80.6 today , so a small loss of 300 gms, but I’ve been around this weight for weeks now. Desperate to be under 80. Not likely this week as I’m off on holiday. Just hope I make it by our one year anniversary.

StartingApril2025 · 28/03/2026 13:38

Morning! Nice to hear everyone news, amazing how well everyone is doing. I’m still hovering around the same 2 pounds for maybe 4 months now so definitely at my natural set point, still on 2.5 and despite some days feeling extra hungry it’s going ok.
I hear what you are all saying about clothes and brain not catching up, I have very few clothes but equally I get the fear shopping, still don’t want arms etc out or think I could wear a sleeveless top however will need to buy some things for summer as I rotate a very small amount of clothes daily now. I think if I toned up and did some more exercise I would feel better!

Good morning, weigh in today and it's 0.9lb off. Still plodding but I'll get there.

I've had a massive wardrobe clear out this week, sold some things that I love and it was hard to do but they're far too big for me and I never want them to fit again. I've made £170 on Vinted this week so I'll be reinvesting in some smaller pieces.
@Hawkmoth I've done similar to you, sold a staple denim skirt that I loved in a size 18 and re-bought the same one in a 12!

I must admit although I've still got a fair way to go to be in healthy BMI I am happy with how I look in clothes (not so happy with the naked wobbly bits 🥴). Now that I'm wearing clothes that fit, I can look in the mirror and know that I wouldn't be described as fat and I've had loads of people comment on my weight loss recently so that's making me feel good. I actually feel confident in how I look for the first time in years.

Still attending my exercise classes and enjoying it, so intend to keep on with that healthy habit, plus I'm tied into my membership for a year so there's a financial incentive too 😁

Well done everyone on the NSV’s and weight losses!!! Have a fab week!!

slightlysmallerPoisonIvy · 29/03/2026 19:15

well done on all the great losses and nsvs!

I hit the 5stone mark this week, after thinking I was done losing a few weeks ago that was a nice surprise!

PeachSnail · 30/03/2026 09:05

Happy Monday 👋🏻
Weighed in this morning and was shocked to discover I'd lost 0.8kg! I've plateaued at ~68kg for months... But I was 67.05kg this morning. I don't have any explanation for it 😂
I actually went 11 days without jabbing last week and then lowered my dose to 2.33mg, which is the lowest I've ever jabbed 🤷🏻‍♀️
Anyway, I'll probably be back to ~68kg next week, so I won't get too excited 😆
Hope everyone has a good week

I had an appointment at John Lewis today with a personal stylist. It was so good. She said that she is hearing stories like ours all the time. She told me everything I was wearing was wrong.
I wanted an outfit for my son's graduation. She found me some lovely fitted trousers and a blouse both in a size 8.
Then she got me some jeans and a few more tops. A pair of trainers.
I have come home and gone through everything and decided what to keep and what to take back. I have found some similar items from similar brands on Vinted.
I also have a friend who works a M&S she is going to order the jeans for me and use her discount. So I can save some money.

All in all it was a great experience, with no obligation to buy, it made me look at my shape in a new way.
Her last words to me were tuck your clothes in. I am so used to hiding I wear baggy clothes.

As a Tom boy I was so out of my comfort zone.
It has cost a lot of money but I will be getting half the money back and now have more confidence to shop.

Well done 👏👏👏👏👏

thank you @wendywoopywoo222 😊

great loss @PeachSnail !

@Merlin23 that sound like a very positive shopping experience, it's so hard to know how to dress a completely different shape, I'll keep john lewis in mind for the future, thanks for the review

Happy April you lovely lot! Well done on the recent successes losing, maintaining and improving health in all sorts of ways. Can you believe there is another April thread now - we are approaching our first anniversary! 🥳 it’s strange thinking back to this time last year when I was so unsure, reading about it mounjaro but so apprehensive. Changed everything 😃

OP posts:
wendywoopywoo222 · 01/04/2026 13:25

I was wracked with nerves this time last year. Watching my partner losing weight with his prescription for Diabetes. I can’t believe how different life is a year on. Ive joined a running club and doing couch 2 5k and parkrun. Clubbersize, spinning and Pilates. I am someone who hasn’t exercised since I was forced to at school and I left 44 years ago. I’ve been firmly in the obese range for over 35 years and I still am but only a few pounds to get to overweight. I have one pound to go to hit 7 stone and I hope to do that before the 24th which will be a year. Well done everyone. 👏 👏 xx

Coventree · 02/04/2026 08:24

Lost one of my extra 2lbs this week 🎉 . Still in my healthy zone buffer so just going with the flow!

