I’m Glad the waist cinchers are such a success! I have some lovely trousers and want to extend the life so they’re going to feature heavily in my wardrobe I think!

I’m definitely now lighter than my husband but he’s very tall - long bones (as well as the well-fed-husband pot, of course!).

I’m wearing my size 12 dress. I made a new drawstring for it - to be prettier and in slightly thinner fabric so less bulky. It’s such a lovely wear. I have a fancy to go to John Lewis and try on some 12 and 14 clothes and see what happens…I’m smaller than a JL or Sainsbury 16 in trousers!

Edited

Mine arrived earlier, today's trousers fit fine but I had tied a knot at the side of my top with a hair bobble to make it more fitted and have replaced it with a silver four leaf clover, looks fab thanks for sharing

I'm still here enjoying reading everyone's comments
But no further forward in any direction myself
Weight is still 7 pounds of this year . trying to stay positive.
Been looking up to see if monjroro could be causing my anxiety, and depression, (although apparently I'm not depressed according to my doctor)
I'm pushing my doctor to chase up my ADHD asessment,as I've been waiting over 3 years ..I kind of know I've got it ,as they wrote on my autism diagnosis report that I met the criteria for ADHD .
My last hope is that some ADHD meds sort me out mentally.
I'm kind of thinking I want to try coming of monjroro, because it's a lot of money to not be currently loosing weight..(.I swear I am not eating more ,I've been counting calories..)
But I'm scared of all the stories Ive read about people feeling out of control food wise ...and I may not be loosing weight currently, but I'm not overeating,I'm not binging, weight is holding steady at 10 and a half stone loss ..
Ahhhh...I don't know what to do .....
Anyone who has had along period of not loosing...how long did it last???

Doggymummar · 19/03/2026 18:06

I went 9 months without losing at one point. I think it was after the first year, I was on Rybelsus then, and I switched to MJ and started losing at 10mg I knew i5 would work eventually. I've not lost anything overall since September last year either. But having spent this week tracking I can see I had fallen into bad habits. I've literally one pound to lose to get to BMI 25 it's frustrating

diggitydoo · 19/03/2026 20:21

Hi guys. Quick advice please.

I’m feeling despondent and desperate after not losing anything for 4 weeks.

have been eating 1600 a day ( which is a 800 deficit for me) , over 100 G protein. But not losing. Don’t get it. Sadness

realised that I’ve been on 5mg for 12 weeks now. Maybe I should change to 7.5?

So I have two 5mg doses left in my pen. If I take one and a half tonight then that’ll be 7.5 mg yes?

could I do one full dose ( 60 clicks) and one half dose (thirty clicks) with different needles. Then I’ll buy a new 7.5 pen ?

TheBroonOneAndTheWhiteOne · 19/03/2026 20:35

Yes @diggitydoo that would be 7.5mg.

And don't throw out whatever remains.
You can extract it with a syringe and needle, when it's time for your next dose.

OP posts:
SilenceInside · 19/03/2026 20:37

Yes, although I would use the remaining medication in your 5mg pen for another dose, before starting a new 7.5mg pen. There would be at least 0.9ml of medication left in the pen.

Sorry you’re stuck on a plateau, it is definitely a very frustrating thing.

diggitydoo · 19/03/2026 20:41

Or do you there’s any merit in going to 6.25 twice and then a 7.5 new pen?

PearlsTeapot · 19/03/2026 21:07

diggitydoo · 19/03/2026 20:41

Or do you there’s any merit in going to 6.25 twice and then a 7.5 new pen?

Have you had any problems with side effects? If so I’d do this. If not I’d go straight to 7.5.

diggitydoo · 19/03/2026 20:41

Or do you there’s any merit in going to 6.25 twice and then a 7.5 new pen?

Have you got some needles and syringes?

You've got enough to have 2 x 7.5mg doses anyway (the bonus dose is usually about 0.8ml. That's 6.25mg of MJ in a 5mg pen)

So how many ordinary doses are left, without the bonus? Two?

OP posts:
TheBroonOneAndTheWhiteOne · 19/03/2026 21:14

Okay, I've read your post better.

You've got two doses plus the bonus.

That's 2ml of MJ in a 5mg pen.

You could have 2 x 6.25mg doses and still have 3.125mg left.

I'd be inclined to indulge in a spot of micro-dosing. Have your two 6.25mg doses, then five days later have the last bit from that pen, then four or five days after that, have the 7.5mg from the new pen.

diggitydoo · 19/03/2026 21:22

Going for your suggestion the broon! Thanks everyone. Gonna break this shittty plateau!

PearlsTeapot · 19/03/2026 21:51

You can do it! Go up the dose, and back to basics. All the water and protein, log your calories. Good luck x

Doggymummar · 20/03/2026 07:39

It's a sad day.

My electric throw has passed away. It's a Lakeland poncho and I am cocooned in it from 5am till 10pm at my desk, or on the sofa. They don't make them anymore, this is my third one in three years, so I decided they are not very reliable, but it is on a lot. I have bit the bullet and ordered a Dreamland hurry home which gets very good reviews and a two year guarantee ( sounds like an advert) so hopefully I will have two years of worry free warming. Bu5 last night I swapped to shortie pyjamas and my legs are cold! Other half doesn't get up till 8.46 so can't go get dressed.

Anyone else unnaturally attached to something? Or is it just me?

Billybingbong · 20/03/2026 08:39

OMG guys, i am sooo happy. Week 50, and I've hit my 7st 1yr target 2 weeks early. 2lb off this week, total loss 7st 1lb. Right back on my very first jab day, I set this goal, and I've only gone and bloody done it. Back then, I had no comprehension of what that would actually mean, and how it would feel, but I can confirm, it feels friggin amazing. I'm still around 4st off my final goal, but that's now 7st closer than it was this time last year. I'm now only 1lb off my next target of 100lb. I'd do a happy dance, but I'd look a bit of an idiot because I'm sat in the car park at work, and it's rather busy 🤣

SW 22st 8lb
CW 15st 7lb 😁😁
GW 11st 4lb provisional

Have a great week losers ❤️

Theringcycle · 20/03/2026 08:40

Are you staying on it , despite not loosing

Sounds lovely,I'm permanently cold that would do me nicely, sounds like an electric blanket you wrap round yourself

TheBroonOneAndTheWhiteOne · 20/03/2026 12:06

I haven't lost much for eight weeks, but my shape is still changing.
It's weird.

I'm 10st 8lb now and very happy with how I look. But I have this notion in my head that I want to get down to 9st 12lb.

I just want the scales to start with a 9! Am I mad

Springflowers2 · 20/03/2026 12:23

My mum weighed 9 stone her whole life ..it kind of makes me feel I need to get to that to ,
So yes I understand that having a goal to get to

Springflowers2 · 20/03/2026 12:25

My weight today is 16 stone 7
Down from 27 stone .
And I'm just hoping my body hasn't decided this is the new set point
I'm BMI 32 so I've plenty to loose still
I would like to get my BMI to 25 in an ideal world
