Friday weigh in
SW 202lbs
CW 116lbs
Loss 86lbs

After a slight gain after the holiday I have now lost it and more so I am now lighter than before my holiday and at my all time low.
I am now taking mj every 8-10 days and I am going to start going down 1 click at a time. I have 2 - 5mg pens and 1 - 7.5mg pen. I don't want to buy anymore.

My deputy manager at work had a long chat with me this week as she has started Wegovy. She can't believe how much her appetite had dropped and now understands and little of what I have been doing and I will support her too. It is so nice to be able to have honest conversations.

Have a great weekend everyone!

dozywelshbird · 29/05/2026 10:01

Crunchymum · 29/05/2026 20:11

Hello all,

I'm still lurking (and maintaining) on 10mg and plan to titrate down after our summer holiday in August.

Was 114lbs last week - I'd lost 2lbs - not sure how. Felt like I was eating enough to maintain 116lbs. We're just back from a week away [and I didn't take my MJ this week] and I have my period so I expect a significant gain. Will weigh in tomorrow just to see where I am.

I'm feeling a bit flat with it all now. I know I'll probably never be able to stop completely but I do want to get down to a much lower dose.

Had a lovely week away in my size 10 (M&S!!) trousers and my fitted t-shirts.

Reason I mention M&S is I've seen on S&B forum people saying they now need to size up in M&S.

Still can't figure out my bra size though and can't find anywhere local to measure.

Glad to hear everyone has been able to enjoy the weather with less weight. We were on the coast so wasn't too bad but I can't believe I used to do the heat weighing 5st more than I do now.

Zebracat · 30/05/2026 13:23

78.8 today, soa small gain of 300 grams. I’m not concerned, think it’s just a normal variation. I am active and eating well, but I think hot weather has led to some water retention

wendywoopywoo222 · 30/05/2026 21:22

Great updates everyone, small gains on holiday are to be expected. It’s how we deal with it when we get home. Old me would have still been overeating and think I will lose it again before my next holiday. New me has lost the ten pounds I put on and lost another pound since. 13 stone 13. That’s ten pounds to my target which will be a ten stone total loss. 7 stone 10 on monjaro.

I have upped my exercise to include running and having only ever been on 2.5 monjaro which I’m now taking every other week. Not sure that I still need to take it but get scared after two weeks that I will wake up tomorrow and will go back to my old eating habits. 🤔🤔🤔

BudgieMom · 01/06/2026 20:03

Week 57 update! 0.5lb off taking me to 4st 6.5 off with MJ and 6st 8.5 in total 😍 Might get to my pre baby weight by the time we go on holiday at the end of the month and the baby is 10 next month 🤣 Hope everyone has a great week ☺️

Coventree · 03/06/2026 07:51

Lovely updates everyone as we navigate hot weather and holidays! And losing that baby weight @BudgieMom 😉

I’m titrating down to come off the MJ - have come down from 7.5mg at the end of April and have probably two 2.5mg doses left. Will take one later today and then the plan is that’s it after next week’s final dose 😮. I’ve noticed I’m less inclined to skip one meal a day than I was and I’m eating more, but it’s still good, healthy food (i.e. bigger salads, a few spoonfuls of yoghurt with no added sugar muesli for afters) so it doesn’t seem to be affecting my weight although I’m monitoring closely. I hit healthy bmi at end of Jan (10st 5), reached the top of my healthy buffer end of March (10st - the line in the sand I never want to go above again!), and have consistently remained between 9st 7 and 9st 9 since early May. Apart from special occasions, no bread, no crisps and no chocolate seems to be working for me as a general rule and I hope that can continue once I’m off the MJ. Could this be my life and way of eating now? I hope so!

Nearlyhadenough · 04/06/2026 10:48

@BudgieMom I’ve lost my baby weight- he’s only 34 today 😂😂😂

wendywoopywoo222 · 04/06/2026 17:15

Nearlyhadenough · 04/06/2026 10:48

@BudgieMom I’ve lost my baby weight- he’s only 34 today 😂😂😂

😂😂. That’s fabulous.

slightlysmallerPoisonIvy · 04/06/2026 19:33

I hit -75lbs today 😃🎉

@Coventree eeeks final dose is a scary thought! Good luck, hope it goes well and the weight stays off. Please keep us updated on how it feels when it's fully out of your system

@Nearlyhadenough 😂well done! better late than never!

