@Zempy thank you, guess what I received the code at 7:01am after I had placed my order at 6:51am, but it did give me 1p delivery. I used the £15 code anyway so only a fiver. Still, it would be nice if these things were auto applied.

I went for 12.5mg as I might be on 10mg by then!

Re eating, I ate things I wouldnt usually eat this week, sometimes when you are at work you just have to get through the day don't you.

Oushk and Farmeci charge £6.99 too @tinyemmy . Those are the only people I have used before. I just presumed it was a slight mark up on the cost of next day delivery for the supplier.

meatyryvita · 14/11/2025 09:05

Feel better soon @tinyemmy - when I'm under the weather, M&S Spiced Red Lentil soup is the only thing that will do (and it's got acceptable levels of protein due to the lentils).

Jab day. Weigh in day

Loss of 0.6lbs putting me at 8st 12.2 so only a pound or so to go for a decent safety margin.
Jabbed the last dregs in the pen which worked out at 5.8mg.

Having a quiet day as the weather is shite but triple birthday pub crawl tomorrow and on Sunday I’ll be expecting to be waited on hand and foot.

Aimingdown · 14/11/2025 11:41

I’ve been head down at work this week so a bit quiet but nothing much to report anyway. Still around 58-59kg with a goal of 57, so I’ve started reducing the dose a little to see what happens.

Congratulations to all you big % losers, it’s a weird feeling isn’t it? I’ve also done the mind trick of thinking of excess weight in blocks of lard/butter, I think imagining it all scraped off (!) may explain why some of us are feeling the cold more. DH said this (very grey) morning that he understands why people and creatures migrate to sunnier places in winter, I mumbled from under the duvet that my inclination is more to eat everything in sight then hibernate for the duration. Maybe that’s a fundamental difference between us?
Hope you heal fast @tinyemmy and that your brother gets to a doctor @Jins .

Thelittlestranger · 14/11/2025 14:07

All this talk of soup has made me want a wagamama chicken ramen for lunch, and as I'm in town I'm going to go for it. Hope your mouth heals quickly @tinyemmy

Yesterday was all about the food and a few drinks with work. I didn't go overboard, but eating breakfast,.lunch and dinner albeit not huge portions was too much for the skinny pleather trousers I was wearing and by the time I got home, I felt like an overfilled sausage.

I did weigh in at the bottom of my maintenance band yesterday, so all good.

Quiet weekend ahead - hurrah!

2025istheyeari · 14/11/2025 14:27

@Zempyits one week and sounds as though it’s been a tough one, so go easy on yourself!

Thanks for pharmulous additional info @tinyemmy, I’ve used the code for Oushk and ordered a 7.5 for delivery in Jan as I’m an existing customer so just easier! I’m struggling to understand how I titrate down, I’m on my first 7.5 and this will mean I’ve got 3 more, how do I know if/ when to go to 5, anyone know?!

Enjoy your weekends all, hair cut and colour and a mooch in Oxford for me tomorrow, can’t wait!

well done @jinsand happy birthday weekend!

hunkydory54 · 14/11/2025 15:15

Afternoon losers, I'm trying to decide what to do and thought I'd come to you very helpful ladies for advice. I have been getting my MJ and Wegovy from Boots Online Doctor who appear to be among the most expensive providers. I changed from MJ 10mg to Wegovy 2.4mg a month ago and I'm just not feeling the Wegovy is working as well as MJ was. I think the frustrating thing is I appeared to be on a nice steady downward trend with MJ and it's all come to a grinding halt and my weight has crept up by a couple of pounds. I'm struggling with suppression and food noise.

I have been reading with interest your posts about Pharmulous and had a look at their website. Their prices are way more reasonable than Boots and I can afford to go back onto MJ with them. The question is whether I should or stay on Wegovy. Also would Pharmulous allow me to do that? My current weight is 12stone 5lbs and I've got a BMI hovering around 27. I started at 15stone 8lbs with a BMI just under 34. I'm aiming for 11-11stone 7lbs and seeing how I look. I'm 61, rapidly approaching 62 and the skin isn't bouncing back like it used to.

You have all been so inspiring and even though I only post occasionally I am quietly supporting you all with your achievements and hiccups. On a final note I thoroughly recommend "Riot Women" on BBC iPlayer. It lifted my spirits enormously 😊

2025istheyeari · 14/11/2025 16:26

Hi @hunkydory54welcome back!!
I looked at Pharmulous and they accept people with a BMI of 24 and above so you should be ok. Maybe contact them and ask for advice? I know someone ( sorry I can’t remember who!) here wasn’t losing on Wegovy until they were on a higher dose. Good luck!

DGonMJ · 14/11/2025 17:47

@hunkydory54I’ve not ordered from Pharmulous but they’re on my list of alternatives to go to if I ever decide to leave Oushk. I hear good things about them and their customer service. I’m sure you could call or email them about the move back from WG to MJ, I imagine you’re not the first to ask this.
With a BMI of 27 and a history of WLI you likely have a lot more choice of providers than those in maintenance <23 BMI.
My friend is going back to MJ after gaining on WG, she changed because of the price hike but feels like she’s just injecting water.

