I’m still at the 82.2- 83.4kg mark, which is the same 12st13lb - 13st3lbs everyone else has been struggling. My BMI is so close to getting down to 30 now though 🤞🤞🤞🤞

narcASD · 17/01/2026 20:33

@cheekysausage123 the dreaded plateau! Mine last 4-5 weeks! That was on 7.5

I took my first 10mg two days ago and feel hungry a lot! I only side effects is that I'm so tired, but getting quite strong sugar cravings. I am thinking I might as well just continue calorie counting and try to come off Mounjaro, I've lost 3st now in total, but starting to think I can lose the rest without jabs. Will see how this week goes.

@Clumsykitten stick with it, finally off that dreaded 12.13-13 yo-yo but it's taken some serious calorie restriction and gym sessions. I feel really bloated lately and a bit disappointed the weight loss has really slowed. I've booked a holiday in May and determined to get to 10st 12lb or less, it's 18 weeks away so even at a loss of 1lb a week I should hit early 11's at least

going to do a workout from home now, as feeling like I could nip to the shops for chocolate 😩

StrongLikeMamma · 18/01/2026 21:20

I’m considering jabbing the 5mg tonight. Went up to 3.75mg last week but have been up and down a bit this week.
I just want to feel a bit more suppression but am worried I’ll feel completely exhausted again.

Clumsykitten · 18/01/2026 22:11

Thank @narcASD - I just need to repeat “consolidation is progress” to myself 100 times.

Clumsykitten · 18/01/2026 22:25

Good luck @StrongLikeMamma - hope it goes well for you

Thank you Clumsy 💛
Just jabbed. Will report back 🤞

narcASD · 19/01/2026 08:20

@Clumsykitten definitely! Look at what we've achieved in the last 3 months, think it's important to look a bit further ahead and know this is a bump in the journey (need to take my own
advice)!

@StrongLikeMamma how are you?

jaelato1 · 19/01/2026 12:24

@narcASD Funny you mention coming off MJ, I literally just titrating down last week, I never went above 3mg so last week I reduced my does to 1.5mg and I am now taking it every 10days. Yes, there are food noise but I am able to overcome them using IF and I am feeling absolutely good so I hoping this will help me to foster good discpline before coming off MJ finally in few months.

I finally saw movement on the scale today (1.5lbs loss) after 2 weeks of no movement, I increased by calorie intake for 2 days in a row (Sat and Sun), I usually eat about 900 calories because of my height but for those 2 days I ate between 1300-1500 and also increased carb intake too and this morning voila! Thanks to chatgbt. I think this only worked because I have been on small calories for a while and my metabolism is sitting back with its arms folded until now lol @Clumsykitten @cheekysausage123 I hope you guys also break your stalls soon, tricking the body is an actually thing. The amount of informations we have all learnt through this process is amazing.

Definitely felt more suppression on 5mgs today! Feeling quite exhausted now. But not too bad so far. Thanks for asking ☺️

Calyx72 · 19/01/2026 20:38

Hope everyone is doing well! I stayed on 1800 calories and have started strength training 3 x weekly a few weeks ago. I am so weak and having to use small weights! Still can’t even do one press up. I can only do 6 or 7 press ups on my desk.
My weight has only gone up a few lbs, been around 161 to 163 since November. This week I am starting to reduce calories to 1550 then next week to 1400 while hopefully keeping up the strength training.

I am still on 2.5mg a week and will stay on that.

Just thought I would pop in to catch up and update! Exciting to see some are titrating down!

Elliebearblues · 20/01/2026 17:23

@PfizerFan Hope your feeling better now, do you have to pay to see the Shotsy graph?

@Clumsykitten you mentioned about reducing time between doses rather than go up a dose, I know you can take it 2 days earlier as long as there’s a gap of 5 days I’m sure but correct me if I’m wrong..

I’m trying to decide what to do I havnt had proper suppression for 2/3 weeks now and the food noise is back and portions are creeping up… I don’t know whether jabbing my 5mg early would help or go up to 6.25mg… I’ve been on 5mg for 10 weeks now.

Do I jab every 5 days to build back up or go up to 6.25mg what does everyone think?

@putthehamsterbackinitscage thats great your so close to target and thinking about maintenance

@Shitzngiggles thats great 1lb loss a week nice and healthy , that’s my dilemma whether to go up a dose too but I wouldn’t go straight to 7.5mg think if do inbetween.

@jaelato1 wow amazing your titariting down and managed to stay on a low dose that’ll make it so much easier.

@Calyx72 well done for getting into strength training it’s so good for you. Just build up the weights slowly and you’ll get there.

Shitzngiggles · 20/01/2026 20:02

@Elliebearblues I've started jabbing every 6 days from today, as am getting a bit of food noise and hunger pangs more frequently. New 5mg pen today, so I'll see how it goes. Might try every 5 days if still feeling the same.

putthehamsterbackinitscage · 20/01/2026 20:12

I wrote a post and lost it so here goes again.

@Elliebearblues I’ve found that jabbing every 5 days works well to maintain suppression and smooth out the peaks and troughs in levels, My experience of moving up doses has been that big jumps lead to side effects so I am keeping to very small increases.

if you want to try it I suggest you stick to 5mg then only do 1 day early to try it out - this is within prescribing guidelines as well.

i think we’re all finding our way and working out what works for us individually- it might be 2.5mg throughout, it might be going up every pen, the key is what works for us.

i’ve made a few mistakes over the weeks - went up too much too quickly and had some unpleasant effects but im now trying to focus on keeping levels stable and working on the remaining pounds. Once I get to target I don’t intend to rush to stop mj either, I know I will end up regaining at some point if I go cold turkey - it might not be immediately- I’ve lost weight before and maintained for a long time, then something happens and the bad habits creep back in.

StrongLikeMamma · 20/01/2026 20:17

Definitely feeling the 5mg from Sunday. Could hardly be bothered to eat yesterday and today.
Just back from my boxing class and am broken! Trying to keep my water intake up and on the soup and protein shakes.
Hopefully will feel a bit better tomorrow. But seem to have shifted the plateau as am down another lb today.

putthehamsterbackinitscage · 20/01/2026 20:24

I guess we are at or approaching 3 months on mj now, and we’ve all got a lot to be proud of… we’ve made a huge amount of progress towards our own goals.

the support and information and shared experiences on here are great - always somebody around to answer questions and to help.

I am thank you.. sorry, what's a shotsy graph?

PfizerFan · 21/01/2026 10:43

@Elliebearblues just googled it, i've not used that but i do use an app called dose diary which is free :)

jaelato1 · 21/01/2026 11:48

@Elliebearblues I am so lucky to have had good supression with a low dose, now I am exploring other medication like Berberine (sold at boots for like 15quid) which is apprently good for supressing apetite. I'll go on it once I fully adjust to the lower lose and see if it helps and report back - but I read might not be great if on higher dose of MJ as it might cause hypoglycemia.

@StrongLikeMamma Well done for breaking the plateau, it sure feels good. Hopefully you are feeling a bit better now.

I didn't even know that there was anything that could suppress your appetite being sold. Let me know if you decide to go ahead with it

The thing is I csnt say I have much suppression at all for the last few weeks so its not like its there for a few days then goes so I dont know if jabbing sooner would work if you know what I mean x

putthehamsterbackinitscage · 21/01/2026 12:58

@Elliebearblues you might be better then to gradually step up your dose - not necessarily go up to the next official dose but just a gradual increase?
