Well it feels like ages since I was last on here, but I think it's probably only been a few days, maybe a week. But so much to catch up on!! I see a few new names, so welcome you guys. You have found your way to the best thread on MN, it's lovely to have you on board.

@TheBroonOneAndTheWhiteOne how are you doing lovely? I so hope you are ok and on the mend.

Huge well done to everyone for all the amazing losses and NSV's, its so lovely to see what a huge difference this tiny little jab is making to our lives.

I've had a rather huge NSV today. I had a health MOT a couple of weeks ago, and my GP ordered a ton of blood tests. Well, for the first time in my entire life, every single one came back normal. All the usual ones, plus bone calcium, vit b12, ferritin, and a load of others I don't recognise. Every...single...one.... NORMAL. First time ever, I can't quite believe it, I am over the moon 🥰.

Argh the new pens have finally reached me, got my 5mg from Pharmulous just now and it’s got the spacer. Knew it was coming but still, it makes it all more expensive.

I just got a text from my GP surgery - apparently due to information they have about me, I may be eligible for a 12 week weight loss programm🙈 Would that information be the fact that my BMI has gone from 51 to 31 in the last 12 months??? Interesting that they weren't offering this support a year ago!

Ahh, it’s a funny sort of disappointment when the new style arrives. Mine was a 12.5 from the Family Chemist.

I had the same thing recently, I did go along out of interest and she said they were inviting everyone with a BMI over 30. The programme consisted of sessions on healthy eating and ones on exercise and weekly weigh ins. Like we haven’t tried that half our lives already 🙄 I declined 🙄😂. I did also ask why invite me now and not before when my BMI was 50!

I guess it’s a new national initiative?

I'm having one of those week where for absolutely no reason my suppression is through the roof. I'm literally sat here trying to eat my usual Greek yogurt bowl (which I love 99% of the time) and my brain is telling me to put the spoon down, I don't want food ever!

I'm so glad I'm not one of those people who feel like this all day every day, this would have worn thin pretty quickly I think. It's just such a weird feeling, there is genuinely nothing on earth anyone could put in front of me right now that I could summon up any enthusiasm about eating.

Anyways, back to the mammoth attempt to get to the bottom of the bowl

0h and anyone else who is sadly having to live through another heatwave (I really should live at the opposite end of the UK to which I do, I much prefer cold!) my tip of the day if you calorie count......

Fab ice lollies= 75kcals (50 if you buy the Iceland own brand)

Mars bar and malteaser ice creams- 130/125kcals

Soleros = 100kcal ish

And ice cream has protein so calories well spent I think

And now I’m thinking why not make my own frozen yogurt? I have some silicone moulds, they make a callippo-shaped lolly, I could use those…

Hmmm frozen yogurt....... off to Amazon to find lolly moulds.......

Iced coffees are my nemesis! I’m never gonna lose weight if I can’t resist their pull. It doesn’t help that I live opposite a Starbucks drive thru!

@TheBroonOneAndTheWhiteOne Please report and look after yourself. I hope you have support close by, this won’t just impact you physically but also mentally.

Strangest NSV today and again something I’d had never considered. I’ve always been a handbag fan but struggled to get crossbody bags with a strap long enough. I’d always extend the strap in the shop to the longest setting and try them on in shops but most would be under my boobs so look awful. I found one that worked as it had a long enough strap and have now been using it for over 10 years. Suddenly realised today when I nipped out for some lunch in the office that the strap is now too long and the bag sits against my upper thigh instead of my hip! First job when I get home is to shorten the adjustable strap!

After 15 months of weekly jabs, today I have accidentally stabbed myself in the finger on the way to unbuttoning my jeans. Familiarity breeds contempt.

I discharged myself. A friend is going to stay the night.

Police are investigating.

Discharged myself. Couldn't bear another minute there.

So sad.

I can see you didn't have a choice really but are you well enough to be home?