Good work @Merlin23 @Crunchymum @Hawkmoth @dozywelshbird @Zebracat @StartingApril2025 @PumpKim @BeachBodyAim @slightlysmallerPoisonIvy @PeachSnail @Stasis26 @wendywoopywoo222- keep up the maintaining / losing as we near our anniversary! I get the comments about our minds needing to catch up with our new bodies and also adjusting to what to wear, particularly with summer on the horizon - I think the suit of loose skin I feel like I’m wearing now over my bones is causing new considerations over the sleeves/no sleeves dilemma! Good problems to have though.

(I have no answer to your calculations issue though @Crunchymum as I get the same answers as you 😂)

AbundanceofKatherines · 02/04/2026 09:36

Morning everyone and well done on the losing/maintaining.

I’m bobbling around in my maintenance zone - up a kg, down a kg. Lots of loose and wrinkly skin. But looking fine dressed. Ran a half marathon at the weekend in a very respectable time, so v happy.

My hair is growing back! When I put it up I have a cute little 1 inch fringe 😂

Crunchymum · 03/04/2026 08:40

Happy Friday all,

After weeks and weeks of losing a 0.5lbs a week or maintaining I had a -2lbs loss this week!! Which puts me almost bang on my revised goal weight. I'm currently 119.5lbs / 8st 7.5lbs with 68lbs lost.

Tempted to go for a final revised GW of 117.5 as then I'd have lost exactly 5st but officially that's me maintaining now. I'm still on 10mg so want to move down in time. Although food noise was a problem this week so I'm extra surprised I lost anything, let alone 2lbs.

Well done to everyone else still plodding and losing and to those maintaining and even deciding to stop with the MJ altogether (if any of those posters still come on here). What a year we've had.

I feel like I always moan here and I promise that I am so much happier and content and confident that I was a year ago but I have serious imposter syndrome - I am not thin, but I'm a healthy weight and it's really hard to get used to. First world problems hey?

My other nagging concern is for me MJ has just treated the symptoms (being fat) and not the cause. I'm pretty sure left to my own devices I'd be fat again eventually. So plenty of work to be done on my emotional weightloss even if I'm "there" with my physical weightloss.

On to happier things now though - I always promised myself a mini shopping spree when I got to GW (I even have an old Pinterest board of "GW outfits" that is so old it's out of style now). What shall I buy?

I'm a Vinted and Highstreet shopper and still can't get my head round some of the expensive brands I see on the S&B forum but I still currently live in leggings, long vests and some kind of top or jumper. I still opt for baggy too and I still have a wee bit of a tummy.

What are all the healthy weight people wearing now? 😆

Weigh in day!
SW 202lbs 14st 6lbs
CW 117lbs 8st 5lbs
Total loss 85lbs
BMI 21.4
SBMI 36.9

Happy maintenance! I am happy where I am but if I drop a little that is fine as I've got a very big holiday in May.
@Crunchymum I hear you about treating the symptoms, I'm so frightened to come off. I am now down to 3.75mg but looking to drop again this week.
I am hungrier but at this moment I can control it.

Clothes wise. I had my appointment with John Lewis and it was really helpful. The personal stylist explained to me what to wear to show off my new shape, she told me no more baggy hide it all clothes. Tuck tops in, I have never been a tuck it in person.
I have ordered lots off vinted this week after her advice on what to buy.
It is so hard after dressing to hide my body all my adult life.

Happy Easter everyone. I never thought a year ago I would be a size 8-10 from 20-22

Coventree · 03/04/2026 09:35

Fab updates @AbundanceofKatherines @Crunchymum and @Merlin23 🌟

Clothes-wise, the Style Me Happy online services have helped me. I did the colour analysis first, (which kind of confirmed what I already knew), but getting the shape definition was useful, and combining the two has given me ‘rules’ to keep in mind i.e. for tops and dresses, I need v-necks, wrap tops, definition under/around the bust, and to avoid drop-shoulders, puff sleeves etc that don’t define my shoulders. For bottoms, I need high-waisted, more tailored at the top, then wide-leg/bootcut legs. All in a soft autumn palette. Knowing all this means I can walk through somewhere like Sainsburys/H&M/browse Vinted and immediately discard things that don’t fit the rules before looking to see what I do like. Makes it less overwhelming.

SMH also sell new season pdfs for each shape and colour palette combo, available with or without links to buy the clothes - I find these less useful for the cost of them so don’t tend to bother.