@BudgieMom that's a big milestone, fingers crossed for you!

StartingApril2025 · 04/06/2026 20:47

@slightlysmallerPoisonIvy 75lbs wow!!
@Coventree in the same boat re final
doses… It’ been 10 days since my last 2.5mg so iv just taken 1.25mg 30 clicks, same next week and think maybe have enough for a further week then that’ll be me done 😬 more nervous about stopping that I was starting I think!!!
@BudgieMom what an incredible weight loss you’ve had, amazing!!!

Stasis26 · 05/06/2026 07:02

@wendywoopywoo222 great to hear you enjoyed all the good things on your holiday - including lovely food and also exercise - 9stone must be totally life changing so happy you can enjoy your holiday and do so much more but also realise it possibly to have the nice food, (probably much less without trying) without feeling bad about it. Same for @Merlin23with that tiny gain on holiday that’s already reversed. And @Scousebloke- your travel sounds amazing and you must be enjoying it more - I’m so pleased they kept prescribing it for you - it’s nice that we have at least one NHS success story on our whole thread! That’s probably about the right ratio so far to reflect UK use still sadly 1 in 100s! @StartingApril2025Hope losing tour holiday gain is going smoothly, sounds like you really enjoyed it and now that we are all smaller it’s just not that big a deal, you know it’s fine to rectify when you get home and how lovely that you felt confident and happy for the photos.

@Coventreeisnright I used to he obsessively on here and other Mj pages every day but it’s naturally become less frequent since plodding along maintaining. Still lots of us around though!

@dozywelshbird ice not got a bee pen but the pen design for extracting any dose is exactly the same there is just less of it due to a spacer inside meaning the plunger is higher at the start. I presume you could still use a syringe to get the small remaining fluid out after 4th dose.

glad you got some advice @Zebracat I’m totally blase about split dosing these days, sounds like it would be fine.

@BudgieMomboucninf around target just becomes a way of life now! I still weigh most days to keep me on track and wobble up and down above and below 10stone. I no longer get at all bothered when it’s the higher wobble. I’m up here too but you jinxed us with the weather comment - west of central belt, Weathers been awful after that brief moment of summer - so annoying as I got new smaller shorts !

finally well done @Crunchymum@BudgieMomand @slightlysmallerPoisonIvyfor your recent losses - and 75lb is an amazing total so far poisonivy well done!!!

I have stuck with my 2mg per week dosing schedule to make my last couple of pens (5mg) last as long as possible. I am a bit undecided about whether to stop completely to see how it feels but will order 2.5 from Swift in early autumn and then for a few months to make sure I am back in the system, losing access scares me.

Happy Friday everyone!!

Zebracat · 06/06/2026 12:09

Lovely updates.
77.9 today, so a 900 gram loss, even though I’ve actually been a bit lax. I don’t think I managed the split dose well and I was so hungry, but I have been very active and that seems to be what my body needs. Every time I dip into a new kilo or stone (rare!) it gives me a little push to keep it there, so here’s hoping.

PumpKim · 07/06/2026 10:02

I've accidentally been MIA for a while, didn't realise how much time had passed since my last check in.

Still in weight loss mode, slowly chipping away. 2lb off this week, but stayed the same last week, so I'm keeping with the 1lb a week consistency. I just don't think my body is capable of big whooshes.

8lb away from a healthy BMI now. I definitely want to get there, but also feel like I need to be in the middle of healthy to be 'safe'. Then I look in the mirror and think, you look ok actually, so maybe don't need to go much further. Decisions decisions.

Still enjoying my exercise classes, and I look slim in gym wear, which is insanely satisfying 🤣

dozywelshbird · 07/06/2026 19:25

Thanks for the info @Stasis26 😁

BudgieMom · 08/06/2026 16:35

Week 58 and its 1.5lb off ☺️ I think I might look at decreasing the dose on my next jab down from 7.5 to 6.25 and see where I go from there. My appetite is still pretty much suppressed all week on this dose and its making it harder to maintain. Well done everyone on your losses and nsvs and I hope you all have a great week!

