Bit premature but planning on starting with Mounjaro in next week or so.

I’ve struggled with my weight for the majority of my life and despite having periods of being within the realms of ‘healthy’ weights, these have been difficult to get to and v hard to maintain. I’m now keen to sort things out, once and for all before I’m 40. (Given myself a buffer as currently 36…) 😅

@Oblomov25i use juniper

Clumsykitten · 14/10/2025 15:11

A question - how quickly did people start experiencing side effects? Thank you

Sunshinesally77 · 14/10/2025 16:45

Hi all xx just wondering if anyone can relate to a constant feeling that you’ll be the person this doesn’t work for?! I don’t feel thinner at all after 6 days (I know it’s early) but I feel bloated and still quite hungry and can’t quite believe it will actually work for me- pls let me know if you felt like this if you’re further on xx

I really feel like this, I see all the people I know it has worked for and I just can’t imagine being one of them.

A friend of mine said it took him 3 months to see and feel a difference in his weight. Take it one day at a time with how you feel but also keep an eye on the bigger picture and how you might feel 2,3,4 months from now.

I believe it is pretty common not to feel huge suppression at first, everyone seems to react slightly differently.

@Elizabeth49 got my next 2.5mg pen last week saturday but I am thinking of going up to 3mg in two weeks time but we'll see.

@DakotaFanny We all react to it differently, some within the hour, same day and some within few days - has your supression not kicked in yet?

@Oblomov25 check out the online comparison site for best prices - monj.co.uk/discount-mounjaro-price-list/

No. Nothing yet. I wanted to wake up fully suppressed! 😂

The next day with me when I took Wegovy but I’ve been ok on Mounjaro

AlexBrad · 14/10/2025 17:21

My side effects started 12 hours after the first injection… bad stomach, headache and feeling sick.

cheekysausage123 · 14/10/2025 19:23

I’m reading gang, sorry to hear you’re poorly @Calyx72 also got the lurgy atm. As others have said, focus on nutrition right now, the weight loss will follow I’m sure. X

Yes thanks all. I did search found MJ 2.5 for £53. Is that a good price?

Nandina · 14/10/2025 19:29

Could I ask if I manage to extract an extra dose out of the pen for week 5, is a dose 0.6 for those on the 2.5 pen? Just planning ahead.

That seems incredibly cheap! Are you sure it’s not Wegovy?! If not, do feel free to share the provider (please) 😂

That's insanely cheap! Make sure it's definitely MJ and a legit provider. I've not even seen a discounted first month rate of less than £120 ish.

Oblomov25 · 14/10/2025 20:02

Searched MJ 2.5, it came up with 'get a drip'!

That's interesting - on their website their price shows as substantially higher!

Try it with the WEBREF discount code? Not advocating Get A Drip at all btw, just intrigued! I’ve personally used Farmeci & MedExpress.

Ah they require you to do the full assessment including photos to get to add stuff to basket so I won't be doing that right now 🤣 I was with Shemed, will be moving to Juniper after this pen runs out. I had it leftover from earlier this year so am doing 2 months of 2.5 using my 5mg pen first.

DakotaFanny · 14/10/2025 21:00

I don’t know if we’re allowed to share referrals here but if anyone wants a juniper code, I’m your woman! (The scales you get are fabulous!)

Ah bless you, no worries! 😂 I was just intrigued.

I’ve got a 5mg pen in the fridge but now wondering whether I should stick with 2.5mg for another month as losing and keen to avoid side effects.

I'll be taking you up on this down the line, thank you!

PfizerFan · 14/10/2025 21:24

I'm with CheqUp, all good so far.

It's £109 for first order of 2.5mg with a £50 off referral code, so send me your email address if you're interested.

Elliebearblues · 14/10/2025 21:30

That’s seems so cheap. I’ve also got a referral code for MedExpress if anyone needs one

narcASD · 14/10/2025 21:59

@Nandina yes it’s 0.6 the golden dose, I am planning on taking it this Saturday as I am splitting my doses at the moment.

2.5 then 3 days later 2.5 using the extra dose, I ordered diabetic syringes from Amazon, the needles are very long though so be careful

narcASD · 14/10/2025 22:05

@Clumsykitten I don’t really feel any suppression until a week later, it’s only my 3rd week and I’ve had no side effects at all, in fact I feel so much healthier, I sleep better too.

@Sunshinesally77 I feel like this, I have a lot to lose, over 5st, I’ve always been a bigger woman, it is working but like everything it takes time, I just need to keep reminding myself of that!

Almost 3 weeks in and I’m 2lb away from losing my first stone.

Clumsykitten · 14/10/2025 22:42

Eeek. It arrived, and I did my first injection this evening before I could chicken out.

Thanks for the encouragement and advice, I’m not sure I’d have been brave enough without posting here.
