I started 12 months ago and have lost exactly 7 stone.

I am a size 8 and started this journey a very unhappy size 18!

3st in just under 9.5 weeks. I still have a lot to go though.

That sounds dangerously fast. What are you eating?

That sounds dangerously fast. What are you eating?

Marinated chicken, rice, chickpeas and salad (cucumbers, peppers, red onion and feta) mostly.

Today I had two poached eggs on a slice of toast with avocado, feta, rocket and pumpkin seeds and one chicken thigh with rice and salad.

I’ve just assumed it’s because I have a lot to lose, and I don’t get bored of eating the same thing all the time.

Shmoigel · 28/01/2026 23:45

6st maintained for 9 months

I don’t know. I don’t count calories.

9.5 stone in 14 months

Summerflowers4 · 28/01/2026 23:56

10 and a half stone ,in 13 months
Size 32 to size 18
Still have a way to go .
It's been hard .. monjroro didn't make loosing weight super easy ,it just took the edge of .
Mentally I've got dependent on it ,and I'm to scared to come of ,incase I find out it's been helping me more than I thought
If the price goes up any more ,the decision will be made for me

sandyHerts · 29/01/2026 05:32

I've been on 2.5mg for 2½ months when my weight was 11st 6lbs...now I'm 9st 10lbs with another 3lbs to go. I've also started taking my shots every 12 days as my food suppression is still very strong and if need for maintenance, will take 2.5mg shots every 3 weeks.

PS just over thirty years ago I weighed nearly 21stones.

purpleflowersfordays · 28/01/2026 22:55

25kg in a year. Still losing but more slowly now as I’ve dropped back down to 5mg.

Tbh I’d love to stay on it for maintenance if I can as it’s helped with an autoimmune condition I have. I used to take two different antibiotics daily and I haven’t needed to since starting MJ.

My consultant told me it’s been proven to help with my condition but the NHS won’t fund it for that. So unfortunately I need to keep paying privately, which is saving the NHS money as I’m not getting a shit tonne of medication for the cost of my monthly pre-paid prescription card.

If you don’t mind saying - which AI disease is it? I have hypothyroidism and feel sooo much better!

Wickedlittledancer · 29/01/2026 06:24

Six and a half stone in about a year, size 18 down to a size 8, bmi 32 down to 20.

been maintaining now on a low maintenance dose for over 10 months, and just getting the hang of it, my weight is very stable, but have realised I don’t need to be so rigid, it’s not coming back on, so I can go to work events, out with my husband or friends, eat and drink as I please, as long as I’m good the rest of the time, and I don’t gain weight.

so for example going on a work trip for 3 days, and eating dinners with dessert, lunches, hotel breakfasts, having cocktails, drinks etc, would maybe see me gain a pound a pound or two, but within a couple of days it drops off, and if I’m on an all inclusive it’s the same, gained 4lbs on my two week one a few weeks ago, went back to standard weight within 2 weeks.

I can also easily tweak the med up slightly if required to get me back on the straight and narrow ie after holiday. So for example I maintain on 5mg, if I feel the need I can take 6mg which kick starts me, then go straight back to 5mg.

I’m so jealous, I can’t afford it and need to lose a good 9/10 stone 🙁
well done to you all though you must feel like different people!

I think it’s so unfair, but I do think both the price will drop with time and also the nhs will widen its criteria with time, so unless a medical issue that contra indicates, it’s just time till you can get them. 💐

DarkForces · 29/01/2026 06:29

About 5 stone in 11 months. I'm at goal weight now. I lost a regular 5lb a month after the first stone came off quickly

MummyInTheNecropolis · 29/01/2026 06:45

Just over 13 stone in a year, from a snug size 24 to a comfortable size 10. Didn’t plan on doing it so fast, I had expected it to take 2 years but it just happened that way. Am working on maintaining now but plan to stay on a low dose forever. It’s been completely life changing.

DeftGoldHedgehog · 29/01/2026 06:48

30lbs

SusanSHelit · 29/01/2026 07:09

Just over 4.5 stone. I'm very short (4ft10) so this feels incredible. I have around another 3st to get to a 'healthy' bmi but I'm quite happy to stop just a bit before that if needs be

Squirrelchops1 · 29/01/2026 07:13

3 stone in 12 months. Going from a large size 18 to size 14. I'm very happy. No saggy face and I've done regular weights to build muscle.
I'd like to drop about another stone or so. My BMI would be very slightly under 25 and about a size 12. I dont need to be smaller than that.
Im having to go back a step too. 10mg has given me the worst side effects I've had so I've dropped back to 7.5mg.

Thesofathatwas · 29/01/2026 07:15

OMG you are all AMAZING!!

It’s not really worked so well for me, I’ve lost just over a stone in 7 months.

Cairneyes · 29/01/2026 07:17

Eight stone in 12 months, down from size 26 to a 14, another stone to go and I will be very happy!

Gettingbysomehow · 29/01/2026 07:18

Congratulations everyone what fantastic weight losses. Ive lost 5 stone over a year.
I was size 20 now 10 to 12.
Its a game changer for sure.
I was a bit alarmed to hear about the poster who got pancreatic just short of goal though.
Is anyone hoing for skin removal surgery? Im going off in May to Lithuania for some tweaks.

sociallydistained · 29/01/2026 07:23

5 stone since I started January last year. Slow and steady but owe everything to the stuff!

Rather than going for surgery have you looked up autophagy? Many loose skin issues (lesser amounts obviously) can be rectified over time with fasting. I've read about great results and less invasive.

Sweetpea333 · 29/01/2026 07:27

Amazing. Well done everyone. I tried it twice and it made me so ill 😭

Woo383040 · 29/01/2026 07:29

2 stone 10 on Mounjaro and another 7lb before I started. I’ve gone from an obese bmi to just inside healthy. My highest dose was 6.25. I don’t really want to go higher for reasons I can’t actually explain, though I’d love to drop another 4-7lb. Otherwise so happy with the results. I’ve previously lost and gained the same 1.5 to 2 stone over many many years, but it’s always been such a struggle. I know how to diet, the Mounjaro just helped make to easier and more sustainable. Happy to stay on it indefinitely.

I don’t know. I don’t count calories.

You definitely should, losing 3 stone in 9 weeks suggests you are not fuelling your body properly.
