Hello everyone
Happy New Year hope you all had a good break and well done everyone on fitness goals and continued losses.
SW:102kg
CW: 85kg
TW: 76.5kg
Total loss to date: 17kg or 2.7 stone
Probably first time ever I have not put on weight over Christmas and managed to lose another kg. I bought a new top for Christmas Day and it was a size 10, that felt good as I've been wearing size 14 tops last several years. I started my annual Dry January on the 30th Dec and am hoping that skipping my weekend wine might help me along the way to my target weight and boost my fitness motivation. Not sure what to do once I get to my target, it's my 50th in May and I would like to be at my target by then. But I'm worried about stopping MJ as dread putting the weight back on now I've lost it. Would be interested to hear how @Booksandcheese gets on - well done on reaching your goal!

@Jean74 a big birthday is a great target. I have similar loses to you 110.6kg to 81.5kg now, I’m hoping to get under 70kg if I can. Do you mind me asking how tall you are? I am 5’6’’ and still very much a size 14/16/M, a 10 feels like a dream!

Booksandcheese · 02/01/2026 18:13

@Jean74 all going well so far. I have lost another 2lb since I stopped and have bought some size 10 clothes! I enjoyed myself over Christmas but didn't go mad. It's a lovely feeling going into January and not thinking about going onto a diet!

LnicMJ · 02/01/2026 22:29

Happy New Year everyone and well done on last 2 weeks...
I weigh on a Monday and last Monday id lost 0.25lb, not much but still a loss over Xmas week which is amazing for me.
SW 13st 3.75lbs
CW 10st 10.25lbs
GW originally 10st, changed to 9st 7lbs.
Going out with the girls for a belated work Xmas do tomorrow for bottomless brunch so if I somehow manage not to gain this week it will be a miracle, but after this weekend im on it as nothing planned for next few months.
Couple of NSV for me these last 2 weeks, managed to go to the gym boxing day, new years eve and new years day! Who even am I anymore lol, also, went to try some trousers on in next, im 5ft1 and started in a tight 16, I could get in to their 12 comfortably and even got a 10 up and done up! Think I was in the teens last time that was possible! So that's the goal clothes wise, although I think next sizes come up a little bigger!
Would like to be in a position to start the process of coming off by March but im flexible with goal dates etc.
Let's see what Mondays scale brings... 🤪🤞

TheArtfulCrow · 03/01/2026 09:13

I'm down 1lb this week. Taking my golden dose of 7.5mg today and then I'm dropping back down to 5mg. I'm unsure as of yet how long I'll stay on 5mg but I'm starting to taper off now and aiming to do the rest with extra exercise etc. I have so many side effects and get very little enjoyment from the food I manage to eat and I'm pretty sick of it 😅

SW: 14st 10lbs
CW: 11st 12lbs
GW: 10st

Jean74 · 03/01/2026 09:22

Hi @SkinnyOatFlatWhiteForMePlease No, I don't mind you asking at all, I'm 5 foot 9 - so a few inches taller than you? I've also lost a lot off my bust since starting this - 4 inches. It feels weird being able to fit into smaller clothes - I am still taking size 14, size 12 and size 10 into changing rooms but very often the 10 fits. In tops, I'm now a 10 in Oliver Bonas, a Small in Uniqlo, 10 in Marks & Spencers, still Medium in Zara though as their stuff is tiny. I ordered a dress from Joanie for Christmas in a 14 as their dresses are quite fitted but the bust is way too loose, I should have got a 12. I think mentally I still feel larger than I physically am! I hope I can stay this size @Booksandcheese is giving me hope that I can continue losing weight even if I stop using MJ. Well done everyone for continuing to support each other. You are all awesome

Booksandcheese · 03/01/2026 10:19

@Jean74 I get what you mean about still mentally feeling bigger. I know i am no longer a 16/18 but i still don't see it when I look in the mirror which is obviously something I need to work on as im so used to having such a negative view of my body and it is not healthy.

