Feel free to lurk or post, absolutely no judgement here, just support and encouragement as we hurtle towards Christmas proudly wearing Crimbo jumpers without fear of looking enormous, look for slinky party dresses on vinted and for the first time, willingly take part in ALL of the festive photos🥰

Join us here to celebrate NSV’s, weight loss milestones, maintenance and new stone brackets!
I’m on W55 D2 and on w6 (and final dose) of 3.75mg before moving onto 2.5mg.
F in my early 50’s
H 5’ 5.5”
SW 13st 11lb
CW 9st 6.8lbs
GW 9st 0lb
Total loss so far 61.0 lbs (at 9st 6.0)
We recommend the Shotsy app to monitor the amount of MJ in the system and pleasing graphs to look at…plus the MeThreeSixty body scan app to monitor inch loss for the weeks where weight loss is slow but you might have lost body fat etc. Both are free.
Feel free to swap recipes that might inspire anyone in a food rut, tips for managing side effects, exercise tips, tips for maintenance, titrating up or down and we love a wellness/supplements/beauty/ style chat too 🤗

Hi ! I’ve never posted but have been lurking on these threads since the start (god that makes me sound creepy!). For those having a nightmare with Oushk on maintenance, I’ve been using Lotus Pharmacy for maintenance since September. They need a photo of you full length, I was in fitting gym kit and that was fine, and proof of prescription, I sent through the confirmation email from Numan for the previous month. They’ve been great since then, and they’ll start you on whatever dose you’re already on, or anything lower. They do maintenance down to 19 BMI so also good for those who are a bit smaller.

Not sure if the prices are the cheapest, but they’ve definitely been the most easy to deal with and seem a world away from some of the Oushk and Medexpress experiences on here!

will go back to my corner and lurk now.

Checking in after a while! Anniversary has been and gone, my weight hasn't really changed since September 🎉

SW 14st
CW 9 1/2 st
GW 9 1/2 st (or was it 10st?)

It's crazy to think I've lost a third of my body weight!

Has anyone ordered from MedExpress lately? Any new procedures there? And are there any ways to save these days, e.g. by swapping providers, even if in maintenance?

I haven't ordered pens since August, as had a bit of a supply, and have been jabbing roughly every 3 weeks, 7.5mg. However, I'll jab 5mg every 3 weeks or so now, and see how that goes. Appetite seems permanently low, e.g. a 2-course meal requires real effort. However, chocolate/biscuit snacks will probably always be my downfall, I did have a whole pack more than once this week!

For me, the mental health benefits/ calm MJ brings are still difficult to let go of. What with Christmas coming up, I'd certainly like to have a pen handy in case there's any drama! I could run a buddhist temple on MJ 😆

How's everyone feeling about Christmas and the constant food offerings and meals out that come with it?

I've got a bit obsessed with all of the 342 canapes and party food. They're Mounjaro sized food 😂
I've now got a freezer drawer full of tiny treats because I quite fancy a bite sized pie or mini beef en croute, but not a large one.

Love this. A bit like whoever recommended the individually wrapped ice cream Cadbury flakes. Just one is enough.. although I have to hide them from DH else there would be none for me to enjoy…!

Good morning friends in my phone!

Quick update from me: has been
Weight: still hovering around 133lbs which I’m happy with.

So Oushk is off my Xmas card list… had my video call to verify my weight yesterday before they’ll send my prescription that I paid for 2 weeks ago… the person at the other end needed to also verify my ID. Then asked me to send it in. I explained she’s just seen it. Surely plus I’d done this already to set up the account..”yes but it isn’t on file” I asked why this was my problem and could she maybe take a screenshot of my ID whilst we were on the phone to save me yet more sodding life admin. She reluctantly did this. Then I asked why it was so difficult to access the maintenance plan… she looked at the account and said ‘ah yes we’ve updated all of our processes so you’ll need to book a call for that’ so I asked if this was chargeable. Yes it is she said. So I said ‘but I’ve already done this and paid a fiver to you guys to join something you never actually added me to despite despite paying for the consultation last May/june. How can you recharge me again to access something I paid for previously and because you’ve changed your system that becomes an issue for the customer?’ She had no answer. I think I’ll be looking for an alternative maintenance supplier because this is not great customer service. Without MN frankly they’d have no business/a much smaller one given the word of mouth on here so I’m more than put out. Suggestions welcome!

