Hello,

tmi - but is anyone else noticing a gain or stall, the week of ovulation? I’ve noted this in my notes the last 3 months. It seems to be this week I either gain 2lbs and then lose it the following week or my weight just does not budge regardless of what I eat or drink. I’m not worrying too much as it seems to be a pattern with me but I wonder if it’s just me lol!

Wellfuckme · 23/01/2026 07:44

Weigh in day for me and 4lbs this week but it was only 1lb last week so I think some of this might be just catching up from last week.

SW - 18st 8lb
CW - 15st 3lb
Still on 7.5mg.

I can't believe that I've lost so much in 4 months although I've still got a way to go yet. My goal was to be in the 14 stone bracket by Feb half term which I can actually see me achieving.

LaGioiosanotLeviosa · 23/01/2026 16:59

I’m now down to 11stone 9.5lbs. Started at 14stone 4lbs so pleased with that although losses have started to slow.
Im 5’8 and realistically really need another stone off but I’m not allowed to increase to a 10mg pen due to gallstones so its going to be a battle now.
I gained 0.5lb this week but trying not to worry as my trend is that I lose decent for two weeks then stay the same or very small loss for two weeks.
I track all calories and always have done since I started in August.
Less suppression now so more willpower needed, still doing 1200kcals a day but also within that I do eat a few ginger biscuits or rich tea and also sour dough has crept in a bit especially as I’m restricted with full fat foods now.

TheArtfulCrow · 24/01/2026 17:06

Not sure what week I am on now but down another 2lbs this week. I made the right decision to drop back down to 5mg as I feel a bit more alive 😂

How long were you on 7.5mg for @TheArtfulCrow I'm on 7.5mg at the moment, but I've been struggling with nausea and am wondering if I should move back down. I just started a second pen of 7.5mg so this is my 6th week at that dose and I still feel sick for the first 4 days or so after each jab and I don't think I'm actually managing to eat many calories each day.

I stayed on it for one pen only, I'm on my second week of 5mg again. I couldn't eat at all really, horrible nausea and had abdominal pain too. But I'm back to having an appetite now and enjoying food but still eating small portions.

40 clicks would give you a 5mg dose of that helps.

Thanks @TheArtfulCrow and @SkinnyOatFlatWhiteForMePlease . I think I will reduce my dose for the next
jab and see if I feel better on a lower dose. I might go down to 6.25mg and see how I feel, then go back down to 5 if I'm still getting a lot of nausea. I'm assuming 6.25mg would be 50 clicks from a 7.5mg pen?

Yes. Definitely worth a try, let us know how you get on in the coming week.

Hi everyone

Weigh in day and I have finally broken into the 11s 🎉

Im still on 2.5 (taking 10 doses from a 5mg pen), dosing every 8 or 9 days… I’m still getting suppression for a few days per week, and having to use some willpower for the rest of it and exercising A LOT.

Will see how it goes over the next few weeks and might go up slightly and bring the doses back in to 7 days if the weight loss stops.

I have a holiday booked for May and looking forward to wearing a bikini for the 1st time in years 🏖️

Hi everyone,

weigh day today as I’m working 13 hours tomorrow so don’t want to be rushing about.

2lbs lost this week, which I’m very happy about as we did have a wee last minute jaunt into a Chinese for lunch yesterday, although I didn’t eat very much anyway.

SW before MJ - 13st11lbs
SW with MJ - 12st3lbs
CW - 10st3lbs
GW - 9st11lbs

officially lost 2st with MJ now.
xx

Just a quick update as I know some were interested in how stopping would go. I did post this on another thread but in case its of use to anyone else who is worried about approaching goal weight and stopping.

I have been off it for about 6 weeks now and have lost another 4lb. I used the time on it to change my lifestyle and eating habits. The food noise has come back but I didn't suddenly have the urge to binge like a mad woman as some people would have you believe. Ultimately it is the same as stopping any other diet method, if I go back to how I was before I will regain the weight. I have to take responsibility and keep up the healthier lifestyle.
I have spent most of my adult life as a yo-yo dieter bingeing, using exercise as a punishment and, hating my body. I have had to reframe my mindset completely and the mj gave me the space I needed to do that. It has still been hard work but I am proud of myself and looking forward to a healthier version of me for the future.

