Weigh in for me too. No change this week. I am constipated though so I suspect that isn’t helping.

I refuse to weigh unless i've pooped 😂 get as many lbs out as possible haha. Hope it eases for you soon, do you take anything for it?

Georgelassosthemoon · 31/10/2025 09:08

Greek yoghurt with chia seeds and two cups of coffee usually does the trick for me. I’ve got some laxido if all else fails. I don’t usually have this problem!

Sleetingnow · 31/10/2025 10:00

I had my first 'I've actually lost weight' realisation moment today as I tried on all my jeans and realised they're too big. I popped to the shops and tried on some new pairs which were a size 16 - I was definitely a 18/20 (let's be honest, more 20) before! However I'm banning myself from buying any clothes until after Christmas, so back to leggings I go 😁

It's funny because even though I can see on paper I've been steadily losing weight, it has slowed to more like 1-2lbs a week, and fluctuates, which was getting me down a bit as I was losing much more at the beginning (water weight!). So this has been a huge boost - I'd encourage you all to go window shopping!

Today I also reached my first milestone of 10% weight loss. I moved up to 5mg this month and actually my side effects since doing so have been much better, just extreme fatigue on jab day and I pop an omeprazole otherwise can feel nauseous. But no explosive diarrhea for days or constant nausea anymore, woohoo! I was nervous to go up in case my side effects got worse but that hasn't been the case.

Next step is to up the exercise. A pp said one thing at a time which was good advice, but after 2 months I think I need to add it in, I need to address this saggy belly!!!

Ihateslugs · 31/10/2025 10:08

Weigh in day for me, disappointed with no change despite being in calorie deficit all week.

Im still undecided about what dose pen to buy even after visiting the pharmacist yesterday. His prices have now gone up to reflect the new increases but I’m not taking that into account. He said that if I go up to 7.5 mg it’s very likely that I will have the same side effects I’ve been having until my body gets used to the increased dose. So far I have had very bad diarrhea or constipation after the first six jabs and last week was the first without any bad side effects.

I decided to stay on 5mg but he does not have any in stock and the supplier he uses did not deliver them yesterday so he’s ordered again. If he does not get any by next week I’ll buy a 7.5 mg pen but only give myself 5mg to see if I react to that. He is not allowed to suggest or agree to changing the doses, goes against NHS guidelines but I just won’t tell him! I might then go up to the full dose depending on how I feel, I’m still very uncertain!

I now have an appointment with the Consultant re knee replacement surgery next week, hopefully he will be happy to go ahead with a 2.5 stone loss. I’m thinking of going very low calorie for a week to lose a bit more by then!

Thats a big win on the jeans front! Very exciting 🤩 it's going to be expensive replacing clothes as we go along isn't it 😅 i bought a cheap pair from vinted the other week, maybe i'll spend a bit more once I'm at goal weight.

I've not been doing any exercise either, I should really start. I have an apron belly from my c-section 10 years ago which is annoying as I know i can't get rid of that 😣

Ditto, total apron belly courtesy of pregnancies. Have you seen any exercises at all that might help reduce it, or is it a total lost cause?!
Starting on my bingo wings first!

Georgelassosthemoon · 31/10/2025 11:10

Amazing about the jeans!
I’ve been measuring waist and hips and I’ve lost 3 inches off my waist which is brilliant but nothing off my hips at all. My jeans feel slightly looser but I’m still in a size 20. They’re not digging in around the waist any more though.

On the apron belly and saggy skin, I’ve seen a few people say that when they first lost weight it was awful but given time, a year or so on, it had tautened up. So we may need to be patient. Same applied to faces.

Total loss from what I read. I made a thread on it a while back and the responses were unanimous, its skin that can't be tightened without surgery.

Kazzaa46 · 31/10/2025 12:57

Last night was Week 3 day 4 of 3.75mg and food noise returned. I had massive sweet cravings and ended up eating a Mars bar and a biscuit eek

The same thing happened at this stage of 2.5mg too. I really don’t want to have to race up the doses particularly as I only need to lose another 1.5 stone

OneDayIWillLearn · 31/10/2025 13:07

@Kazzaa46 have you thought of jabbing a bit more often rather than upping dose? I’m thinking of sticking to 3.75mg but jabbing every 6 days next rather than upping again. The last two weeks I haven’t had much suppression by day 7 but it’s been very strong on days 1-3 (to the extent I’ve felt quite queasy at times). So I’m not keen to up it!

UnimaginableWindBird · 31/10/2025 13:46

Weigh in day for me.

I'm quite pleased with this week as I've been ill and couldn't be bothered cooking healthy food, plus it was DD's birthday party so I just nibbled on cake and party food.

Start Weight: 211 lbs, BMI 34.1
1st Goal Weight: 190 lbs (10% bodyweight loss)
Current Weight: 191.8 bs, BMI 31.2
Total loss:19.2lb
Mounjaro, 2.5
Week 1: -1.4 lb
Week 2: -4.4 lb
Week 3: - 2.6lb
Week 4: - 2.4lb
Week 5: - 1.8lb
Week 6: - 2.4lb
Week 7: -2.6lb
Week 8: -1.6lb

Hopefully I will hit my first goal next week, but I will be away at a conference, so I will have less control of what I eat, and no gym access.

