If you havent used Pharmacy 2u i can send that, or Lotus also I think

@SexyFrenchDepression I’ve used pharmacy2u but would potentially be interested in Lotus.

I’ve used Bolt as well. I used monj.co.uk and have found it for £178 but the idea of paying that or more monthly for a significant time has been a bit of a wake up call, think I was really hoping I’d be ok to stay on 5mg.

OP posts:
TaffyTabby · 15/01/2026 08:30

I have used pharmacy2U, bolt and heyslim. I have codes for all three if anyone would like one you can message me :)

I am not advising anyone to do this because it’s not how the drug is prescribed…. But if you want to reduce the cost you could keep on ordering higher dose pens but count clicks to take a lower dose still.

So if you got up to a 10mg pen but used 5mg each week, you could make it last 10 weeks in the fridge. If you bought the pen for £220 then it would be £22 per week using it that way.

You would have to build up a bit of a stockpile so it’s a higher initial cost but then the overall costs would be lower.

Springbaby2023 · 15/01/2026 08:46

@TaffyTabby I think I would definitely consider doing that longer term, also I feel like if I’ve stockpiled pens then at least I’m committed to it rather than wondering each month if it’s worth it.

OP posts:
SexyFrenchDepression · 15/01/2026 12:33

@TaffyTabby I have a few in stock. The current pen i have used 5 x 3.75 then went down to 2.5 last week and this week, I should have 2.5 left just about in it.

I am going to continue ordering monthly for a few months then will find a maintenance provider and probably just buy 2.5 or 5 pens and use smaller doses if I need them longer term.

RoundandSad · 15/01/2026 14:30

@SexyFrenchDepression @Fifiellz

both of you having lost around two stone in two months

You must be getting comments from other people? Do you tell people you're taking it?

I'm just asking out of curiosity, really

Nobody would notice I've lost weight. Well, it's mostly gone from my stomach so I suppose they might if I told them. But I dress very carefully to minimise my middle.

I feel like two stone would be two dress sizes, but maybe it's not.

Fifiellz · 15/01/2026 14:40

@RoundandSad I look like I’ve lost weight and some people have commented and some I guess are too polite. At 5ft 5 I held a lot of weight on my back and stomach, I’ve had to get all my old jeans out of the wardrobe as the current ones look really baggy. I’ve gone from “a getting a bit tight” 14 to a comfy 12. In my experience I don’t start getting into size 10’s until I hit the top end of 9 stone. I can def notice a huge difference, across my shoulders/arms is really looking slender and I keep feeling contours in my legs which were not there before. However I do also have some crepey loose skin around my armpits forming so I need to really up my exercise - that’s the downside of losing quickly I guess!

RoundandSad · 15/01/2026 14:48

@Fifiellz the people who have commented, do they know you're taking injections?

I'm so relieved I didn't tell anybody
By now they would be looking at me thinking "what the hell". I nearly went all in to tell family/close friends because I thought Christmas would be awkward. Glad I kept my mouth shut.

they know I'm not eating cake and stuff because we have it every Sunday at a family tea but that's all they know

in a way, it sounds like you've gone from a 16 to you could fit into a 10 which is amazing

Fifiellz · 15/01/2026 14:57

@RoundandSad I told my husband at the beginning. My mum and my mil both asked what I was doing and I was honest about it and told them I was on the injections. My mum was curious about it and really pleased I had found something that was working because she knew how unhappy I was becoming and my mil made me order her a pen and now she’s on it too 😂. It’s not working for her btw at all. I always said that if someone asked me outright I would be honest because I think if you have been overweight for quite a period and then it’s suddenly coming off people will assume your on the injections anyway so what’s the point of trying to lie about it.