100% that's it @Booksandcheese I too have been a 16/18 for several years and I guess had got used to it, although I was never happy about it. I feel like there was an element of denial about how big I had gotten too. One of my old favourite tops is now like a tent, it was really fitted before. So it's a mixture of realising how big I really was and trying to get my head around the new me. I'm glad we are all doing this for ourselves and here's to trying to practice more self-care and positive self image in 2026 xx

Thanks @Jean74, it’s amazing how different we all are when on paper very similar weights - I’m assuming mid forties I’m not going to get any taller 🤣.
I am still in the mindset of needing a size 18/20 XL or XXL so a 14/16 becoming baggy and a M is mind blowing, if I get to a 10/12 I will be happy as my bust has reduced by 8 inches it’s time for a new bra fitting too.

Yes I also need new bras, had to retire a few of the more giant ones 😂Feel this has been a major benefit as neck and back a lot less sore with smaller bust. Well done on your continued losses!

Evening all 👮‍♂️

Had a bit of a fright earlier in the week - went from 12st 3 on Sunday to 12st 5 by Tuesday… the thought of putting 2lb on made me panic somewhat 😳
Actually it was more than somewhat, it’s all I have thought about and have obsessed about it (internally) and done LOADS of extra exercise (10km per day on treadmill for last 4 days plus dog walking plus rowing machine).

So, weigh in today and I’m back to 12st3 which is a relief but I also feel a bit weird about how obsessed I was about it. Does that make sense to anyone?

Had a big wardrobe cull over the holidays too - I am now a size 14 top and bottom and last Monday night wore a pair of jeans - Debenhams Mantaray brand lol 👵🏻😆, they’ve been in storage since 2014, (they are THE most perfect dirty denim colour, I could never part with them) - never thought I’d actually ever wear them again so a good NSV.

I have a few clothing items from years gone by that I can’t part with…jeans from 2009 pre pregnancy; bikini from 2006; and I don’t imagine I will ever fit into the size 10 top shop ‘urban’ drawstring trousers from 1998 but you never know 🙂. If I ever do I will post a photo!

Well done everyone on our 2025 losses, it’s amazing how well we’ve all done since August! Onwards into 2026 💪

Good morning,

well took my first dose of the new pen this morning, I took 3.75mg just for the first week to see how I go, if it’s ok, I’ll go up to 5. I’m working 3, 12 hour days so didn’t want to jump to 5 just in case. I have been extremely hungry this last week, finding myself snacking. I gained 1lb and I’m not surprised tbh, I’m just glad it isn’t more.
although, in my app with the pharmacy this morning he weighed me at 10st3lbs. But my scales said 10st9lbs this morning and this was naked. I had, had breakfast and clothes on in the pharmacy so surely this must be off?
he asked if I wanted to go up due to losing 6kg but I’ve only lost 5lbs in the last 4 weeks and hunger noise is back and zero suppression.

anyway, here’s hoping this new dosage works well and see if I can to 10st2 by the end of this pen. And the hopefully, 1 more pen should be all that’s needed for target.

cw - 10st9lb

new target - 9st4lb

no idea what week I'm on, need to get organised this week!!

I carried on jabbing but only weighed myself yesterday, so i lost 1lb over the 2 weeks of Christmas and i am very happy with that!

Well done everyone, lets make 2026 the best for our health!

LnicMJ · 05/01/2026 11:12

Morning all, weigh day for me today and I've lost 0.75lbs over the last week, the week before was a loss of 0.5lbs. Both small losses but with Christmas, New Year and belated work Christmas party I'm thrilled with the loss. I'd got it in mind I'd be happy with a small gain...
SW 13st 3.75lbs - 5ft1
CW 10st 9.5lbs
GW 9st 7
On 5ml pens
Back on it now, nothing planned for next few months so will see if we can get the scales moving again!
Have a good week all!

There is a half stone difference between my scales and the scales at my GP! I go by my scales to monitor progress, but I like the fact that the official doctor's scales put me half a stone lighter! Our home scales vary quite a bit depending on what type of flooring they're on too. So you can use your own scales to monitor your progress, but enjoy the fact your real weight is actual a bit lighter than that (presuming theirs are more accurate of course!).

