Good luck, losers.

All welcome!

This is amazing, you really kept them a long time (no idea how old you are!) and now finally can reap the benefit! Show us them?

Thanks for the click chart @Billybingbong but I go up in 2 clicks at a time, not 5.

@SilenceInside so if I want to work out what 42 clicks from a 7.5 pen is, what would I do please? Then 44, 46 etc?

Yes a very long time, almost 40 now! I'm sure there will be a gig or festival coming up that I can wear them at!

@MCR24 those boots are FIRE. LOVE them.

Just got back from a museum outing with the kids and realise I’ve lost the urge to always want to sit down. And I’m going out this evening to a concert so will have to leave within the next 45 mins and the thought of going out energises me rather than exhausts me. I’m just over 2 months in so not many kg down so far but definitely feeling health benefits. I feel better than I have done in a long while, and that’s coming off the back of a cold.

PearlsTeapot · 11/04/2026 18:09

Thanks so much for the clicks help- it's appreciated!

Love the boots! You must feel badass wearing them, especially now.

Billybingbong · 11/04/2026 20:52

@Fffreeeeezing I'm having the exact same problem with clothes right now. I have hardly any work clothes that still fit, and my shape is changing all the time at the moment, so I dont want to spend too much. I have a couple of dresses I can probably get another month or two out of, and a few pairs of trousers, but desperately need some tops. I just dont know where to start. Vinted is great if you know what you're looking for, but I have no clue!l what suits me these days. But I'm not complaining, it's a nice problem to have.

@MCR24 Those boots are bloody fantastic, I LOVE them!!

@Theringcycle I love a good concert, hope you have a fab time

@PearlsTeapot sorry the click chart was no good, but glad the other losers managed to get you sorted. This link is also a really good tool https://www.vrgrowth.co.uk/mounjaro-clicks

I'm ok for everyday/casual clothes at the moment (jeans are loose but look fine, I've got plenty of tops that hadn't fit for a while but now do) but my work tunics are getting to be too big again. I have tunics in sizes 14, 18, 22 - when I started MJ the 22s were a bit snug, then eventually got too big and I was able to get into the 18s. People are now starting to comment that they are too loose, but I tried on a 14 the other day and although it does zip up, it's still a little more snug than I would like. Hopefully it will be better in a few weeks. Work trousers are more of an issue though - I'm still wearing the size 20 that I started in but they are really too loose now, but my next ones down are a 14 which is a way off (they might fit now but they would be too short - stretchy material). But I don't want to buy more than will only fit for a few months.

Theringcycle · 11/04/2026 22:41

Clothes-wise I’m fitting better in stuff I had been avoiding / had bought but were too tight, / had been keeping just in case, and as I’m near the start of my journey I want to keep going with what I have until I must change them, but I have bought a couple of pairs of pleather trousers in a 20 (I started off as a 24), one because it was just a few quid on offer and one because it was on Vinted, because my current favourite pair is getting a bit big, so that when the favourite pair really doesn’t fit I have something else ready to go.

MCR24 · 11/04/2026 23:08

Thanks for the boots love!

I saw someone tonight who I haven't seen for a couple of years, she didn't realise who I was at first , then realised and said and wow you look different 😂 I'm not sure if that's better or worse than 'you look well' which is what people usually say.

Missingducks · 12/04/2026 08:09

Not sure if this is an NSV from WLI or something else but I wore a white linen shirt out for lunch yesterday and didn't spill anything on my boobs

Absolutely an NSV. Spilling food down my top used to be a regular thing when I was bigger, the kids used to joke they were going to buy me an adult bib!

52soon · 12/04/2026 11:22

Saw 13st13lb on the scales this morning! I’ve not seen the 13’s since I got married 33 years ago. Hope it stays in the 13’s when I see the diabetes nurse on Thursday.