Also ordered from Oushk just now for a Jan delivery to take advantage of the weekend offer. I ordered a 5mg even though my last order was 2 x 2.5mg pens, so will see if they allow it. I figured it was better value to split the 5, vs ordering another 2 x 2.5. I think I was hoping to be on 1.25mg before ordering the next pen…but 2.5mg is still decent maintenance dose. Works out at £15 a week.

Mid-week weigh in at 58.7kg today, half a kilo up on the weekend.
It’s been another lazy one this week. Only one peloton ride. I had a half day today and went back to bed after my last call! Ordered sushi and ate that in bed too.
Hoping I’ll have more energy/motivation tomorrow. Picking up my leather wrap skirt from the alterations place, hoping they managed to add new buttons without butchering it. Would like to wear it this week with my burgundy roll neck and feel like a Scandinavian.

well done @jinsand happy birthday weekend!

Your question on when to go to 5. If you’re still losing beyond your goal weight, it’s time.
If you’re maintaining at your goal weight but want to reduce because of cost, then I would give yourself a month to stabilise and then try lower again for another month.

Personally, I tried tracking calories to see what my TDEE was but just found that I was still losing so I needed to reduce the dose till I stopped losing. I seem to have found a comfortable weight between 58 and 59kg on 2.5mg without the need to track calories. If I’m to make a concerted effort to lower my dose I think I’ll need to track for a bit to ensure I don’t eat more than I am right now. And I’ll certainly have to watch my protein vs sugar intake as I think that’s the issue for me when I’m not on MJ.

Thelittlestranger · 14/11/2025 22:41

Agree - I've worked out the calories I can eat, and know that if I go above that over a week (not on a day) then I will gain. Time to reign it in for a few days.

Jins · 14/11/2025 23:03

I’ve ordered another 10mg pen to be delivered in early January when I should have run out of stock rather than when I actually run out. I’ve just got a 5mg pen with a 2 year shelf life but I don’t think they’ll have much of a handle on my usage as I bought 3 in the pendemic and had a maintenance appt where they were happy with 10 day spacing. I’ve actually only lost 3lbs since that appointment and I’m on the conti plan so I’ll probably just keep ordering 10mg for now. According to my calculations based on the spacing they agreed 2 pens would last 88 days so I’m saving one month in three whichever dose I’m on.

Cost really is an issue right now and if the volume in the pens is reducing as well I’m really going to have to titrate down and manage with will power. I’ve not ruled out trying wegovy but I’d be gutted if it didn’t have the IBS benefits of MJ.

Thanks for your comments about my brother. Still no movement on seeing a doctor and there’s no point putting pressure on as he’ll refuse to go for longer. We’re both equally stubborn but he has less common sense and no respect for his big sister.

BreezyPeer · 14/11/2025 23:15

@hunkydory54 I totally agree about Riot Women it's a scream! Xx

2025istheyeari · 15/11/2025 06:22

@DGonMJ thanks. I thought I was in maintenance but want to lose another couple of pounds. I seem to be losing albeit v slowly on 7.5 through calorie tracking ( I log and track as if I don’t I know I’ll lose track). I do have 2 5mg pens from the pendemic so I’ll carry on 10 day spacing of 7.5 which should take me to mid feb and then move to 5. Hope you feel a bit better and that the skirt is amazing!

will take a look at riot women!

Sorry @HeidiLite, I missed your comment on perioral dermatitis, that’s amazing! I’m still on antibiotics, it seemed to be clearing but I have a new red patch by my nose and I’m using no products at all!! Great news for you on skin shrinking too.

I spoke to my sister yesterday who’s adding me to her peloton app, apparently you can add up to 4 people free. She’s told me what weights to get and I’m going to start on beginner weights so thanks for the tip @myladyjane! Hoping that’ll help the loose skin situation!

Have a great day losers!

Zempy · 15/11/2025 09:32

Weighed in at 8:5 again today after a fairly traumatic 💩.

Out for tea and cake today as a treat with DD and her boyfriend. I feel a bit like I have to “demonstrate normal eating” when I am with her as she thinks I am a bit too thin. Does anyone else do that?

myladyjane · 15/11/2025 09:41

Oh my @Zempy. Traumatic poos are the worst

Zempy · 15/11/2025 10:00

myladyjane · 15/11/2025 09:41

Oh my @Zempy. Traumatic poos are the worst

I cried

Jins · 15/11/2025 10:49

Oooh I hate traumatic poos.

I’ve followed my usual pattern of gaining a pound the day after jabbing. It’s really odd. I’m also losing track of when I should be ordering a new pen vs when I will actually need one so I had the brainwave of setting up recurring calendar items. Sometimes I’m really slow on the uptake. Anyway I ‘should’ be needing 2 pens in approx 3 months which means a stockpile will occur in the spring but I’ll deal with that when it happens.