I actually asked him “where do you get these scales”. I brought my scales downstairs to the lounge as it’s hard flooring and I’m just the same weight so definitely believing my own scales and that’s where I’m taking progress from. Although, if I go next month and I’m in the 9st bracket on there’s and not mine, I’ll be pinching them😂

so far today on the 3.75mg, my suppression is back. My husband brought me a packet of prawn cocktail from the shop and I did finish them but my god, I feel nauseous now but they were good and I was craving them for weeks there lol. I managed some toast for lunch but other than that, not eaten a lot today. Struggling to get the water in as it seems to be making me dry belch when I drink it. So I’ve opted for lucozade sport at the moment. It’s the same feeling I got on my first ever jag too. Just be my body adjusting to a new dose hopefully.

Somethingsnapped · 05/01/2026 18:19

I weighed myself today for the first time in 2 weeks. I skipped a weigh-in for a week over the Christmas period as I was away with family on top of all the other Christmas stuff. Anyway, I'd lost 1 lb, so I'm pleased! So presumably I stayed stable over Christmas and lost a pound the following week.

I'm still on 2.5 MJ. I'm about a stone and a bit off goal.

SW - 15 st, 11 lbs.
CW - 13 st, 5 lbs.
GW - 12 st (I'm tall).

This is all on my own scales. My GP's scales put me half a stone lighter. I don't think mine are very accurate. So actually my real goal weight is 11 and a half stone.

SkinnyOatFlatWhiteForMePlease · 05/01/2026 19:59

Small loses over Christmas are amazing, I was overjoyed to stay the same.

sfraxx · 06/01/2026 09:27

Good morning,

little update on my 3.75mg dose. I’m so glad I didn’t jump straight to 5 as I am dreadfully unwell with it. Having terrible stomach cramps and awful nausea and dry belching. Without tmi, I feel that I maybe be best staying close to a toilet. I am off work today thankfully but on my first of 3, 12 hours tomorrow and hopefully I don’t feel like this. I need to nip to the school for a meeting and my plan is to come straight home and get a nap before home time.

please tell me it gets easier lol!

sfraxx · 07/01/2026 15:36

Good afternoon,

How are we all doing this week?

just thought I’d do a wee update, currently on my dinner break and today, I have been craving foods and snacks and snacked all day. Yesterday I managed 2 spoonfuls of a dinner all day I couldn’t eat a thing! Today, polar opposite😂
my coworker said she’s having a Chinese for dinner and I have craved it since. My goodness, I’ve never craved food like this in a longggg time!
I’ve decided, on Monday I will be taking my full 5mg dose and have scheduled to do nothing the Tuesday lol, I’m off until Thursday next week after my 3, so will get kids to school and fight off the dreaded side effects the Tuesday.

I hope you’re all doing well!

SkinnyOatFlatWhiteForMePlease · 08/01/2026 18:47

I don’t know about anyone else but I am genuinely enjoying being back in my ‘usual’ routine this week.

Wellfuckme · 09/01/2026 08:03

SW 18st 8lb
CW 15st 8lb
Only 1lb loss this week, which is good but disappointing but yesterday I was hungry, really hungry.

Don't think that I have drunk enough either this week.

Yes!! it was hard on Monday/Tuesday getting back to being very accurate with food logging, but now I'm loving having structure back!

Hi everyone, weigh in day for me and I've somehow managed to lose 5lbs! I can only imagine that my loss is a combination of water weight after Christmas excess coming off and my period being last week. I've dropped down to 5mg again now as I found the suppression on 7.5mg to be far too much.

CW: 11st 7lbs

My weigh day isn’t until Monday, but I weighed myself today (I won’t log it until Monday) and I am finally first target: 10st7lbs!
on to the next target of 9st4lbs. Hoping to be there by end of April.
I’ve just ordered my dress for my birthday party in a size 10, I also ordered a 12 just in case lol. Although, I will be doing full 5mg dose on Monday as I’m definitely struggling with hunger and food noise after a couple days. Xx
