@Elliebearblues you might be better then to gradually step up your dose - not necessarily go up to the next official dose but just a gradual increase?

After not really having supression it’s back … I had a protein coffee as usual for breakfast then made a chicken roll for dinner and I’ve been so full and suppressed for about 5 hours so far… this is madness! I’m wondering if my body is playing tricks on me … I feel like I’ve had a big meal xx

I usually eat twice a day as I skip breakfast because of IF. But I have been eating loads of protein and some good fat to keep me full for longer.Some of my go to:

Lunch is usually 1tin of sardine (28-30g of protein) mixed with some chopped cucumber, few cherry tomatoes, cottage cheese (6g of protein) some lettuce and small portion of mixed quinoa. 34-36g of protein

Dinner is usually 150g of beef steak (39g protein), 2 poached eggs (12g protein), half of avocado and some veggies . Sometimes i swap steak for mackerel fillets. 51-53g of protein.

I eat dinner latest by 5pm and I dont eat again until 12 or 1pm following day because the proteins and fat are doing the heavy lifting as I feel fuller for long especially with the mackerel fillets i noticed. I dont know about anybody else but I am tired of chicken and salmon for now lol

You could get easily get another 20-30g of protein in if you eat breakfast

Morning everyone, glad the 5mg effects have settled a bit now @StrongLikeMamma I find the tiredness exhausting the first few days after injecting. 2nd week on 10mg, suppression better this week, but did take my 2nd dose a day early.

@Calyx72 it's great that the lower dose is working, I wish I could have stayed on a low dose as the cost for 10mg is painful! Sadly o only felt good suppression on 7,5 and up. You will get stronger, I'm 6 weeks into weights and cardio at the gym and have moved up on the amount of weight I can lift only this week.

@jaelato1your diet sounds great, wow to be in the 10's is my goal!
I'm also weight training too, I went into my old workplace last week and several colleagues said I looked really slim, two even said "your not planning to lose anymore are you" I laughed as I'm just in the cusp of overweight, still officially obese on the NHS BMI, maybe it's because my face and legs are slim, I carry my weight on my stomach (sadly)

I like The Organic Protein Co - it’s great for a breakfast smoothie - they have a flavourless one and the vanilla one tastes amazing - not gritty and with real vanilla pods.Either add some frozen berries, mango or banana and am full up for hours. And they’ve just brought out a new coffee flavour am excited to try.
Otherwise it’s greek yogurt chia seeds and berries or eggs.

I often have a tuna salad for lunch - adding spring onions, chopped carrots, celery, radishes, capers, pepper, whatever is in the fridge. And a bit of mayo - or greek yog

Dinner protein is either fish, tofu, veggie sausages, or beans/ lentils with veg.
E.G grilled miso salmon & broccoli
Ratatouille and veggie sausages, crispy tofu stirfry, Prawn thai curry, nut roast & roast veg….

I’m also taking collagen and Sambucol - immune boosting elderberry dissolvable vitamins - gets another pint of water down!

Losing suppression big time now, been hungry all day today and eaten what I normally eat. So thinking about ordering a 7.5mg pen next time which will be in a couple of weeks. Want to go up gradually though so will do 6.75mg. I'm hopeless at maths though so please can anyone tell me how many clicks that is.

@Shitzngiggles Sucks when suppression wears off, 6.75 on a 7.5mg pen is 54 clicks.

@narcASD That's the best compliment ever! Although I hate when they tell us not to lose anymore weight. My kids literally asked me where is your belly gone, mum? Apparently they missed my big belly, these bloody kids LOL.

Thank you @jaelato1 . Yeah really not liking feeling hungry at all. Its been so nice not having that awful empty feeling. Just hope going up a dose doesn't bring on any side effects, been lucky with that so far.

I pretty much ate fish n veg before jabs… just with the addition of snacks like chocolate, nuts, wine, home baking! I would also have eaten at least 2 times the portion size pre WLIs.
Am starting to feel concerned about maintenance. I have at least another stone to go, so thinking of planning meals more and getting prep done for the week - so I’m in a better habit before I start to think about coming off.

I’m on day 4 of my first 5mg jab and loosing again but just had the squitts! 🙈🙄

Oh some good news today is that I finally bought a dress in a size down and it fits! 🎉
It’s taken 2 stone for me to feel comfortable to even try ordering down. It feels really significant :-)

Another 2lbs loss this week, it was my eldest birthday yesterday so we went out to eat , was worried about the food options but kept it protein heavy and I also indulged a bit by having mocktail. Went for 5k run this morning, so my weekend is looking good.

@jaelato1 great loss, you made good choices without missing out, we have to enjoy and treat ourselves, I had a homemade chocolate twist for breakfast this morning, going gym tomorrow and I don't count calories that I've burnt so can allow some flexibility for nice things

Only issue I have noticed lately is that I am always COLD. I have read that this is absolutely normal because fat in the body a natural body heat keeper and we are losing fat. Anyone else feel more cold than usual?

81.4kg for me, two days in a row so hoping it’s not just water. That’s 12st 11 for me and it’s just sneaked my BMI to 29.9 😍😍😍

Thanks all for the encouragement. I’ve bought some nice salady bits and some cottage cheese, so I’ve been doing better on grabbing something healthy. New year, new start.
