Feel free to lurk or post, absolutely no judgement here, just support and encouragement as we hurtle towards Christmas proudly wearing Crimbo jumpers without fear of looking enormous, look for slinky party dresses on vinted and for the first time, willingly take part in ALL of the festive photos🥰

Join us here to celebrate NSV’s, weight loss milestones, maintenance and new stone brackets!
I’m on W55 D2 and on w6 (and final dose) of 3.75mg before moving onto 2.5mg.
F in my early 50’s
H 5’ 5.5”
SW 13st 11lb
CW 9st 6.8lbs
GW 9st 0lb
Total loss so far 61.0 lbs (at 9st 6.0)
We recommend the Shotsy app to monitor the amount of MJ in the system and pleasing graphs to look at…plus the MeThreeSixty body scan app to monitor inch loss for the weeks where weight loss is slow but you might have lost body fat etc. Both are free.
Feel free to swap recipes that might inspire anyone in a food rut, tips for managing side effects, exercise tips, tips for maintenance, titrating up or down and we love a wellness/supplements/beauty/ style chat too 🤗

Yes they're firmly off my list Christmas card list too! I complained about not getting my £25 discount and asked them to cancel my order and refund me, only to be told there would be a £10 cancellation fee to restock my item! They hadn't even dispatched my order so why they need £10 to restock is beyond me! Horrific customer service. I'm not ordering from them again.

That is appalling. Can you complain to your card holder? I would.

Blimey, that’s something else!

TheSlimmingPumpkin · 15/12/2025 20:27

That’s rubbish from Oushk @SerenePeer Clearly they are having growth problems. Never heard of a re-stock fee - that’s money grabbing behaviour

jay55 · 15/12/2025 22:01

Oh wow. Sounds like Oushk are really imploding. They charge a tenner to put a pen back in the fridge tha they’ve not even taken out yet. Am in the wrong line of business.

I think it’s very shortsighted. There are many people who may not post but read these threads who’ll take note of this. Unfortunately it does appear that they’ve decided not to put the customer first in their sales process and in my experience of leading large retail groups have likely have let someone who never buys much/does not enjoy shopping take the lead/have undue influence in designing it. As I’ve had to point out many times, yes you’ve got @SerenePeer ’s tenner but how many people has she told after her negative experience? (Spoiler alert: thousands). MedExpress isn’t for everyone but their CS is spot on and their sales process was transparent. Such a shame they don’t prescribe for my BMI but I’m going to check out the recommendations from everyone else on the thread who does.

My Oushk order still hasn’t turned up so I’ll be making a complaint today. Which is yet more life admin I don’t need…🤬

I’ve had a lovely weekend which included a delicious Vietnamese meal, very reasonable too given the location. If you fancy something different in Covent Garden https://www.cothanhrestaurant.com/london this place is recommended.

Walked so many steps over the weekend and yesterday, my legs are aching like mad.

No weight loss, I’ve bounced back up again for a few days but today I’ve put on a T-shirt I’ve not worn since sept, when it was new for my holiday and it feels enormous on, even though I’ve barely lost anything since then. So something has been happening.

Im off to Las Vegas on Sunday, I’ve ordered some suitably seasonal dresses, inexpensive from new look, as they will probably only last me one Christmas (hopefully I’ll be a size or two down next year) so I can glam it up for a few nights.
Just hope they arrive in time.

Hope everyone is having a good week.

PinkArt · 16/12/2025 10:19

Sharing with the group in case it goes away again before I officially weigh in - I'm 13 stone 9 (just!) this morning! That means I'm 6 stone down. It looks like I need to be at the other end of that 9 pound to nudge into an overweight BMI but boy it's close.
🥳

Ooh Vegas? How fabulous! I did see DH perusing the Las Vegas Grand Prix for next year when he thought I wasn’t looking… Anyway it turns out you need to put down some ridiculous deposit (like £5K) before they even tell you how much the package is that you might well have bought! So I’m guessing that’s a no then…😂

The dresses sound lovely! And you can always put them on Vinted once you’re finished with them 🥰

Hello all, midweek check-in after a weekend away picking my uni students up for Christmas break! I’m holding strong at 63kg after a weekend of meals out, and have just put in another 5k run despite the very unappealing weather. Fingers crossed I can keep this up over Christmas!

