Did you stay on Wegovy after your trial @TheBroonOneAndTheWhiteOne?

HW 19st 7lb
MJ 18st 1lb
CW 13st 8lb
week 56 and week 3 of 12.5 mg and felt awful day after jab this week so nauseous and had to go back to bed in the afternoon, I haven’t had that reaction since the week of first jab so I don’t know if I should go back down to 10mg, I’m still only losing 1lb a week no matter what dose I’m on. I was starting to think about buying all the treats I used to buy when I was shopping so upped it to 12.5 and it’s stopped so I’m a bit confused about what to do.

So after posting this I went back down to 10mg and last week put 1lb back on then today another 1lb these are the first gains for no apparent reason and I don’t understand it, I have joined a walking group and am now doing that twice a week from doing no exercise at all, I’m on week 5 of that. I’ve just jabbed 12.5 mg today and hope it doesn’t affect me like last time.

MummyInTheNecropolis · 11/06/2026 05:55

So today is weigh in and jab day after my first week back on MJ, and I can’t quite believe it but I have lost half a stone this week! Obviously most of that will be water/salt, and last week I was weighing myself after a week of bingeing so it isn’t a ‘real’ half a stone, but it’s still good progress! And the real win is the fact that I haven’t binged all week.

Thank you @eibbed999 for inspiring me to try this reset, I had no idea if it would work or not but was hoping and praying it would and I am delighted with the result!

GnomeDePlume · 11/06/2026 06:02

Weigh in and jab day

SW 140kg BMI 54.7
CW 87.8kg BMI 34.3
GW 63kg BMI 24.6

13 stone 12lbs in old money. 8 stone 3 lbs down. No change on last week.

We are off on holiday on Saturday. A fortnight in the South of France. I will be taking Mounjaro while away. Looking forward to some really nice food. We are self catering but where we are staying is on the main drag down to the beach so lots of restaurants and cafes to choose from. Weirdly I have been looking at menus and finding my eyes drawn to salads!

Oh that's brilliant news @MummyInTheNecropolis - so glad it's helped! I'm still slowly clawing away at my gain, but as you say the biggest joy is not feeling at the mercy of the binging tendencies. Long may it continue!

PearlsTeapot · 11/06/2026 11:09

Wishing you all the best @TheBroonOneAndTheWhiteOne it's dreadful being so poorly.

I'm finding 4mg not as good as 5 was for the food noise unsurprisingly, but no diarrhoea so I'm sticking at 4. The movicol has got me moving too and I'm pleased with that.

Billybingbong · 11/06/2026 14:49

I've just had an email from Zava to say a Wegovy tablet is 'coming soon'. How soon I dont know, because reading further it says it is expected by the end of the year, but it's one to look out for....

Billybingbong · 11/06/2026 14:51

@PearlsTeapot happy to hear you're 'on the move' again 😊

SilenceInside · 11/06/2026 16:13

The new Wegovy tablet has been approved by the MHRA apparently:

GeraldThePufferSponge · 11/06/2026 17:12

Evening all! I’d like to ask - did any of you experience fatigue when you first started? I’m on my third week and am totally knackered this week. I’m eating three good meals a day and prioritising protein and drinking plenty so wondering if it’s a common side effect that hopefully fades…?

SilenceInside · 11/06/2026 17:23

@GeraldThePufferSponge fatigue is listed in the patient info leaflet as a common side effect, so around 1 in 10 people might experience it. Side effects are generally associated with starting the medication and then also on dose increase, so hopefully it will be better for you soon.

user593 · 11/06/2026 20:35

@GeraldThePufferSponge Day two after the jab I am almost always exhausted and my whole body feels heavy. Now I know it happens though I plan ahead, although I made the mistake of doing a gym class on that day this week and I think it’s well and truly done me in!

It’s exciting but my understanding is costs will be similar to injection.

That's interesting. I keep seeing posts that the pills will be cheaper but I've not understood why.

SilenceInside · 12/06/2026 07:26

I think the idea is that manufacture, transport and storage will be cheaper as there’s no need for any cold chain. But I think that Novo Nordisk won’t significantly undercut their own product so the prices will be similar. The pharmacies seem to be making a point about them being “injection free” as the selling point rather than mentioning cost.

Billybingbong · 12/06/2026 09:47

@SilenceInside Yes I had noticed that too, no mention of cost yet. You would have thought the pill might be cheaper than the jab, but they won't want to outprice themselves, so it will be interesting to see if they try and market it as just giving us options rather than cost savings.

So, after resigning myself to losing 1 or 2lb a month now, I'v had a bit of a whoosh this week and have lost 3lb. No clue how, I've done nothing different, but I'm obviously very happy with that 😊

I'm now just 2lb away from 8st, almost at <35bmi, and 6lb away from the 100's, so a few mini targets to aim for over the next few weeks.

NSV, I bought a couple of size 16 tops yesterday, and when I got them home, they are both too big, so will be swapped for 14's. Never in a million years did I ever think would be in a size 14! My bottom half hasn't got that memo just yet, and is still a size 18, but considering I started at a size 28, I'm not too fussed about that.

SW 22st 8lb
CW 14st 10lb
GW 11st 4lb

Have a great weekend losers, onwards & downwards 🥰

TheBroonOneAndTheWhiteOne · 12/06/2026 10:25

Ugh, had to have a tooth extracted, then it wouldn't stop bleeding, so had to go back to the dentist and had four sutures put in. That stopped the bleeding but then I fainted. Dental nurse ended up driving me home.

I've got a clotting disorder so this was predictable.

So sick of feeling unwell!

That’s horrid @TheBroonOneAndTheWhiteOne. Hope it all passes soon now. Seems like it’s been one thing after another for you at the moment.

Oh you poor thing - it's all a bit of a shit show for you at the moment!

RenegadeKeeblerElf · 12/06/2026 10:44

I would guess that the tablet would only be cheaper if it was also less effective, or if they are going to phase out the injections. Otherwise no one would take the injection and it would be pointless manufacturing it. The tablets being cheaper to manufacture will just increase their profits.

Billybingbong · 12/06/2026 11:04

Oh @TheBroonOneAndTheWhiteOne you poor love, that sounds awful. You're having a rotten time of it at the moment, I really hope things start picking up for you soon 💐💕

RenegadeKeeblerElf · 13/06/2026 08:32

'Just' 0.3kg off this week, as with last week I've kept the reins a little loose this week, had a couple of meals that were higher in calories, but more worryingly I've gone back to a bad habit of a slice of bread and butter before bed for no real reason. I need to keep on top of these bad habits, it might be that the increase from 5mg to 6.25mg wasn't enough but I'll give it a couple more weeks (to the end of my current pen) and see how it goes. The weight is still coming off, so it's not a problem yet, but I want to nip it in the bud. I also think I'm relaxing a bit because I now feel like I look reasonably 'normal' in the mirror - not thin, but not particularly fat, even though my BMI is still 33, and I think that's contributing to me not being so motivated. But I also think it's ok to relax a little, it might give me a better relationship with food.