EducatingEater · 12/04/2026 11:43

That is amazing, well done! Keeping fingers tightly crossed that the new few days are kind. You're doing incredibly!

tescovaluebread · 12/04/2026 11:45

I asked chat gpt to create an info graphic with some stats and some motivation, it's pretty good! Will print out and stick somewhere. Just a suggestion for anyone else who wants to see their progress in this way. I'm hoping it will give me the motivation to lose the last 13kg! Come on!!!! 💪💪

tescovaluebread · 12/04/2026 11:55

NSV which no one prepared me for the exercise I do is burning less calories now that I'm slimmer. 🙄
Previously I'd be out of breath breaking a sweat easily knocking out 500cals in a 30 min workout at 144kg. Now I'm just scraping 300cals for the same workout. I guess my body isn't working as hard so it all makes sense, I just didn't expect it and feel a bit short changed 😅

TragicMuse · 12/04/2026 13:04

I know what you mean @tescovaluebread, my cycle to work burn around 100 calories. It’s a bit more on the way home because it’s uphill and takes a little longer. But all that effort for 200ish calories makes me feel a bit short-changed!

I’m hoping my lung capacity and stamina will improve as an added bonus.

Castlebark · 12/04/2026 15:25

@52soon that's a brilliant achievement!

@Missingducks the boobs thing is the best thing I've read all day. 😂

I've just twigged that I've lost 10% of my starting weight. I've still got 42% to go, but I guess I'm nearly 20% done? A little over 8 weeks in, so I'm wondering when the weight loss rate starts to slow?

Putyourleftarmin · 12/04/2026 16:44

Hello there

I wondered if I might join along? I started on MJ in Sept 2024 at 21st.1

I've taken my journey carefully and have lost 4st in total since. I have had to stop at one point for surgery & working my way back up the doses. I'm about to restart on 15mg and still have around 6 st to go.

My journey hadn't been as rapid as some as I've needed to pause/ work my way bd j up doses & gained a little when I came off of the numero got surgery.

But could really do with support/ chatting to & cheering on others.

I'm getting back exercise post op too and have been doing a lot more walking as well as strength training throughout my weight loss. I love that I feel so much fitter & stronger than I was.

Really resonate with lots of the NSV you have all shared too, the medication has been life changing for me having been obese for much of my life.

TheBroonOneAndTheWhiteOne · 12/04/2026 16:49

Hello @Putyourleftarmin and welcome to the thread!

You've done very well so far. I don't think it matters how slowly we lose weight, as long as it's consistent.

You've obviously had a setback, needing surgery and having to stop the MJ for a while.

@Castlebark I can't understand these figures.

@tescovaluebread love the poster, got chatGPT to make me one too! It's not as fancy as yours but I like it. I've put it as my phone background!

Lost 1lb this week, another pound to go to get to my lightest after my accidental gain! Going up to 7.5 over the next 12 weeks (2 clicks a week) which I'm hoping will help speed things up.

Welcome @Putyourleftarmin to the best thread there is!

SilenceInside · 12/04/2026 17:04

@Castlebark congratulations on the 10% loss, great progress! I guess you mean you need to lose 52% of your starting weight to get to your final target? So having lost 10% of that 52% so far, you’re about 20% through that 52% (10/52).

RenegadeKeeblerElf · 12/04/2026 17:37

Welcome @Putyourleftarmin. It's so important to remember that this isn't a race. Some people lose quickly, others lose at a steadier pace, but we all have our challenges and needs and everyone's journey will be different. The important thing is that we have made the decision to start, and to keep going, for however long it may take.

@Castlebark losing 10% of your starting weight is fab - I remember from my SW days that there are significant health benefits from losing that 10% in terms of reducing the risks associated with obesity, so it is well worth celebrating 🥳

@PearlsTeapot well done on the loss, and hope it goes well titrating up.

Billybingbong · 12/04/2026 18:09

@52soon well done, it always gives me a buzz when I drop down to the next stone bracket

@Putyourleftarmin hello and welcome to the best thread on MN. Speed is all well and good, but consistency is absolutely the key 💕

@PearlsTeapot well done lovely, youre doing amazing x

Castlebark · 12/04/2026 21:16

Sorry @TheBroonOneAndTheWhiteOne , yes, @SilenceInside has it right. My goal is to lose 50% of my starting weight, give or take.

Losing 10% is my first proper milestone, so I'm pretty happy. But I know it's going to start slowing down at some point, I just hope that's not for a long while!
