Wow! Just wow! If anyone had told me at the end of April last year that today I would stand on the scales on see a ‘9’ at the beginning, I would never have believed them!

Today also marks a 4 1/2 stone loss.

I have never seen a ‘9’ stone anything before- ever - I never weighed before having my first child. I got married when he was 3 months old at weighed exactly 10 stone. 33 years ago!!!!

10 stone was my original (unimaginable) goal, but I’m now aiming to get to 9 1/2.

I love MJ - can you tell? 😊😊😊😊😊😂❤️

BudgieMom · 09/02/2026 15:47

Week 40/41 update and its 2 off over the last 2 weeks. Just 8lbs to reach my goal of 9st 7 but going on holiday next week so that might cause a little hiccup. Well done to everyone on all the great losses and nsvs and hope you all have a great week 😊

dozywelshbird · 10/02/2026 08:48

wow, so many fab losses, too many to remember but well done @PeachSnail @PumpKim @cannyvalley @Zebracat @Nearlyhadenough @BudgieMom

so many people nearly at goal weight too 👏

1lb off for me this week, so that's 45lb in total - hurrah! I've well and truly managed to burst my plateau 😃
SW 204
CW 159
GW ??

No idea still what to set as GW, but I am excited to see if I can get my weight to start with a 10, I haven't seen that number for a VERY long time

Have a great week everyone 😁

Coventree · 11/02/2026 07:48

Great work maintaining healthy @Merlin23! And amazing work @Crunchymum to be at prev goal weight and being able to adjust that…wow, 8st bracket 🎉

Hi @cannyvalley, love the update and glad your attention can be on everything else but your weight these days!

Keep going @Zebracat, your husband hasn’t got the power of MJ and us cheerleading you on! You can catch him this year 😉

Great charity shopping and maintaining @Stasis26! Same on the shopping and for losing @PeachSnail! Great losses @dozywelshbird @BudgieMom @Nearlyhadenough 👏🌟🎉

Woo, great loss and fab to hear you’re back on track @PumpKim. Think we all need to shake things up a little bit now and again to settle back down.

Coventree · 11/02/2026 07:50

No change for me…again. Still hovering at 1lb off healthy bmi at 10st 5lbs…in awe of the 9s and 8s we’re seeing on here 🤩

@CoventreeYou'll get there! You've come so far!

Coffeeandallthebooks · 11/02/2026 08:07

Sorry to hear that Coventree, its frustrating when you're so close! But you've done so well, the 9's will be yours in no time!

I'm down a pound, so that's good news. But this week is hard, DH is away and I'm not well, and have solo doggie boot camp as our active 30+kg dog has to stay on lead during walks!
I hope the effort will benefit me in the long term, anyway!

Zebracat · 14/02/2026 09:53

81.5 today. Lost a whole kilo this week, joy.

Zebracat · 14/02/2026 11:17

Sorry, I was rushing out with the dog. Just realised that amounts to a 4 stone loss, and I’m in size 14 jeans. This feels like a momentous day.

Stasis26 · 14/02/2026 13:06

Wow fabulous news @Zebracat4 stone 🎉 well done!

So close @Coventreei am convinced somehow our bodies know we are at an arbitrary bmi threshold and stall right on the edge! Just keep on going and you’ll be under 25 in no time but you’ve already made such a big impact on your health.

@Coffeeandallthebooks@BudgieMomand @dozywelshbirdwell done too - I sometimes wish I had a dog to guilt me into moving more.

@Nearlyhadenoughim like that too now I am maintaining around 10. I fluctuate now between 9st12 and 10st2 and I do enjoy seeing that 9 and have to remind myself not to worry about the over 10st days as at the start of this I was hoping for 11st and 10st 7 was my hard to imagine, dream lowest that I had managed only once briefly since having kids. I last saw a 9 in my mid 20s before December.

also well done @PeachSnailand @PumpKimso glad things stared moving again for you again 🎉

Merlin23 · 14/02/2026 13:12

Well done @Zebracat 4 stone is a massive milestone. Size 14 is great too. It means every shop will have your size.

I have maintained again this week. Not quite sure how, as I have been getting through the Christmas chocolate at an alarming rate and helped eat hubby's Colin the Caterpillar cake.
I need to be more mindful when eating.
I joined the local leisure centre and went swimming. 20 lengths.
I am taking Nutrition geeks Collagen glow up. I have 3 months supply interested to see if it works to tighten skin. I'll keep you posted.
Have a great week everyone!

Stasis26 · 14/02/2026 13:32

I gave into being influenced against my better judgment and got the same powder and been taking it in morning coffee for a month @Merlin23. The logical thinking side of me knows that it’s probably snake oil as the body has to break down the collagen to use like any other protein but it’s an easy way to get extra protein in first thing in my coffee and I got a deal too so sticking with it for longer. Nothing to report so far.