Fifiellz · 15/01/2026 14:58

Nobody else has asked outright - just said things like I’m looking well or how they put on weight over Xmas and I seem to have lost it etc

TaffyTabby · 15/01/2026 15:29

I’ve told a few people now I’ve lost a bit more, as I feel more confident it’s going to work for me. My main concern before is people would have an expectation I’m going to lose and maybe I wouldn’t. Still might not happen!

RoundandSad · 15/01/2026 15:46

@Fifiellz thanks that's interesting / sounds like people really are noticing but they don't want to comment or ask.

One of DH friends has lost two stone in two months and it's incredibly striking I don't see him often but DH said it's like watching him shrink every time you see him

That was also on my mind as well as my friend who isThat must be amazing.

How long has your MIL been trying it?

my parents would be absolutely horrified I'm glad I didn't tell anyone else other than DH

I agree with that loss everyone will assume you are taking it

I'm thinking about it a lot today because I'm supposed to take it today
Well, I was meant to take it yesterday and I just really didn't want to

Stupidly ordered a spare at some point when I was convinced it would work for me

so if I'm going to try a smaller dose I would have quite a few weeks left and I'm not sure I can face it but then I feel like an idiot for wasting so much money

It will still be in my system and if I'm gonna try microdose I should try it now so I I am not trying it as if it's brand-new sort of thing

when I'm done with it, I want to be done with it and have it gone from my system completely

SexyFrenchDepression · 15/01/2026 16:00

@RoundandSad my family noticed, my mum, dad and SIL know, my brother noticed on xmas day but not sure if SIL told him re jabs, he never asked. A few close friends know so not really sure if they would have noticed. I was definitely wearing baggier stuff before and now dont need to.

I am a similar size to @Fifiellz I am 5ft 4, started at 12 stone and now 10 stone, 14s definitely weren't always fitting although shops vary so much you never really know your true size, I have smaller stuff that I could squeeze into with shape wear and then wearing super baggy top but they now fit comfortably (size 10/12 but I would say my measurements are a comfortable 12 now).

I definitely need to tone up, for various reason I stopped the gym for about 6 weeks which is frustrating and I have lost a lot of toning which I had been doing well with. I am back with my PT tomorrow. Definitely my arms look thin but loose underneath now, not horrendous but definitely need to sort that ASAP as its so aging!!

I think now it is working I would be more comfortable telling people about it. I dont think people actually notice or comment that much on weight changes, its always a delicate subject isnt it!

Springbaby2023 · 15/01/2026 16:04

@RoundandSad Glad I didn’t tell anyone either as they’d definitely be looking at me thinking that was a waste of money 🤣 If I start losing at a noticeable manner and was asked then I’d probably tell them, but I’d want to be really sure it was working and / or that I was on them for the long term and I’m really not sure about that the way things are going currently.

SexyFrenchDepression · 15/01/2026 16:05

So possibly TMI but I really think that stomach issues/constipation has a huge effect on the weightloss. This morning I weighed myself very 1st thing after having a wee and was 64.05kg, 2 hrs later for the first time in days I had a proper bowel movement and I weighed myself again, 63.6kg. A whole lb different!!

Springbaby2023 · 15/01/2026 16:19

@SexyFrenchDepression funny you should say that because I have been wondering whether my lack of loss recently is in part due to being more constipated, not a side effect I’ve had before. Also feeling so bloated today so trying to remind myself that my jeans feeling tight again doesn’t mean I’ve put on weight, it is just natural bloating.

OP posts:
TaffyTabby · 15/01/2026 16:42

I hate being constipated! I’d rather have diarrhoea ha.

I experienced some constipation early on and have been taking movicol occasionally since and it hasn’t been a problem since.

I took 5mg yesterday and really feeling soo full. I had some stomach cramps too. I’m glad I didn’t go straight from 2.5 to 5 as it feels a lot!