And definitely tuck tops as Merlin says - get used to showing your new shape and not hiding under baggy clothes 😁

Merlin23 · 03/04/2026 10:54

I've shared this before but I think it's is a very useful tool now we are all much smaller.
Put your measurements in and it tells you your dress size in high street stores
https://sizes.darkgreener.com/

I find this really useful

What Size Am I?

Find your exact dress size in a range of US and UK high-street stores by entering your measurements. See how you relate to the different cuts used in different stores: Gap sizes, Banana Republic sizes, ASOS sizes.

Good Morning everyone. Weigh in today after a holiday in Denmark, where the portion sizes are massive and fat and sugar feature much more often than fruit and veg. 80.9 kilos. That’s a 300 gram gain, which seems ok, and might even be gone by tomorrow as I have swollen ankles from the plane. I felt I coped quite well in challenging circumstances. And we walked a lot, which also helps.

Well done that’s outstanding. I’ve not had a holiday away yet so not sure I will cope so well. X

Seahawk80 · 04/04/2026 21:11

Hi everyone! Sorry I’ve been MIA. Work has been crazy and I’ve had to have a break from MJ as I had a terrible stomach ache a couple of times. I was worried it was gallstones but have been fine recently. Good news is I’ve maintained for a few months easily even with work stress and a holiday. @Zebracati know what you mean about sugar and fat - I went to Norway and finding lunch was so hard in Tromso, seemed to be pizza or cake! @wendywoopywoo222I’ve also been doing parkrun and it’s such a great atmosphere, so
supportive . I got a PB
today!

I’ve lost over 3 stone and am so much thinner, fitter and happier now! My BMI is still overweight but I’m 5’1” so it’s always a struggle. I would like to get below 9st and think I will restart MJ after my upcoming trip and see how I go. My skin is quite loose and at some point I may have to make a choice - “arse or face”! But I definitely to lose a bit more and at least get under 10st.

i have caught up on the thread and love the stories and losses / maintenance and NSVs. Keep it up everyone!

Happy Easter! Wee update from the last 3 weeks so I was 2lbs off today which makes it 2.5lbs over the last 3 weigh ins. That takes me to 4st 1.5lbs off on MJ and 6st 4.5 in total 😱 looking back at pics from last easter and its like a whole other person! I hope everyone is having a great easter weekend and we'll done to everyone's losses and nsvs 😊

Coventree · 08/04/2026 08:34

3lbs off this week 🎉. Currently a healthy 9st 9lbs, one full 5mg pen left to start today, hoping to get to 9st 7lbs in this next month, and then planning to come off the MJ after that 😮.

Hope the very slight holiday gain has disappeared @Zebracat, great maintaining @Seahawk80, amazing total loss @BudgieMom 🎉🎉🎉

Keep going everyone 🌟

dozywelshbird · 09/04/2026 13:53

Well done everyone 😀 so many losses and people getting to goal!

1lb off for me this week, taking me to 10st 12 and 52lbs I'm total 😁 I am in Healthy BMI now but I think I want to try and get down to 10st if I can. Will see how I get on

StartingApril2025 · 09/04/2026 16:24

Wow I’m amazed at those of you who are still losing multiple pounds each week almost a year on! Well done!
’ I’ve sat at the same weight for months (5 months) and maintaining on 2.5mg however I think now iv sat here a few months I would actually like to loose a bit more as the size 12 is I am is fine but I think I could lose a bit more. Equally I need to exercise more and tone up more too as that would help the general appearance too. I’m just not that happy with how I look. My bmi is 24.5 so still on the top end. I have another full 2.5mg pen and 3 weeks left of it so wonder would my provider allow me to go back up even though my weight is stable and has been. A year ago if you said I’d be this weight a year on id have been delighted but now I’m here I could maybe go a bit lower. Or maybe my focus should be on an intense exercise programme and stay at the 2.5mg. So hard to know.
you lot inspire me loads seeing posts of everyone successes, fabulous that we have all got on so well a year later!

Crunchymum · 10/04/2026 08:35

After an unexpected -2lbs last week, I'm +1.5lbs this week.

Period is due within a few days so I'm hoping it's that. Although it's been Easter and my week off work so I've not been eating as healthily as usual.

I don't want to be someone who obsesses over a lb here and there but I do seem to gain quite easily.

I'm still on 10mg as well. Dread to think what would be happening if I had reduced already.

I need to do some research as 10mg seems a high dose to maintain on (as well as expensive) but I don't feel I can go much lower 😕

Did anyone ever go higher than 10mg? Is anyone still using 10mg?

Hoping once the kids go back next week I can get myself back in track.
