Hi , is anyone else using Shotsy ? All
my info has disappeared 😬😬😬

HappyWineDay · 28/12/2025 00:06

Well, the scales are telling me I’ve put five pounds on since the 23rd. That’s some effort! 😂
I’m not sure that’s possible, and I don’t think I’ve actually been that bad. I did expect a bit of weight gain though, and I know I’ll get it off again.
@RussianDoll76 , if you’re wondering what to do with choccies received as presents, I was surprised to discover that they actually freeze very successfully. We occasionally take two out to have one each as a treat, without being stuck with a whole box.
And of course, Happy Christmas to my fellow June starters and support group! ❤️

Sogfree · 28/12/2025 07:03

Happy Christmas ladies!

I'm jabbing as normal, eating what I'd like in small amounts, feeling very full, and knowing I'll be back on it properly after New Year.

It's a season to enjoy, not worry too much about the diet imo.

I am but mine is still there (albeit disappointing plateau this week with Christmas!)

SunandMoor · 28/12/2025 08:34

Congratulations everyone on 6 months! I have definitely eaten more over Xmas but I think we all have to have the odd few days off! I am going to on holiday in January and got all my summer clothes out to find a lot are far too big now so that was a pleasant boost! @RussianDoll76 i use Shotsy and my data is ok. Enjoy New Year and then I suspect it’s all back to making more effort! I never considered freezing chocolates what a good idea!

ChiaraMontague · 28/12/2025 10:13

I think my scales are on the blink! I’m showing 3.5kg lighter than I was on Christmas morning, I’ve NEVER had that kind of whoosh let alone after a couple of days of roast potatoes and Quality Street!

We’re away again tonight and most of tomorrow, so I’ll have to see what they say on Tuesday

Crinklecat · 28/12/2025 16:39

So ive eaten and drunk too much again today, its felt like old times raiding the fridge while i drink a bottle of wine. I jabbed this morning. While it’s obviously disappointing for my weight I’m actually feeling positive that maybe usually I am using some willpower/ routine and it’s not all the MJ. Makes me feel a bit optimistic about the future if I stick to my routines and good habits. Christmas is obviously unusual so if this is the worst it gets it’s an improvement on my old life

LadyClumber · 28/12/2025 17:56

@Crinklecat - Snap! I can’t stop grazing!! I jabbed this morning so hoping the MJ will kick in soon…

flameprincess · 28/12/2025 18:15

Well I did the dreaded post-Xmas weigh in today. Up 4lbs. It's not that bad all things considered, I'm sure with the amount of alcohol and carbs I've had that my water retention is contributing somewhat. Either way, it is what it is.

I am currently on my last pen of Mounjaro due to the price increase, been managing on 7.5mg without needing to up my dose but I just can't afford it going forward. Getting Wegovy from January onwards straight onto 1mg (I requested 0.25 but Bolt recommended I go straight to 1mg).

I'm really nervous about it, I've seen mixed results from people switching and just hoping it works for me. It was going to cost me around £200 for next pen of Mounjaro compared to the £60 its cost me for Wegovy so difficult to justify really even with the golden dose factored in.

MissMogs · 28/12/2025 20:15

I’ve also slipped up this evening despite declaring a line. My whole family had the Christmas desserts out again and I just couldn’t resist!! Arghh. Need this stuff out of my house!

Focusispower · 28/12/2025 20:41

I will join you all with a festive gain. I weighed myself today and I am half a stone heavier than I was a week ago. How the hell is that possible?! I mean, I’ve eaten a fair amount but not insanely so! Blaming water retention and constipation. I’d lost weight before Christmas due to being ill so I think some of the gain is just leveling back up again. I am also 2.5 weeks into HRT and my god am I bloated. Not sure if I can take the side effects of bloating and cramps and I’ve only just realised having read up, that HRT can worsen adenomyosis. Will have to see how it pans out longer term.

