well done @Zebracat @BeachBodyAim @Coventree @violetmondays @wendywoopywoo222

@violetmondays great NSV! but let's leave the low rise jeans in the past where they belong please!

Zebracat · 19/03/2026 09:11

I’m decorating this week. Yesterday I had so much to do that I got through on sugar, ate crap - hot cross buns, pastry, almond slices and chocolate. I felt really unwell all evening. I’m so cross with myself. I don’t even like that stuff, my Dh gets it, although the buns were mine. Scales showed a gain of over a pound.
Lesson learnt, hopefully.

dozywelshbird · 20/03/2026 10:03

wow, some amazing losses, well done everyone Flowers
sounds like you are getting right back on track @violetmondays i really struggled on 5mg for reasons I don't know, just didn't seem to have the food aversion and lost hardly anything, as soon as I moved to 7.5mg it all got back on track, maybe try increasing a little bit more?

@Zebracat its easily done but you know that gain will soon be off.

I haven't posted for a few weeks as I've been having an awful time with jobs etc, which clearly is a good thing for weight loss as I've lost 4lbs since I last logged on (2nd March) bringing my total loss now to 49lbs, I am just 1lb away from getting into healthy BMI but looking to get another 7ish lbs off I think?

Happy Friday everyone, hope you all are enjoying the spring sunshine 🌞

Zebracat · 20/03/2026 12:02

@dozywelshbird Healthy bmi one pound away? Wow, amazing, I hope you feel proud.
I think I’m a stone and a half away from that, but I am within 2 kilos of my dhs weight, which is my next target. It’s his birthday today, we've already had french toast and rocky road, and a meal out tonight , but I don’t care. I’ve worked so hard this week, and I forgot to jab! Back on track tomorrow but then we are off on holiday. I’ll do my best to be sensible then.

dozywelshbird · 21/03/2026 06:33

Enjoy the birthday celebrations and holiday @Zebracat

I'm now wanting some french toast 😋

wendywoopywoo222 · 21/03/2026 07:38

Well done everyone 💐. I’ve learnt so much from you all and love the NSVs. I was 14 13 on the scales this morning 😍. Been a long time since I’ve started with a 14.

Starting my day with park run in the sun. I walk and am in the last few to finish but it’s a fabulous way to start the weekend.
Not long until it’s been a year. And what a change from last year.

Coffeeandallthebooks · 21/03/2026 10:30

Well done @wendywoopywoo222 it's a great feeling to go down a stone bracket, and I'm so impressed at you doing park run!

Back down to 10st 8 after gaining with a very indulgent Mothers Day feast, so hopefully I can make more progress before the end of March.
But I am not feeling it today. I am very tired and just want coffee but we are getting a new washing machine and DH is moving the old one, in between me and the coffee. He likes to live dangerously!

Zebracat · 21/03/2026 12:00

80.9 today , a gain of 200 grams. I’ll take that after a complete fall off the wagon week, when I actually forgot to do the injection. I ate a lot of sugar, but think it doesn’t count as I really didn’t enjoy it, just needed to keep my energy levels up as decorating the bedroom went horribly wrong. Last night we went out for Keralan fish curry,. I think this mornings gain may just be salt leading to water retention. And I have done the jab. Got quite a difficult weekend with lots of awkward social stuff, but I think I’ll be ok. Love to all especially @wendywoopywoo222 , getting to the 14s felt great to me.

Merlin23 · 21/03/2026 21:59

@wendywoopywoo222
Park run! Very impressive!
I wish I could honour running. Consultant says no as I have arthritis in my foot.
However I did jog last week to get past the football crowds. It felt good but I don't want to damage my foot any more.

We are having a short break in Madeira and I have walked up the hills without feeling it. I love getting to the top and feeling like I can keep going.

Weight is staying the same so that's really good.

Well done everyone on another great week!

slightlysmallerPoisonIvy · 21/03/2026 23:19

@wendywoopywoo222 another one impressed by you doing park run! We are almost exactly the same weight and I agree hitting the 14s felt good!

Merlin23 · 22/03/2026 08:14

Don't know where the word honour came from in my last post.
I meant to say go back to running.
I did the couch25k about 7 years ago. I think I would find it easier now but arthritis says nooooo! 😥

PumpKim · 22/03/2026 10:46

Morning all, haven't checked in for a while as there wasn't much to report, my progress was non-existent! Until now. 1.3lb lost this week. Halleluja 🙌

Well done to everyone whether that be maintenance, losses or plodding 😉

It's been a weird up and down week weight wise, fluctuating as much as 2lb, but then got my period yesterday so that probably explains it. I take the weekly average so I'm confident that my loss is real and not just another fluctuation.