I have done something a bit brave - so far I’ve been enjoying my skinny bitch status subtly and tastefully (the better to fly slightly under the radar from nosy interrogators), but today I’ve ordered a skinny knit dress in the H&M sale. This one:
https://www2.hm.com/en_gb/productpage.1306545001.html

I am already feeling a bit daring about it, but I figure my Skims (can’t remember which one of your recommended them - thank you, GAMECHANGER) & my tall boots will help considerably!

Your collective updates on Oushk have really made me realise I need a new maintenance partner. Sigh.

I have done a 5km run today as well. Amazing given any sort of exercise was a pipe dream this time last year!

This time last year I was 14 stone 4lbs having already lost over a stone on MJ and no way could I even run to the end of the road. Now I am over 5 stone down from November 24 and running 5km.

I have noted that the dress also comes in Petite size for us shorties 😂

Ooh fab dress! well done on the run 💪🏻

Update on Oushk… I paid for the jab on the 29th November and it was a week before they contacted me about their new weight verification process. Which as we know, I did last week. During that call their agent said the jab would arrive on Saturday. As we also know, it did not arrive. I was about to start the complaints process with AMEX when I randomly got a call from an agent at Oushk asking if I still wanted to go ahead with a 5mg pen. 🤯 I don’t think she’ll be forgetting that call.. I explained that I’d been waiting for it since Saturday and then explained all of the other issues that I’d had. She said she would be escalating the matter but I won’t hold my breath.. I also said unless escalation resulted in a significant discount to reflect the fact that they actually valued my custom then I wouldn’t be returning as there are other firms waaaay easier to deal with.

Let’s see. A fiver says nothing will happen.

I jabbed yesterday, 30 clicks from a 7.5 pen. How much have i dosed with please? Is it 4.something? i really should make a note of what I'm dosing now that i'm trying to cut down from 7.5. lat week i did a 5 dose nad could feel the hunger and sweet treat noise in my head.

could you slow your titration down if your food noise is returning rather than halve your dose at a quicker pace? I was on 5mg for 2 months then 3,75mg for 2 months and I intend to be on 2.5mg for the foreseeable (at least 2 months) a 5mg pen with extraction needles is a cost-effective option.

I’ve had snacky noise return but I’m concentrating on water, protein intake, fibre and having pre-prepped fruit and veg to hand in the fridge instead of reaching for anything else. Boring, but necessary!

Good plan @Mounjaropen . i didn't mean dto dose lessthis week but my very post menopause brain couldn't remember what dose I took last week. i'm topping it up this morning to make a 5 dose and going todo that for a good few weeks. We go on our annual long holiday at New year and i don't want to be fighting food noise in my brain while `i'm away. I stocked the fridge with good snacks yesterday. Bad snacks were creeping in.

DH was very excited yesterday when telling me about hisfriend who has lost 3st. I couldn't help myself nad had to comment that I'd lost more than that amount and hed never commented or said well done to me. His reply was that he'd never thought I was big or needed to lose any weight. He said he can see the difference now but that iwas always perfect. Good answer i thought. He's lost half a stone while he's had the dreaded lurgy, I've not heard the end of how well he's done to lose it. ( proud as punch even though I'm giving the lurgy full credit fr his loss of appetite)

Definitely use the shotsy app to record your doseage.

I also have a DH like that although mine is now actually on MJ…and was more brutal about my weight 😂

I’m very much the thread title today, my holiday dresses arrived, they all fit. A couple will look better with shapewear (or even just tights) and one I’m going to keep back for my cruise in march.
I honestly felt a million dollars and couldn’t believe they all went on and were flattering and even made my bum look less flat than I feel it is.
Now keeping fingers crossed I win my flight upgrade bid so I can have more luggage Grin