We also have a lot of Christmas chocolate but I don’t really mind. We tend to just have 2 a night and slowly work our way through. I don’t often feel the urge to eat a whole box of chocolates tbh. We are going away tomorrow for 4 nights. I’m going to carry on enjoying a drink and snacks and not overly worry. January is the time to get back into the healthy rhythm!

Tinybirdie · 28/12/2025 21:47

Ive not weighed myself, denial all the way here. I jabbed yeaterday, 2 days late. But I am finding it very hard to get back on the wagon after allowing myself loose on the puddings!

I'm taking 7.5 doses from a 15 pen, so it lasts over 2 months. At £230 per pen, I've decided I'm happy to pay £115 a month.

Crinklecat · 28/12/2025 22:09

@Sogfree snap. And even less with the golden dose

How does this work with reordering?

RussianDoll76 · 29/12/2025 06:42

Also gained 3lbs since Christmas Eve . If it’s any consolation to other gainers . I have hardly eaten any treats and no alcohol the only difference is I’m not drinking as much water and haven’t tracked protein, hardly any meals and not moving as much . Hoping this means it will be easy to shift ! Not worrying about it though just enjoying a relaxed week with my little people even though we all have the lurgy 🤧. Hope you’re all enjoying your Christmas.

Crinklecat · 29/12/2025 07:54

@Tinybirdie this worried me so I have continued to order every 5 weeks or so and now have enough pens to get me to target I hope. I expect I’ll stay on maintenance so hoping I have enough pens for a bit of this too, but worst case they will make me go down doses if I try and reorder with a big gap and I plan to be on 2.5mg for maintenance, and eventually would be great to do 2.5mg every couple of weeks so the cost wouldn’t be huge anyway. Or maybe wegovy for maintenance, who knows

ihavetocookagain · 29/12/2025 09:02

@Tinybirdie@Crinklecat I had 2 unused pens in the fridge. I got in touch with Swift and told them due to ordering early due to reminders and an extra pen due to cock up by Asda i didn’t need to order, so they asked for a picture and I sent it and now when I reorder when I need to they will accept it. You could get in touch and say you changed your supplier or panic bought when prices went up or bought a bundle from another supplier and tell them you need to not order any so soon. My picture was of an unboxed pen and a box (which was full). I was told a note would be added to my account and to just order as normal when I needed a new pen.

AmberLime · 29/12/2025 09:12

I'm also doing 7.5mg from a 15mg pen. Lasts 11 weeks with the bonus dose.

Not faced any issue with reordering yet, I order every 8-10 weeks. I change supplier every time. I tell them I started the pen 4 weeks ago. Not yet been questioned on the date of the last prescription (only the date I started using the pen, and that this was within 4 weeks). If I am, I will just say I got this order 8 weeks ago, which was a month before I needed it, so stored it in the fridge until this month.

Crinklecat · 29/12/2025 09:42

Reassuring to hear thank you

ChiaraMontague · 30/12/2025 10:16

Normality has resumed, I’m back up in the 76kgs after the weird whoosh I had last weekend.

76.3kg this morning which is 0.5kg down from Christmas morning - seems much more realistic!

Bloozie · 30/12/2025 20:49

I’m 4lbs up since the Monday before Christmas. I’ll take that. I’m slowly getting back to a normal eating pattern too. I’m not mad at what I’ve eaten, I’m not mad at getting back on it… It’s a good result.

Sogfree · 31/12/2025 07:47

I'm down 4lbs since I weighed in on Christmas Eve. I've eaten and drunk more than normal.

Go figure 🤷🏻

MissMogs · 31/12/2025 08:32

Seems right to take stock at the end of the year. I put on a kg and then lost it again over Christmas, so my Shotsy line plateaus but I’ll take that. I’m within touching distance of being overweight rather than obese so that’s what I’m excited about for the new year.
SW: 104.4kg
CW: 76.5kg
GW: 57.2kg (healthy weight for my height!)
Medium term goal weight: 73kg

Librariesrule · 01/01/2026 08:11

Happy New Year everyone.
Just weighed and I've lost another lb so that's the birthday and Christmas gain gone. Here's to a great year for all of us.🎉
