Feel free to lurk or post, absolutely no judgement here, just support and encouragement as we hurtle towards Christmas proudly wearing Crimbo jumpers without fear of looking enormous, look for slinky party dresses on vinted and for the first time, willingly take part in ALL of the festive photos🥰

Join us here to celebrate NSV’s, weight loss milestones, maintenance and new stone brackets!
I’m on W55 D2 and on w6 (and final dose) of 3.75mg before moving onto 2.5mg.
F in my early 50’s
H 5’ 5.5”
SW 13st 11lb
CW 9st 6.8lbs
GW 9st 0lb
Total loss so far 61.0 lbs (at 9st 6.0)
We recommend the Shotsy app to monitor the amount of MJ in the system and pleasing graphs to look at…plus the MeThreeSixty body scan app to monitor inch loss for the weeks where weight loss is slow but you might have lost body fat etc. Both are free.
Feel free to swap recipes that might inspire anyone in a food rut, tips for managing side effects, exercise tips, tips for maintenance, titrating up or down and we love a wellness/supplements/beauty/ style chat too 🤗

Oooh I'd always discounted Reiss due to my size @rayonsunrise but now I'm a 10, I should really give them a look...be rude not to!

Gosh it's just hit me there will be many, many shops i haven't dared to step inside for years for fear of being too big for their clothes..

Next you’ll be drifting into the designer rooms in Harrods and Selfridges just because you can. I do now 😂

So just gone to do my weekly jab, primed the pen but plunger refused to plunge! Luckily I have needles I use for the 5th dose. Pen is back in the fridge as it still has next weeks dose in it. That is the first pen failure I have had since starting 😔

Oh no! I’d let your prescriber know and not let on you extracted the dose.. you might get a new pen 😉

Good luck @TooExtraImmatureCheddar. Did you tritate down or are you going cold turkey?

I titrated down - I went down the doses slowly from Aug and have been on 2.5 since early Nov.

Mounjaropen · 27/01/2026 18:38

You’ve got this 💪

I’ve found that I’ve been much more mindful about my food choices using MFP since the start of the new year to log what passes my lips. I’d recommend trying that. I’ve also started keeping on my notes app a list of what different fresh fruits, plants and vegetables I’ve had in my diet each week - my goal is 30 different ones each week excluding dried herbs etc (which I know do count) if I add in seeds and nuts it is actually quite surprising that I’ve over achieved my goal for the weeks. Obviously I appreciate that I’m in a fortuitous position to be able to afford a varied diet but since watching Jamie Oliver’s feasts for a fiver, I’ve actually started paying more attention to frozen vegetables which does reduce waste and also cost. Anyway, my point is, logging it does influence your choices and if exercise is out of the equation. It might help you stay on track.

I’m down to 2.5mg and I do feel hungrier/snacky but determined to both stabilise my new normal and avoid slipping back into a nightly wine habit!

Oooh. I will try the list of fruit and veg, and I’m going to try sticking to my new normal of lunch and dinner with very rare small snacks (ie, once or twice a week, not 4-5 daily). Wine has definitely been sneaking back in though!

TooExtraImmatureCheddar · 27/01/2026 20:14

RayonSunrise · 27/01/2026 19:24

@TooExtraImmatureCheddar Brave woman! But I agree you can do it. 💪

While you’re sorting your shoulder out, will you have a chance to squeeze a daily walk in? I find that keeping moving really helps keep everything else in balance as well, and (as Mounjaropen has suggested) weighing & logging what you’re eating. My Fitness Pal is very good for tracking calories in vs burned, so that will help keep your walking motivation up while your shoulder heals

We are rooting for you! And I’m sure watching your DH shrink will help keep you steady as well - it’s good to have a partner in healthy eating and exercise.

This was a timely post because I haven’t left the house today! I’m in the office tomorrow and will walk the first part of the journey home instead of jumping on the bus at the first stop.

Hoping my hair will recover too, so there’s that as a potential positive. I’m going to be really strict this week to maximise the impact of my last proper jab, and then hopefully go into next week feeling a bit braver.

Gosh that what I am hoping to do when I finish my next 10mg mid March when fingers crossed I will be nearer my goal weight with a BMI of 25. I have my stash of 7.5mg pens to work through. I really don’t want to buy another 10mg as I didn’t get any difference in food suppression between the two.

This is positive to hear. I’m halfway through a 15mg and have one more after this - then I’m on 12.5 pens! Hoping I get on ok with those then I’m going to start ordering 10mg (still running behind order schedule due to mini stockpile). Planning to titrate down too (depending on how successful I am…)

Not sure what my weight has been doing this week - was up to 10 stone 5 on Tuesday (argh) and was back down this morning to a new low of 10 1.8lbs. The magical 10 stone is coming into sight! I’ve been avoiding the booze this week which may have helped. Wish MJ turned off my wine noise, unfortunately I need all of my willpower to control that side of things!

My Hobbs blazer arrived today, and it’s perfect! Glad I ordered the 12, the 10 would have been too small. It’s quite exciting exploring different styles.

Happy Friday everyone!

My WAG duties are now over and after two days of ‘Gala dinner’ food, I’m looking forward to a salad 😂

Weight wise, I’ve no idea but I easy hovering around 136lbs despite watching what I eat and being consistent with exercise… I did take my Pvolve equipment with me so I could finish the New Year challenge 💪

My hair shedding has reduced but suddenly looks noticeably thinner in the length in photos 😭 I’m not sure if I just need to bite the bullet and cut it shorter.. but then I worry that would draw attention to my turkey neck.. FWP I know…

I’m off to the Marie Antoinette exhibition at the V&A later and then a fancy dinner with DH so my alcohol consumption will not reduce… !