To cheer myself up a bit I’ve done what I do best and booked a bargain basement AI week in Crete in June. Reviews are mixed but aren’t they always? Some people want the moon on a stick whilst wanting to pay pocket money prices. All I’m after is a clean room, comfortable bed and not have to count the pennies for every drink we have. I’ve always wanted to see Knossos so it’s something to look forward to.

Not long to the family pub crawl. It’s going to be a challenge the day after a jab. Wish me luck 🤣

HeidiLite · 15/11/2025 12:34

@Jins good luck! And I love Crete, I'm sure you will enjoy.

Readig reviews about anything can also be a traumatic experience, shows that so many people walkig around amongs us are proper mad.

I always read the 1-star reviews. For our last summer's holiday, one stated that the place is too quiet and him and his 20 teenage friends were not able to party as hard as they wanted. Works for me!
For the place I'm considering for next Oct, one mum has complaned that her young kids were not allowed to throw balls and splash people in the pool. Perfect!
(one reviewer also gave 1star because weather was cold)

DGonMJ · 15/11/2025 13:23

@ZempyYes to demonstrative eating, especially at work where people thought I was skipping lunch, even though I never have. But with DC, less so as neither of them have issues so I’m more comfortable about leaving food more to demonstrate that it’s ok not to eat everything.

Good luck with the pub crawl @jinsI can never manage more than 1.5 bottles of 0% beer even on 2.5mg so not sure how I’d cope with that on 7.5!

Am also trying to calculate when I ‘need’ to order to keep my prescription history looking regular rather than when I’ll actually be low in stock. If I stay on 2.5mg I have 15 weeks worth of doses in the fridge. Plus I have that January delivery which will add another 8-10 doses (depending on amount in pen). So I’m actually good for 6 months. But will need to order again for mid-Feb, to qualify for my Conti maintenance codes from Oushk. I know there are other prescribers that are currently taking orders after a break, but there’s no guarantee they won’t change the minimum BMI rules, so sticking with Oushk for now.

I keep track of number of doses from each pen on my spreadsheet - which I’m having to refer to more and more. Tomorrow will be dose 6 from my 8th pen, week 46.

Leather skirt was still too big! So they’re adding another button for me to wear it tighter round the waist. I’ve not lost weight since I was measured for it two weeks ago, so they’re adding the buttons for free.

HeidiLite · 15/11/2025 14:14

ah yes I hear you guys on demonstrative eating. Some of my work colleagues commented even before MJ and basically accused me of an eating disorder, because I almost never eat lunch at work. First, I'm simply not hungry. Second, work canteen is not exactly gourmet and I'd rather save my calories for something better. But that I don't care about.

I did get a bit worried when kids started commenting that 'mummy never eats', and that was before MJ, due to my numerous previous weight loss attempts. Of course I don't want them to end up with issues around food, but I did try to explan about nutrients and excess calories when you are no longer a growing child.
It's a minefield though. I don't want to be one of those almond mums policing my kids' weight. but then again, I also don't want to be like a friend of mine, whose young daughter is obese and she refuses to even acknowledge that the kid may need some help..

myladyjane · 15/11/2025 15:31

My kids didn’t even really notice my eating habits. I did a whole peri menopause trying to look after myself’ so less sugar’ thing and they just said ok and wandered off. Dd2 hasn’t even noticed how much weight I’ve lost (dd1 has but only because she is my shopping buddy).

today I bought 2 nail varnishes. That’s my achievement

DGonMJ · 15/11/2025 15:35

Well done on your achievement 👏 @myladyjane
After spending most of yesterday in bed, I graduated to the sofa and started online Xmas shopping in the pre-BF sale. Have bought pyjamas and socks. Feeling accomplished.

Grecianrainbow · 15/11/2025 15:55

Dropping back into the thread as another slow loser and slow runner too. I’m at 24% weight lost since my starting point, lost 3st 7lb but still have another stone and a half to go I think. It’s took pretty much this whole time for people to start to notice. But this week I’m super pleased as I made it into the 10 st bracket. Only just but I’ve not weighed 10st something for over a decade!!!

Definitely keep up with the c25k, I’m a convert to running clubs -especially in winter, if you can find one that’s inclusive to all paces it’s so much more motivating than going solo when it’s cold dark or wet.

PenelopesPursuitPrevails · 15/11/2025 16:29

Hello @Grecianrainbow 👋, well done from another slow loser.

Commiserations @Zempy , 💩problems are awful, I have not posted what I had to resort to last week 😭.

I've hit a point where everything is looking too big, even the size 14 slim cut trousers I bought two weeks ago are falling down. Good, but I am struggling to look well dressed. I've bought a couple of tweed blazers from eBay, BNWT - styles I had in larger sizes today. I am going to get two jackets tailored (tailor confimed they can reduce by two sizes last week) for now and style out my roomy look until January.

Vinted is going ok, 12 items sold so far with another 12 listed and a gazillion more to list. I am taking a 'take no prisoners' approach to offers. I would rather give the £95 like new top worn twice that I have listed for £7.50 to charity than take an offer on it.

I am very pleased about the wardrobe space I am creating 😂.

I've almost finished Xmas shopping for DC, need to start on wider family but that can wait a bit.