off for a boozy lunch tomorrow with friends - they’re taking us out as a wedding present. No idea where we’re going but I shall be wearing my new burgundy sequinned dress 🥰 (hope it’s not Nando’s 😂)

It would’ve been my lovely Dad’s birthday today so I’ll be putting some flowers on his grave whilst making clear to my mother (they’re buried in the same plot) that they are not for her. Petty, but it makes me feel better. It’s such a shame that she wasn’t a great mother but I guess it made me a better one myself so I focus on the positives that has brought me. Plus, if she’s looking down she can she I’m thin now 😂

Have a lovely weekend everyone 😘

I wonder if I am in the same position. I booked my maintenance call ages ago and had it last week. I did say to ‘the consultant’ that I was probably a month away from starting and I still had my stash. I have checked my account and there is nothing under the maintenance section about the taper agreement or anything else. The jury is out on Oushk and I may well go with Pharmulous who are cheaper even after factoring in the Oushk discount.

2025istheyeari · 12/12/2025 17:55

Hi, January lurker again! Well done everyone on your amazing achievements! I’ve just moved from Oushk to Bolt who were £55 cheaper for first order even with Oushk discount, more importantly though they were amazing efficient, I called to ask if I could order for delivery in Jan, they sent me a WhatsApp to send photos of my prescriptions from pengate and it was approved within an hour, so impressed! They also sent through a referral code which I didn’t think they were allowed to do so have ignored that! My BMI is 23.1 but they’ve said if you have evidence of prescriptions they’ll consider lower.

This is exactly the sort of thing I mean. I actually had my call with Hira herself and got nowhere either…not great is it?

I was meant to have Hira but got someone else which I guess I was okay with. It still shows as Hira on the consultation.

There’s money to be made in the diet industry I wonder how much Oushk are paying mumsnet. And I am not sure about the Oushk points thing after all they are not Tesco.

Anyway I am planning my second Park Run tomorrow if it’s not raining.

TheSlimmingPumpkin · 12/12/2025 19:42

@2025istheyeari my last order was with Bolt they have an impressive first order discount.

LindtCurves · 12/12/2025 21:50

From the comments it sounds like Bolt and Lotus are worth checking out then?

@Goldleafcat I mostly feel the difference in my brain after 3 weeks. 2.5 weeks in I am prone to snacking, wants sweets etc, and my brain feels busier/ more irritated. Like stress is building.

The day after I inject, I feel so calm, everything feels easy breezy and chilled, and no interest in anything other than fresh fruit and veg. I look at my diary and estimate periods of higher stress, then inject accordingly, to be honest!

sumbum · 12/12/2025 21:56

TheSlimmingPumpkin · 07/12/2025 12:08

Ordered from Bolt on Friday. Delivered by Royal Mail this morning. Came in the usual puffin packaging but in a small cardboard box.

So worth considering if you want a first order discount. If you have already used them I have a referral code 🙄 but not sure if that works with a returning customer.

Please di share the code with me if possible! Many thanks

sumbum · 12/12/2025 21:56

Please do share the code with me if possible! Many thanks

I would also recommend Pharmalous for maintenance/in general. Seem easy to deal with and apparently they can start prescibing again for up to 12 months since your last pen if you come off MJ (tho I haven't tried this).

sumbum · 12/12/2025 22:14

Hello all!

My update!

Sw 92kg
CW 71.8kg
GW 64kg
Dosage 12mg

Nice to see where everyone is in their journey! So wonderful to feel lighter, healthier and enjoy dressing up again.