Sounds similar. I bought 3 months worth as everything says it takes at least 8 weeks to work. Worth a try. 🤷‍♀️

PumpKim · 15/02/2026 13:22

Another 1.2lb off this week, but I realised last night that I forgot to jab on Wednesday. What an idiot I am 🙈 Not really feeling any worse for it so I think I'll skip and just get back in schedule on Wednesday.

I've been taking collagen since the beginning of my MJ journey, I started with Ancient &Brave and moved to Wellguard as it was cheaper. I can honestly say I haven't noticed a bit of difference. Then I watched this video and decided I was throwing my money away. I'll finish what I've got but have decided not to renew my subscription. If I see things go downhill I can always start again.

Zebracat · 15/02/2026 17:58

I bought 3 months supply of collagen, and found Icould not tolerate it in anything, and i5 put me off food I loved, couldn’t touch porridge or yoghurt for months.

That's a shame. I put it in my tea! It gives it a slight twang but it's bearable. What make did you buy?

StartingApril2025 · 15/02/2026 19:32

Hi ladies and gents! So nice to check in and see everyone’s progress. I’m still on 5mg , one more ( golden dose) before I move to 2.5mg. I am sitting at 11.1-11.2 mostly now and have been the last month. Would love to see a 10 on the scale but doubtful that will happen. My sweet cravings are here and I’m trying my best to resist however failing daily! I am going to use upcoming Lent as a practice to try and cut out chocolate out of my life again. We will see.
I am taking a dose every 10 days and to be honest feel little different on the first few days compared to the last. Will be interesting how 2.5mg goes.. my willpower will need exercised! We have a holiday coming up just after the 1 year mounjaro anniversary so i anticipate I will be on 2.5mg for another few months to see me through. Despise the idea of gaining all this weight again, or even any!

in terms of supplements I haven’t taken any collagen or anything through this however will start berbarine once I end the medication I think. total lost has been 4stone and 4 pounds and just inside the very upper bracket of normal bmi, by about a pound!
well done to each of your journey to date and for sharing with us , I’ve found this thread a great support!
anyone else nervous about the tapering down and stopping ( at some point)? it’s as nerve wracking as starting to me!

BudgieMom · 16/02/2026 07:03

Week 43 update and its 1.5 off taking me into the 9s and a bmi of 24.7!!! Took my jab a day early this morning as we are off to disney paris in a couple of hours 😁😁 we'll done everyone on the great losses and hope you all have an awesome week 😊

Stasis26 · 16/02/2026 07:20

Congrats @BudgieMomwhat a fab way to start your holiday have fun. I went to a theme park recently and it’s a wonderful NSV feeling how much more confortable the seats and harnesses feel at a smaller size 🥳

And well done @StartingApril2025great to hear how you are getting on and congrats on normal BMI 🥳

@Merlin23 it was nutrition geeks. I tried it in drinks first, just couldn’t drink it. But I’ve always hated dense, claggy textures, so I don’t think there’s any way round. And I gave it to a friend who was very happy with it.

PeachSnail · 17/02/2026 08:33

Argh - blinkin well put on 0.5kg last week! But I did have a tasty Indian takeaway on the weekend 😏

Plus, exercise has fallen by the wayside as I've been feeling a bit ill + been busier with work.

Feels like I've been battling to get past the 68kg point for a couple of months now! Hopefully I'll properly manage it over the next couple of weeks 🤞🏻

Hoping some spring sunshine might help give me a lift and spur me on! 🌞🌷🌤️🌱🌼

dozywelshbird · 17/02/2026 09:46

well done @Zebracat and @PumpKim and @Coffeeandallthebooks and @BudgieMom

so close @Coventree , fingers crossed you get there this week
@PeachSnail that'll soon be off, hope you break the plateau soon 😀

@StartingApril2025 so close as well, it sounds like we have very similar stats as the top end on my healthy BMI is 11stone exactly. good luck seeing a 10, that's my aim too

had a pretty shitty week job wise and with extended family, which meant I didn't eat very much, which has meant another loss, but I'm hoping things improve this week.

I have nutrition geeks collagen and I put in my coffee every morning, I've not ever noticed a taste or texture with it as agree, that would put me off it too? whether its helping I don't really know 🤔but unlike my friend who hasn't taken it from the start my hair looks pretty good, I've been lucky not to lose too much.

Anyway, I hope everyone has a great week

That's a shame. I put it in my morning cup of tea and it tastes a bit meaty but not unbearable!
I've started swimming too hoping that will help tighten the skin up too!

Coventree · 18/02/2026 07:37

I AM HEALTHY!!!

After 24 consecutive days of weighing in 1lb over my healthy bmi (whereas I’d steadily lost virtually every day since we started MJ), I’ve finally shifted a whopping 2lbs overnight and dropped down into healthy! Over 5st lost now 🎉

SW: 15st 4lbs
CW: 10st 3lbs
GW: ‘below 10st’ - maybe 9st 7lbs

I had planned to come off the MJ, but that plateau made me realise I still need the support so I have given in and bought another pen.

Well done all on the losses and maintaining of healthy habits 🎉🎉🎉