AsteriaBuffy · 27/01/2026 14:49

That's amazing and inspiring @Booksandcheese thanks :D

I'm concerned about stopping but taking hope that I'll maintain the same weight, whatever that is at the time. Being post-menopausal it's very difficult to lose via diet and exercise (well I find it practically impossible), but in the year before starting MJ I stayed a constant weight despite eating normally. I piled on 2 stone for no apparent reason in the 2 years running up to that 😕

Have decided to stick with 6.25mg for the foreseeable - I injected a day early last week (as wanted to get back to my 'regular' day) and suppression really hit me. Scales are still creeping down, very very slowly! But like others I don't want to go through my days feeling nauseous, especially as I do most of the family cooking so need to be able to feel some enthusiasm for doing it!

sfraxx · 28/01/2026 18:09

hello,

well my MJ journey has come to an end after this week. I’ve only 5lbs left to lose until my second goal and I want to try come off and do it myself, so I don’t come off and gain it all back lol. I can’t justify £200 for a measly 5lbs.

will still follow along on everyone’s updates as well as my own weekly.

Only 1lb loss this week but had a hospital to a&e visit with a relative this week and dinner with old friend. Don't think I've drunk enough water either.

SW 18st 8lb
CW 15st 2lb
Just jabbed golden dose of 7.5mg, not sure if it was the full dose though. Might jab a day early next week if I am struggling.

TheArtfulCrow · 31/01/2026 10:43

No loss this week but I'm on my period so bloated and retaining water so I'm not surprised.

Non-scale victories this week:
I've been on two long train journeys this weekend. Was v disappointed about an uncomfortable seat. Same thing happened on the return journey. Realised it wasn't the seat - it's my bones that I can feel.

Bought two pairs of Size 16 jeans from River Island. I could no more fit into that size last year than fly to the moon.

SkinnyOatFlatWhiteForMePlease · 31/01/2026 11:23

@WellfuckmeI draw out 0.6ml using an insulin syringe if that helps.

SkinnyOatFlatWhiteForMePlease · 31/01/2026 11:29

@twilightcafewell done, I find new jeans as the best guide to going down a size.

Tesco 25% off is on until tomorrow, I got a few items to plug gaps in my wardrobe for under £50. Annoyingly tights weren’t included, I needed a few packs as mine keep falling down.

reluctantbrit · 31/01/2026 15:14

I am officially not obese anymore!!!!!

Lost another kg and down to 79.1kg now.

I want to go to 65kg ideally.

Pumpernickelbrakes · 31/01/2026 15:17

Hello everyone, hope things are continuing to go well.
It’s my birthday on Monday and I’m into the ten stone territory which is amazing!
Am 75% of the way to goal, have lost 41 pounds. Recently have been less hyper focused on ‘doing everything perfectly’, tracking macros and logging and weighing portions before eating, etc because have been renovating my bathroom singlehanded and it’s tiring. Bought a ten mg pen but decided to stick with 7.5mg dose.

SW 195 pounds
CW 154 pounds
GW under 140 pounds.

Have a great weekend!

MrJollyLivesNextDoor · 01/02/2026 18:34

Hello 👋

Well done everyone on all the scale and non scale victories!

1lb loss for me this week which is a miracle given I had 2 days where I practically inhaled sugar - chocolate, cake, biscuits, anything I could get my hands on! This was immediately after feeling really ropey on Monday, thought I was coming down with something really nasty but it passed over really quickly then left me with the mother of all sugar cravings 😳

I have now lost exactly 3st

Hi everyone

so my journey was coming to an end due to end of pen and only 4lbs left to lose. I just tried my pen and it’s allowing me to get another full dose out of it. I wonder if it’s because I only took a half dose the first week.

it’s obviously been passed 30 days now, do you think it would be ok to do?

xx

sfraxx · 02/02/2026 17:19

Hello, ignore my last message. It has only been 29 days since my first dose, so just went ahead with the last dose this week.

but I won’t be buying another pen so hopefully I can get 2lbs off this week.

Hey all, sorry been a bit quiet, but I've been keeping up with everyone's hard work and progress! Some amazing losses since we started and lots of NSVs! 🥳 Who'd of thought we would be where we are now when we started in August!

I've decided once I hit 10st to start titrating down and doing 10 days between doses, hopefully not too long but been losing only 0.75lbs each week ish recently but im still pleased as small progress is still progress! Having said that I managed a mammoth loss of 2.25lbs this week so may be on the move again after levelling off a bit! 🤞🤞🤞
Still at gym 3 times a week and feel that's now embedded as a routine which I never thought possible and even liking it!
Started at a large size 16, now size 12 and id like to be a comfy 12 in any shop 🤞
Here's to a good next few weeks!
And to those finishing their MJ journeys, please keep us posted with how it is coming off and if the scales stay steady! ☺️🥳