It has put a spring back into my life and i am so grateful.

I also never want to go back to where i was a year ago....

Which makes me realise i will be on some form of Mounjaro indefinitely.

I'm not at goal weight yet and still 'overweight' but feel happy with where i am.

I want to know if anyone here has tried splitting doses through the week so jab 2x a week but a smaller dose?

I'm thinking of doing this from my next injection and see if that works. I dont want to go up a dose. I feel this strength is good. I dont want to feel ill and this is a bit borderline. I need to get the last 7kg off so i can start tapering down

I've been using 'stockpiled' injections since August and will need to now face the price rise! Will look into Bolt and the others mentioned. Have my prescriptions for evidence so hoping i can get my next pen easily! Any tips will be appreciated!

I see from the messages everyone else is also loving vinted! I had never worn second hand clothing before. I grew up pretty poor and with seriously limited clothes but my parents hated the idea of 'charity' clothing. So its been hard to get out of that mindset for myself. Ive mostly stuck to 'brand new with tags' but have realised theyre just reattaching the tags usually after a spin the machine!!! Selling is also fab! Am slowly clearing things out.

Im also really averse to dresses now. I mostly wore dresses as i felt they covered the fat and so in my head i associate them with the fat me trying to cover it all up.

Appreciate you all reading my thoughts and love reading all of your xoxo

TheSlimmingPumpkin · 12/12/2025 22:40

I have read that other people have split doses one the week as it helps on the food noise front. The Fat Old Climber on YouTube splits his doses.

I really want to break the 10 stone barrier in the next week - just need to lose a quarter of a lb. I will feel a lot happier in the 9s. My goal weight is now 9 stone 8lbs / 60.8kg which will give me a BMI of dead on 25. I was going to settle for 25 point something at 9 stone 12 or 10 but having come some far (from a BMI of 41.4) I have reconsidered and want to go lower. Here’s 🤞🏻the two full 10mg pens in my stash do the trick.

BlueWalker · 13/12/2025 12:41

I had a mini whoosh last week after a very ploddy 1/2 lb a week max couple of months. So, 57 weeks in, I am down from 16st 4lbs to 9st 9lbs. Total loss of 6st 9lbs. My current BMI is 23.2 so I'm aiming for a GW of 9st 1lbs to give me some wriggle room as I approach maintenance. MedExpress have now cut me off (even though they're still sending me reminders to order), so I got my first Oushk pen delivered this morning after a July maintenance consultation (I had to have a top up weight verification and ID call since it's been a few months). As a result, I now have one of every 'flavour' pen stockpiled (I'm still on my last 15mg) to start titrating down. I did the maths though, and with the 5th dose on each pen, I reckon that will take me through to around May before I have to start worrying about an actual maintenance plan. In a NSV, my husband says my flat arse is starting to get some shape back. And my back tattoo (I got it years ago when I was around 12st, the lowest I had ever been previously) has elongated. But in a nice way, apparently. I mean, he sees it more than I do...

lol at the tattoo change/boudoir antics (I’m reading it that way 😂) Fantastic result you’ve had overall 🙌 I bet you feel entirely different to this time last year!

Keep going! I can’t get beyond 9st 6 but I’m happy with my shape. Fingers crossed as I titrate down my arse also returns!

Aww what a great positive update. Glad you’re feeling more upbeat, it’s truly amazing isn’t it? It’s been life changing for my mood I’d say - although the warnings are there for low mood as a SE.

Clothes wise - do you think people reassure them? My BNWT are exactly that. Unworn 🤔

Why not try differently shaped dresses rather than eschew them entirely ? I’ve been wearing way more dresses since this time last year which I’m loving 🥰

Yes they're firmly off my list Christmas card list too! I complained about not getting my £25 discount and asked them to cancel my order and refund me, only to be told there would be a £10 cancellation fee to restock my item! They hadn't even dispatched my order so why they need £10 to restock is beyond me! Horrific customer service. I'm not ordering from them again.