Zebracat · 10/06/2026 09:14

Oh wow @BudgieMom , I really wish I had your problems, strong suppression on 6.5 and a 1.5 loss when trying to maintain. I’m on 15 and struggling to not have icecream daily.

BudgieMom · 10/06/2026 09:29

@Zebracat my sister really struggles st the top doses aswell shes been on MJ 2yrs. It hasn't always been like that for me the 2.5 worked well but the 5 was like injecting water. Its only really since I decided to switch to maintenance the weigh has dropped quicker before that I had alot of maintains and some small gains this week has probably been a fluke.

Zebracat · 10/06/2026 09:43

Oh that’s interesting. I’m a stone off goal, but really wanted my current pen to be the last at 15. Maybe I’ll drop down and plan to still lose.

Coffeeandallthebooks · 10/06/2026 10:33

It's quite interesting how different people find suppression even on the same dose.

I've been split dosing 12.5 twice a week, but I've caught a bug and only jabbed after 10 days, changing to a single dose of 10. I've felt really high suppression after switching off 10mg which is surprising because it wasn't effective any more last month.

It's made me a bit more hopeful I can move down doses and I'm going to see if I can continue on 10 until I'm at goal.

Now a wee bit closer as I weighed 9st 13lbs this morning, first time ever under 10 stone! 6lbs to go until goal, and I wore a skirt with no shorts and no thigh chafe at the weekend, which was just such a lovely NSV!

AbundanceofKatherines · 10/06/2026 15:23

My thoughts on taking a break (with a bit of history for context):

I went up to 5mg after 4 weeks (as advised by my prescriber) but found it quite strong so moved down to 3.5 and gradually increased. Spent a good few months on 5, then moved up to 6, with my highest dose being 6.25.

I went cold turkey mid November - I had just had enough of injecting and was getting a bit jittery about long term use, plus, as I was at a healthy weight, I thought it would be okay to stop.

I did okay for a few weeks, then Christmas hit and I put on a few pounds.

In January I decided to start again and restarted on 2.5. The suppression was immediate and I lost the gained weight - and more - very quickly. I revised my goal weight (from 8st 10 to 8st 7 - I’m 5’3” and quite small framed) and have stayed there, with a little bobbling up and down, ever since. I’m still taking 2.5 weekly - no plans to stop at the mo.

Taking six weeks off and then restarting definitely seemed to recalibrate my response and I would recommend trying it. We’re in this for the long term, so a couple of months without a loss might not be so bad if it gets things moving again?

I don’t know really, just idle musings. I appreciate it’s easy for me to say as I’m at goal.

On another note, I’m off on holiday next week. Was just clearing out the motorhome to get it ready and came across some size 14 labels. I had bought new clothes just before we went last year as my size 16s were looking a bit loose. This year I’m in size 8s. What a change! It’s so much easier to move around the motorhome as a small person! Plus I am so much stronger (from all the Body Pump and yoga) that getting in & out of the van and up and down from the bed are now a doddle. (Having a lot less bulk to move around probably helps too!)

Keep on keeping on , Kat x

Zebracat · 10/06/2026 15:28

That is so encouraging. I was kind of feeling there was nowhere to go with this.

Zebracat · 13/06/2026 09:40

77.7 today. 200 gram loss. I was again a bit lax, but suppression has kicked in big time after injecting on Thursday, so now doing better. I am really craving meat though- unusual for me, I normally have meat once or twice a week, can take it or leave it. Wonder if I might be a bit anaemic? Has this happened to anyone else

dozywelshbird · 13/06/2026 14:46

146 this morning, another 1lb down 😁 58 lb total loss

@Zebracat I hope you give in to your craving, I'm craving cake so gonna treat myself later... I only ever crave unhealthy things 🤔

BudgieMom · 16/06/2026 10:05

Week 59 and a maintain which I'm happy about never thought I would say that 🤣 We go on holiday next Friday so I will keep my dose the same until we come home and then re-evaluate from there. Naturally when we are away there will be less calorie counting and a couple drinks here and there so I will see how that goes! Hope everyone has a great week ☺️