Hope everyone is doing something lovely for the weekend!

I apologise for bursting your ear drums by my rather loud shriek just then but I have finally broken the 10 stone barrier 😇🍾🥂. 10 stone has been my nemesis since November and I seemed to have been stuck on a never-ending plateau, granted there has been Christmas and 5 family birthdays to celebrate.

I have been into our dusty klaxon cupboard 😂 📣🔔📣🔔📣🔔📣🔔

SW 15 stone 12 lbs / 222lbs / 100.4kg
CW 9 stone 13lbs / 63.3kg / 139lbs
BMI started at 41.4😱
Loss to date 5stone 12lbs / 37.4kg / 82 Guinea pigs

Revised Goal to reach a BMI of 25.0 is 9 stone 7lbs / 60.8kg / 134lbs (might even be lower as I put a new swimsuit on this morning)

So 5lbs /2.5kg to go and hears hoping that the plateau is cracked.

Happy Friday all! I’m ending the week at the lightest I’ve been since 1998 and happy to see the scales moving in the right direction again.

I’ve also bitten the bullet and finally ordered some skims from Selfridges. I’ve been deliberating for ages but now I’m at a more stable weight and would like to smooth the remaining lumps and hopefully try to get my bum to look a bit more bum-like in certain dresses etc 🤣

Oh what annoying timing - I went on Tuesday! We could have arranged to meet in front of one of the frocks and discussed that MA was a far skinnier bitch than we could ever hope to be! I didn't have time for it as well but Divine Jewels is on for free there at the mo, if you need an extra boost of sparkle.

I do seem to be in a bit of a plateau this month but that's moved back in the right direction again. I hit 13st 04 briefly mid week which put me at a mere two stone off my target. Onwards and downwards.

Wooooo hooooo! @theslimmingpumpkin that's blooming marvellous!! You must be teeny tiny now! Surely more a runner bean than a pumpkin? Here's hoping that plateau is behind you and you have an easy run down the lbs to your next goal!

SerenePeer · 30/01/2026 12:21

Happy Friday skinny bitches!

@Mounjaropen enjoy the MA exhibition - sounds fabulous! I ended up ordering the lace Albaray dress you recommended for my conference dinner - it fits perfectly! Although any tips on how you removed the static much appreciated!

@goldleafcat happy Skims shopping! I adore the bralettes I bought last spring but must buy some more now my boobs have shrunk considerably. Oh dear, sounds like I need a visit to Selfridges....sigh.... 😉

Bravo @pinkart you're doing fab!

So I've finally shifted the 5lbs i put on after Christmas, so no just need to jettison the 2lbs I put on at Christmas! Ill get there, just need to keep focusing on these healthy habits and then the 4lbs to break the 10 stone barrier campaign is on!

My pilates instructor complimented by core strength and my figure yesterday though, so ego nicely topped up!

On the shopping front, I treated myself to a Hunza g costume in the sale and I'm in love! Very tempted to add a Hunza G bikini to my holiday drawer too....the bargain H&M bikini I ordered is lovely but a Hunza G would be lovelier....🙈😂

jay55 · 30/01/2026 12:22

Congrats on stone barrier smashing. Plateau bursting and generally staying skinny all.

Ive dropped a just over half a kilo this week. Both happy and annoyed. I’d reached a new low last Sunday, but then went out for a roast(which always takes a few days to shift) and had to charge up my scales which between them put me back up 2 kilo, that’s off plus a bit but feel a little short changed.

Also had a bit of an epiphany, more of a doh than a-ha, I’ve been struggling with temperature regulation and had put it down to peri but this morning realised of course it’s a weight loss thing, I’ve so much less body to regulate than my internal heat/cooling system needs a reset. Not sure there’s a button for that.

TheSlimmingPumpkin · 30/01/2026 13:39

Thank you all ❤️

Yes I am probably more of a cross between a butternut squash and a courgette at the moment. @SerenePeer A good stone might take me into the Runner Bean category 😂

I have really hated this latest plateau @PinkArt and prior to MJ I would have given up leading to yet another failed diet. I guess after spending so much on MJ since Nov 24 (plus 4 pens in my stash) I just couldn’t give in.

I think the plateau finally broke as I have been drinking a lot of water over the past couple of weeks and ramped up my steps again by taking books to a charity shop.

Water being the solution to everything always makes my brain revert to being a stroppy 8 year old who doesn't want to drink any 😂I wish I knew why - it's free, readily available and solves everything from grey skin to tiredness to weight loss and yet my brain still sighs at the mere suggestion!!! I do think it might be the issue over the last few weeks though as my calories have been low and my protein pretty high and I'm moving around more.

I’m loving the veggie comparisons! I’m slim-ish now but with lumps. I wonder if I’m a broad bean pod?

Ooh I didn’t get any static on mine? Have you tried steaming it or running a metal coat hanger over it to remove the charge? I had bare legs under mine (moisturisers remove static from your body) - are you wearing yours with tights maybe?

Glad you liked it - it’s well made at a great price and the lace is stretchy so unforgiving. My skims shorts gave me my bum back 😂