Fifiellz · 15/01/2026 16:48

@RoundandSad My mil has been on it 6 weeks, just gone up to 5mg and she hasn’t lost a pound, hasn’t had any suppression at all but has lots of horrible digestive issues - constantly feeling sick and heartburn. I think some people just can’t take it. @SexyFrenchDepressionYour arms sound like mine, they look thin but if I hold them out to the sides the skin is much looser and looks wrinkly. I’ve got good skin and it’s always recovered well after pregnancy and toned straight back up with time so I’m hoping it’s the same now although I don’t have age on my side this time. Like you said it’s not horrendous but it’s certainly not the best it’s looked!

I'm gonna focus on arms and abs for the next month as much as possible, at worst case do more steps plus I play a sport each week so will be running a bit anyway.

And yes @TaffyTabby I feel the same, constipation is the worst!!

The best thing about having a bowel movement is that I am now just over 0.1lb from the scales saying 9stone something 😂 get me that movicol!!

Fifiellz · 15/01/2026 17:45

Oh wow well done. I think I will actually cry when I hit the 9’s. I still haven’t got my head round being back in the 10’s.

I still feel like its a dream, I have forgotten what it feels like to not be near to tears trying to find something nice to wear out and not feeling super uncomfortable in clothes that are too tight. Also avoiding photos other than selfies as my face looks so chubby.

I am starting to feel like me again. Its worth every bit of nausea.

Springbaby2023 · 15/01/2026 18:34

I will never be back in the 10s, I think 10 stone something is technically the ideal weight for my height but it’s never suited me if that makes sense, even when I was slim I was way heavier than that. That’s sometimes where I think BMI can be off. I’ll be delighted when I get to the 12s, and if I can hit the 11s then that’s my aim, but ultimately the way it’s going at the moment I’m aiming for the low 12s and hoping for the best.

It definitely varies, my friend is only an inch or two taller than me and she weighs about 2 stone more, she looks tiny in comparison to me. She would look ill if she was even a stone less. I have tiny wrists and ankles, whereas she is more solid in that respect. Its so strange how it works. There was a thread on here once that show photos of people all at the same weight/height and it was astonishing what different shapes and sizes people were.

JustBeach · 15/01/2026 18:53

@SexyFrenchDepression@Fifiellz similar to me! I started at just over 11 after a big holiday! Now at 9stone 7! It’s absolutely amazing, and I would never ever have been able to do it on my own. I’d been trying for years (about 12 and never got below 10.) I’m dosing 2.5 from a 5pen. I tried to go up to 3.75 for 2 weeks but had no appetite or thirst so went back to 2.5. It suits me well, I still have to stop myself sometimes from overeating , but it’s so easy to do now. I have another 5mg pen I’m going to carry on with 2.5 then on to life without mounjaro! I would like to get to 9 stone , but I’m not unhappy with how I am now. The best thing is just getting dressed is so quick and easy now! I used to have to try loads of stuff on to feel nice ! I’m looking forward to going shopping for new clothes as it gets warmer!
I’ve lost this weight so quickly around 2lb a week, but it has slowed now to 1-1.5 per week, but that’s fine. I feel so much better and it’s such a bloody relief to know I’ve done it finally!

JustBeach · 15/01/2026 18:59

Caught up now! Strangely my jeans still fit, but just are nicely loose! They must have been so tight!! I’m only 5.3 so over 1.5stones is a lot. I’m back in a healthy BMi by half a stone and fit size 8/10 where I was a 12 before (although honestly maybe a 14 in denial!)

HotTagine · 15/01/2026 19:01

Hi all, I started on 20 Nov and have just taken my 9th injection which is my 4th 5mg. I’ve been losing very slowly and have yet to hit 1 stone, though I’m 0.5lbs away. I’m only short at 5’2” but loads overweight so was hoping it would come off faster tbh. Though like previous posters have said my suppression is not super strong and I’m averaging around 1300cals a day.

Is anyone else starting to find injecting more painful? I do mine in my stomach and I’m sure there’s still enough fat there as I’m still around 4 stone from target, but it hurt the last couple of weeks.