I've also rejoined my local leisure centre and for the last few weeks I've been doing about four classes a week. Mixture of aqua, bums and tums and yoga. Really enjoying it, even though my bendiness leaves a lot to be desired, but it's all about the improvement ❤️ 🧘‍♀️

I didn’t expect to hit the 14s as set my target at 16. Targets now at 13 3 but the closer I get the more I think I could go lower. What are you thoughts about targets ?

slightlysmallerPoisonIvy · 22/03/2026 23:51

I didn't expect to get this far either!
My ultimate goal weight is under 200lbs, I'm currently 207.5 / 14st 10.5lb

great loss! @PumpKim

PeachSnail · 23/03/2026 09:35

Weighed in at 67.95kg this morning. Managing to maintain at target after a couple of weeks on 2.5mg every 10 days. Working well so far! 🙌🏻

Merlin23 · 23/03/2026 10:53

@wendywoopywoo222
Targets are good as long as you know when to stop.
My target was 11stone
Then it was 10 stone 7lbs
Then it was 10 stone and so on. I am now 8stone 7lbs. I now am my smallest ever so I have now stopped! But targets can be moved!

PeachSnail · 23/03/2026 11:43

@wendywoopywoo222I've actually revised up my target. It was originally 65kg (mid-point of my healthy BMI), but I plateaued at 68kg for ages and then realised that I'm now a size 10 and pretty happy being this size. It's all a question of what feels happy, healthy and sustainable for you, I reckon!

Coventree · 25/03/2026 07:59

Oh dear, 2lbs on this week 😳. But I know why (hosted a hen do Sat night and there was loads of party food that got left so I’ve been hoovering up crisps and doughnuts and breadsticks, all the sorts of things I no longer have on a regular basis). But I’m still in my ‘healthy bmi’ buffer zone, so no need to panic or fall down a rabbit hole, I just need to get back to healthy eating and ride it out. I’m feeling calm and in control - this is my new way of dealing with the ups and downs of living life 😊

Carry on being healthy to inspire me, everyone else!

Merlin23 · 25/03/2026 08:05

Back from a four night trip to Madeira!
Got on the scales this morning and I am 1 lb down on last week so keeping in my zone.

120lbs today
I ate nice food but walked at least 7 miles each day.

@Coventree
You'll get that off in a week of healthy habits. No stress it's just 2lbs of fun.

Merlin23 · 27/03/2026 09:35

Weigh in day today
Back to my lowest.
CW 119lbs 8st 7lbs
SW 202lbs 14st 6lbs
Total loss 83lbs 5st 13lbs

Happy to maintain!

Crunchymum · 27/03/2026 15:42

Hello all,

Glad to see some of us are still plodding along. It's my 48th week this week. Not long to go until we'll all be hitting the 1 year mark. What a different life I am living now. No more spending hours in front of the mirror trying to find my most forgiving clothes. No more buying size 18/20, no more having to layer up and cover up. I always felt more "protected" under layers of clothing, even though that must have made me look even bigger.

I suppose my only gripe is that I wish I felt more worthy? My mind hasn't caught up with my body. In some ways I still feel like that awkward, fat dumpling I was for so many years. It's something I need to work on. I feel like I'm in my chrysalis stage at the moment.

My loss has really stalled but as I'm basically at GW, I'm not fussed. I've lost 1.5lbs in a month and currently weigh 121.5lbs (5ft 1in / BMI bang on 23). I've lost a massive 4st 7lbs. I'm pretty much done now.

As an aside i'm not sure why my calculations aren't making sense. I weighed 8st 9.5lb this morning so 8x14 +9.5 = 121.5 but when you put it into a converter 121.5lbs = 8st 7lbs?

I've always been using the former method to calculate so I'll continue that way.

Well done everyone who is still here and plugging away. We really have achieved so much. I couldn't, wouldn't and will never go back!

Hawkmoth · 27/03/2026 17:51

@Crunchymum I know what you mean about the brain not catching up. I've lost over a third of my bodyweight and apart from clothes and saggy bits I don't feel much different.

I am enjoying the clothes though. From size 20 to 14 in jeans and still going. Some beautiful jumpers will not see another winter with me though. In fact, one in a size 18 that I loved so much has just been replaced with a 14 that arrived today. That's not helping with the dysmorphophobia though, it looks the same to me 🤦

Merlin23 · 27/03/2026 18:18

The things I like about being a size 10 instead of a 22!
I am fitter without trying. I can run if needed even though ny consultant says I must not run because of osteoarthritis
I look good in most clothes I try on.

On Monday I have an appointment at John Lewis to get some new clothes and an outfit for my son's graduation in May!

I definitely get treated like a person and spoken to differently in clothes shops.
I am much healthier than 11 months ago. I can get up and down off the floor which I need to do for work.
And I enjoyed having loads of room in my economy aeroplane seat and spare seat belt ( never had that before)

dozywelshbird · 28/03/2026 08:48

Amazing losses everyone, I know what you mean about brain catching up with body, I feel the same

@Merlin23 how tall are you as our SW is similar.

1lb off for me today which brings my total to 50lbs lost plus I just snuck into healthy BMI category 😁

Didn't think I'd get this far so I now need to seriously think about setting some kind of goal weight... Hmmmm, no clue yet 🤔
