Feel free to lurk or post, absolutely no judgement here, just support and encouragement as we hurtle towards Christmas proudly wearing Crimbo jumpers without fear of looking enormous, look for slinky party dresses on vinted and for the first time, willingly take part in ALL of the festive photos🥰

Join us here to celebrate NSV’s, weight loss milestones, maintenance and new stone brackets!
I’m on W55 D2 and on w6 (and final dose) of 3.75mg before moving onto 2.5mg.

That’s a lovely blazer, @goldleafcat - very sleek and tapered without being super structured.

I rate Hobbs for suiting, but right now my head is completely turned by Reiss. I tried one of their suits on before Christmas and it was looooovely - think quite a bit of it went into the sale, but not sure what’s still left? Worth keeping an eye on, though.

I find Reiss also cuts generously and for length/height - so if you’re a more average height, beware! They also have a very comprehensive petite range compared to comparable brands, though.

Has anyone tried Cos recently? I knew they were generous on sizing, but I tried some non-stretchy wool trousers there yesterday that turned out I needed in an 8. I have to imagine it’s a tough place to shop if you’re genuinely petite!

I got a beautiful dress on next online from Reiss. Absolutely loved it so started buying from them a bit since.

Loving the smaller boob chat. I’ve gone from a 32G to a 28F, I tend to wear a 30E or F though. They seem tiny now! My measurement has gone from 40 to 34!!

31 weeks post jabs now and still in my weight range although at the upper end this week after a drinking weekend. Although I had a dream I’d put it all back on last night so maybe that’s a warning to get myself fully back on track.

I had a heavy drinking weekend and noticed it went straight to my boobs 😂

31 weeks post jabs is amazing!

Lol@ small boob chat! Yes I am also blessed with much smaller norks - not even sure I could call them norks now, perhaps norklets?

Fashion chat! So now my weight is more stable (hovering around 10 stone, ideally I’ll get a bit lower but will see) I want to invest in a few new wardrobe bits. Am thinking a blazer, some nice shirts / blouses and trousers for the office (I wear a bit of anything really but feel it would be nice to try the shirt and blazer look after not wearing one for years).
What are views on Hobbs? What’s the sizing like? I’ve seen this blazer which I quite like :

https://www.hobbs.com/product/charlecote-jacket/0225-4019-9045L00-BLACK.html

Lovely jacket!

I haven’t shopped in Hobbs for years so can’t offer any advice on sizing, but do try an L in Zara as their structured blazers are great quality,

Edited

Cos was my go to for shapeless dresses.. so I’ve not been near it for ages...but their sizing was always very generous. Great accessories there though. I also Love a mooch in Reiss 🥰

Thank you for the guidance. I shall now also be checking out Zara and Reiss!

TheSlimmingPumpkin · 26/01/2026 19:25

So just gone to do my weekly jab, primed the pen but plunger refused to plunge! Luckily I have needles I use for the 5th dose. Pen is back in the fridge as it still has next weeks dose in it. That is the first pen failure I have had since starting 😔

random223 · 26/01/2026 22:03

I tried my first ever pilates class today. Wow!

SerenePeer · 27/01/2026 09:17

Oooh I'd always discounted Reiss due to my size @rayonsunrise but now I'm a 10, I should really give them a look...be rude not to!

Gosh it's just hit me there will be many, many shops i haven't dared to step inside for years for fear of being too big for their clothes..

Me too! I’ve automatically discounted so many places but now it’s finally dawning they may be accessible to me now!

I do one mat and one barre class a week - loving it.

I gave up going when I was a ‘big girl’ as there was just too much of me to move around, my stomach got in the way 😂.

PinkArt · 27/01/2026 12:57

NSV. I just realised that not only are my hips no longer shoved up against the tube seat arm rests, I'm now comfortably within them even with a long coat on. What a skinny bitch.
Last time I lost a chunk of weight I remember the tube being a useful measure. I tracked hip shrinkage via the seats, but also remember that the first time I clocked significant cheekbone return was on the window reflection!

TheSlimmingPumpkin · 27/01/2026 15:03

That’s really good @PinkArt being able to sit on the tube with room to spare makes it more bearable 😂

same with airline seats and their seat belts. DH told me to stop mucking about with airline seat belt when I had lost 3 stone but I was so excited at being to get the thing on without breathing in and moving my stomach about 🙄

RayonSunrise · 27/01/2026 15:14

Yay for everyone being able to sit in/slide past/fit into standard public space designs! They are one of those little NSVs that makes a bigger difference to your day to day quality of life than you might have anticipated.

Re all the fashion talk, I had a great day out before Christmas when I’d decided I was at goal, just going to my nearest John Lewis and trying all ALL sorts of things in all sorts of brands until I had a sense of what my new sizes were and what “lines” work on me. I didn’t buy anything, but it was pretty enlightening and has made Vinted and sales shopping much more targeted!

TooExtraImmatureCheddar · 27/01/2026 16:31

Hi everyone!

Today I took my last jab. I’m nervous as I’ve spent the last fortnight fluctuating up and down - my lowest weight ever pre-Christmas was 9 stone 3, and this morning I was 9 stone 8. However, now that DH is also on the jabs we can’t afford for me to stay on them too, and he’s just starting out with c. 6 stone to lose, so his need is greater than mine. I’m really scared about this, but I’ve got to try it. I might manage one more jab from his next pen but then that would be it. I also can’t throw myself wildly into exercise as I’ve pulled something in my shoulder blade so weights are out until it improves. Body weight lower body it is for just now. My plan is to weigh religiously and really watch portion sizes and nutrient content. Fingers crossed!

You’ve got this 💪

I’ve found that I’ve been much more mindful about my food choices using MFP since the start of the new year to log what passes my lips. I’d recommend trying that. I’ve also started keeping on my notes app a list of what different fresh fruits, plants and vegetables I’ve had in my diet each week - my goal is 30 different ones each week excluding dried herbs etc (which I know do count) if I add in seeds and nuts it is actually quite surprising that I’ve over achieved my goal for the weeks. Obviously I appreciate that I’m in a fortuitous position to be able to afford a varied diet but since watching Jamie Oliver’s feasts for a fiver, I’ve actually started paying more attention to frozen vegetables which does reduce waste and also cost. Anyway, my point is, logging it does influence your choices and if exercise is out of the equation. It might help you stay on track.

I’m down to 2.5mg and I do feel hungrier/snacky but determined to both stabilise my new normal and avoid slipping back into a nightly wine habit!

@TooExtraImmatureCheddar Brave woman! But I agree you can do it. 💪

While you’re sorting your shoulder out, will you have a chance to squeeze a daily walk in? I find that keeping moving really helps keep everything else in balance as well, and (as Mounjaropen has suggested) weighing & logging what you’re eating. My Fitness Pal is very good for tracking calories in vs burned, so that will help keep your walking motivation up while your shoulder heals

We are rooting for you! And I’m sure watching your DH shrink will help keep you steady as well - it’s good to have a partner in healthy eating and exercise.

Cheekbones, collar bones reappearing and not feeling like a sweaty heffalump on the tube (I sweat significantly less than I did before) are all just NSV’s which make you feel marvellous aren’t they? 💪

I did my second Lagree class today. It ended up being a 1-2-1 session 😱 in before times I’d have been embarrassed at my size and would definitely have struggled in the class where I was the only student but now, I’m legit slim (!) want to learn and get leaner and I also know after a year of Pvolve that I can keep up. I’m properly chuffed with myself and I hope you are too 🥰
