 20 ..the legs flap about ,they don't even look like cycling shorts..yet they are ..
It's just so expensive having to replace stuff

Springflowers2 · Yesterday 19:42

The biggest size I bought was yours size 34 t shirt..so I usually skipped a size going down , trying to make the clothes last as long as possible before buying the next size down.
Currently trying to get through to the autumn before buying anything else

user593 · Yesterday 20:08

I seem to be a pretty consistent size 18 now at 16st and 5’6 but sometimes need to go up to a size 20, especially if anything is fitted around my boobs (38G). At the moment, I am racing to make the most out of all the lovely 18/20s I bought before they get too big! I was in a size 26 when I started but did not dare buy anything tight like jeans, so may have been bigger than that in reality.

The human body is weird though, I never understand when I see people online say so&so can’t be size 12 at xxstone because I’m a size 16 and I weigh less than her, it varies so much and everyone is so different.

Could it be @Springflowers2that you’re just used to wearing loose/baggy/oversized clothing and wearing closer fitting clothing just feels a bit odd to you and so you think it doesn’t fit because it feels tighter? Just a thought! It could just be you need to wait a bit longer and suddenly you’ll have a sizing whoosh.

Either way, the important thing is is that you’re doing amazing and haven’t given up on your journey (when let’s face it, all of us in this group could easily do as we’re all in this for the long haul!)

Yes me too! I feel great at 15 stone because I am 7 stone lighter than I was too. I feel small! But I’m still in size 20 clothes because I’m only 5 foot 1 so I’m short and fat. I can wear 18 tops though but I have really oversized arms.

It’s so tone deaf when 12 stone women are saying how fat and disgusting they are at their starting weights. I always want to say something but I try not to argue on the internet!

PearlsTeapot · Yesterday 20:40

@TheBroonOneAndTheWhiteOne how are you tonight?

Springflowers2 · Yesterday 20:52

@Fffreeeeezing ..I think a lot of it is the expense of it all
So much needs replacing, and different seasons.
So far I went through autumn winter 24 spring summer autumn winter 25 spring summer 26 ..and that's a lot of different sizes of clothes and different seasons.
I think I like to get my monies worth ..so I wear them long after I probably should.
Plus I don't like anything fitted

FatsiaJaponicaInTheGarden · Yesterday 21:04

Hello!

Came into say hi and to see how @TheBroonOneAndTheWhiteOne Was and was hoping you were out of hospital. Gosh I am so so sorry. What on earth happened? I hope you are safe and have some at home care or a good GP or something?!

Great to hear everyone's news.

My news is I have finally broken the - what seemed like 2 month - plateau.

The last few months I have started HRT, moved less, it's been hot etc. My chart would lose and rise and it looked like it was just going up and down the same 2kg.

Finally a new number though and I'm 11stone 8- 11stone 9 this week!!

SW 21st 11 (138kg) beg Jan 2025
CW 11st 8 (73.5kg) 18months in

GW1 10st 13 (bmi 24.999)
GW2 10st 7
GW3 10 st 2 (aspirational)

I can't believe how close I am to being a normal bmi! The pace has certainly slowed down considerably but thankfully I knew to expect that. I can't wait to be finally (hopefully) titrating back down.

On the skin - my arms at one point looked like they were hanging bags with fat drooping at the bottom - and that's much better now.

legs - melted candle but I wear dresses to the knee anyway.

Stomach - still the worst area for me. Makes me a size bigger round my middle so still haven't brought jeans yet. (Not that that's a problem in this heat - that can be an autumn purchase!) And even if my stomach always stays like this it is still so so much better than being morbidly obese but I think I am one of those people who could do with surgery. We wont ever afford it (still struggling with cost of the MJ) but I'm hoping maybe the final stone will come off my stomach!!!!

I feel so so different now.

I'm still fascinated by the mobility side of it. I was able to walk again way before I lost significant weight. Whereas people who meet me now assume its due to massive weight loss.

I'm now taking 9.5 mg from a 15 pen - and I ordered 3 x 15pens from Pharmulous to try and avoid the new pens - I was lucky!!!

I'd emailed them asking how ordering multiple pens worked and got a v quick reply. I have been v impressed with them.