SerafinasGoose · 31/10/2025 14:31

Weigh in day

SW 15 st
CW 13 st 12 lbs
BMI 28.7

Losses have slowed down now but I’m becoming more settled in my new habits. Still trying to look at the bigger picture and the knowledge that this will be a long process.

Elliebearblues · 31/10/2025 15:39

I normally jab on a Monday but weigh myself on a Friday as I think that is a true reflection of my weigh loss then. I’m going to up my dose to 5mg and take it on a Fri instead .. I do like to have a few cheeky glasses of wine on the weekend would this still be ok after jabbing on a Friday? X

Funnily enough I took my 4th dose ot 2.5mg on day 5 instead of day 7 and it did massively improve my suppression in week 4. I’m toying with the idea of taking dose 4 of 3.75mg tomorrow which will be a day early

I may not be the best person to answer as I don’t think alcohol and MJ mix for me but I jabbed on a Sunday night, drank on the Thursday night and it made me feel really sick. But if you have been drinking ok on it then I’m sure you’ll be fine but maybe go easy to start just in case x

It was only the very first week I felt unwell drinking but I suppose as it was brand new to my body and I wasn’t used to it, I’ve been fine since x

I have my first sulphur burps today. Gross!

outofofficeagain · 31/10/2025 22:17

I feel this is a safe space.

My constipation has been costing me a fortune.

Somehow, I managed to break our toilet seat! I’m not sure how as DH is heavie than me and it’s very sturdy but I think I must have shifted all my weight onto one side and cracked it 😳. The seat was £180 to replace and turns out is a nightmare to fit so we might have to replace the whole thing 😭

THEN my constipation managed to sort itself out but, because I used the downstairs loo I managed to block it completely- after 4 days of trying to sort it out I had to get a plumber for £80 to unblock it.

And today, tried to make myself a protein smoothie, somehow either didn’t screw the blade on or overfilled it, it spilled all over the motor so I’ve trashed the nutribullet.

That’s three things right! Surely that’s it now!

@outofofficeagain Gahhhhhh that’s quite a tally, definitely three.

Chopsy123 · 01/11/2025 08:16

Weigh in day this morning and I’ve lost 1.25lb from last week. Considering we ate out 3 times and had visitors earlier in the week, I’m happy with that.

I jabbed yesterday - Week 10 and took the golden dose using a syringe. I dosed 70 units rather than 60 and that’s a fraction under 3mg. My next pen is 5mg and I’m still undecided whether to dose 2.5mg or 3.75mg.

@outofofficeagain Aww, what a pain in the bum. It’s horrible when you get a string of bad luck but it always changes so onwards and downwards! 🤞

OneDayIWillLearn · 01/11/2025 10:12

It’s been a bit of a chaotic couple of weeks for me on the diet/ eating front - three trips away, guests for half term, birthday - and this week I’ve not been sleeping very well (mixture of hour change, hip pain at night and generally worrying about things in the early hours!). I was knackered yesterday after another bad nights sleep, plus lots of wine with friends for a night out on Thursday night, and I was craving sugar so much all day yesterday! Ended up having a massive bowl of ice cream and half a millionaire shortbread which I haven’t even been interested in at all since starting WLI.

I weighed in at 12 stone 10lbs this morning though which means I’ve pretty much stayed the same weight-wise for two weeks with a slight downward trend, and can say I’m a stone down on my starting weight of 13 stone 10lbs. Slept like a log last night and feel much better today. This month ahead should generally be calmer.

It’s usually a school holiday or trip away which is the beginning of the end for my diets but I’m hoping this is where MJ will come into its own. Despite all the changes to routine and non-perfect eating, I haven’t gained and I don’t have that sinking feeling of not really having the motivation to get back on the willpower wagon that I usually have after a diet holiday!

MoreIcedLattePlease · 01/11/2025 10:19

omg @outofofficeagain what a nightmare!! Hopefully that’s your three things!

I jabbed 5mg using the GD and a syringe on Thursday. I was absolutely starving on Weds/Thurs this week and I struggled. Turns out I’m due a period, which does always make me have a hungry day or too. But, previous MJ months haven’t been that tricky to get through. I feel fine so far on 5 and back to ‘normal’ for MJ. Still a bit constipated but I have stuff to address that and I find chia seeds and hydration help.

I’m heading back to work on Monday and that always helps too. I’m too busy to snack - at home I’m surrounded by food.

If I can carry on as I have been, I’ll be swimming again from this week too. My leg has nearly all regained sensation now and the pain is gone. Just waiting for my foot to catch up with the rest of me!

Those whose losses have slowed/plateaued - remember this is normal! Off weeks will happen to us all, they’re part of the process. You’ve got this.

Weigh day tomorrow. Fingers crossed I at least STS after a tricky week.
