sorry I haven’t messaged. I’ve ended up in hospital with severe stomach and back pains. I’ve been advised to stop mounjaro until they can’t get to the bottom of this.

will keep checking on everyone else’s journey at the moment though🩷

I wanted to share this great app called MeThreeSixty. You enter your weight, it scans you and gives you your measurements. It has a free or paid for version. The paid for does more measurements and lets you compare more past scans vs the last one.

Must say it’s encouraging to me because even on slow weeks of minimal loss I can see I am losing inches.

You can rotate the image and try adding on 50lb or taking 30lb off.

Weigh day today... 12st 3.25lbs
That's 14.5lbs off since I started 5 weeks ago. Noticing a difference in my clothes, happy with progress so far...

I’ve just weighed in at the end of week 7 and I’ve lost 6.45 kg which is just over a stone. It’s slow compared to some, but I’m very happy with 2lb a week as it feels sustainable.

I had a couple of weeks when my weight loss stalled but I’d made the decision to stay on 2.5. It really wasn’t working for me and I felt very sluggish and quite constipated. Earlier this week I took 3.75. Ive had no side effects other than feeling more thirsty than normal, but the main thing is that I’ve got my energy back, the constipation is better and I’m feeling suppression again. I feel like I did when I took the first couple of doses and so much better. I was nervous about going up the doses as I was worried about side effects but I’m now very glad I did. I feel I’ve kick started things again and feel very positive.

thanks for this. Today was my 7th shot and I felt for the last two I was on too low a dose and should’ve gone up to 5mg second pen, not 2.5mg. Hunger has been quite rough.

So this morning I did 2.5mg (60 clicks) and then thought eff it and put a new needle in and did another 30 clicks. So that’s my first 3.75mg dose.

next week I will do the remaining 30 clicks plus the final 2.5mg. I did get the golden dose out of the first pen last month, so only getting three weeks out of my second pen feels okay. Better than doing two more 2.5mg and white-knuckling it through a fortnight of hunger and super slow weight loss.

Hello hello hello hello, sorry for the radio silence, and hopefully I've not missed anything big. Hope you're all doing well.

I'm now down to the golden dose of pen number two, and I have two more 2.5mg pens in the fridge following the pre-September ordering thing. However, I've just ordered another at 5mg. I've stalled, and tbf it's a mixture of less exercise now I'm back at my desk and the hunger creeping back in. I've not been going mad, certainly not binging etc, but there's been more snacks and things which was the biggest issue. I've not gained but just stayed still.

Now I'm in a position where I'm thinking, do I hold onto the 2.5mg pens and use them to tirate down... and go straight in for the 5mg pen, OR continue rocking along on the 2.5mg, use them up and then go to the 5mg.

Not really sure what to do? I wanted to stay as low as I could for as long as I could and my husband was really like "only do it for three months..." well, I'm down but I"m not quite where I want to be yet... ARgh hard to decide.

On pen 2 and last three doses have been 2 x 3mg and 1 x 3.75, by taking extra from my 2.5mg pens (inc golden dose).

So from tomorrow I'll try going up to 5mg as have two 5mg pens in the fridge. Other resolutions - more water, more exercise, less wine! Also it may be coincidence but any time I've had bread (not loads) it doesn't seem to help so will try cutting that out.

Yeah, I did a few tests and looked at my DNA (lol I know right) and apparently I'm like predisposed to being more sensitive to carbs. I do better with a high protein, lower carb diet. Low carb/keto is too much but I definitely find, even if I reduce sugar or bread, it does stall my weight loss.

I haven’t stalled completely, I have drastically slowed down, half a pound off this week.

I went out for dinner on Saturday night and then had cake and a bigger meal on Sunday so reset today for a new week.

I've stalled too. First week on 5mg and no loss at all. It makes no sense as if I'd have eaten what I've eaten this week on a 'normal' diet i would have definitely lost. I'm losing faith a little bit as I lost 3 stone on the Fast 800 in 12 weeks and I've lost 1.5 on mounjaro in 9 weeks and it's cost me a bomb.

Yeah I have stalled. Been logging everything. Been exercising hard. The only difference between the halcyon days of month one on 2.5mg and now halfway through month 2 is I have eaten sourdough bread a few times.

I read somewhere that weight loss does often slow in the second month (weeks 6-8 seem to be common) and I know I’m building muscle and losing inches and that 1.5lb loss weekly is normal and good, lessens risk of hair loss, gall stones, loose skin etc.

I know all this but it’s fucking expensive and I started September at 183lb and three weeks later I’m at 181.5lb. Been hungry for the last two weeks.

I hope switching up to 3.75mg does something.

I've also stalled, I was delighted with my first month's loss but this second month I've only lost a couple of pounds. I was planning to stay on 2.5mg for as long as possible but have decided now to increase my dose. Friday will be my 10th dose and first at 5mg.

It's so frustrating as I've done nothing differently to the first month. I'm logging my calories, rarely snacking, drinking a lot of water and yet my weight loss has stalled. I used to eat so much more so I can't understand how I've not lost anything these last 3 weeks.

Then 3 weeks at 3.3 and this week is the first time I have felt any desire to snack and my weight loss has really slowed.

Im thinking of moving to 4 on Friday and seeing how that goes. It’s all so personal and trial and error. For me I’m content to extend the doses as my pen is in the fridge, even with official guidelines saying otherwise.

I've not been keeping mine in the fridge as I'm staying with family at the moment and I don't want them knowing! If I was keeping it in the fridge I would be happy to use the pen over a longer period too.

I had bad constipation when I started on 2.5 and worry that will come back again when moving up dose. My biggest fear of side effects is D&V though. I worry I'll be sick or have an upset stomach at work!

@NeedSleepNowwith any luck it goes smoothly, worst case you have a ‘tummy bug’ and excuse yourself home. It’s so difficult as no way of predicting how any of us will react.

So far I have been methodical about having 1L of water and a protein drink in the morning before I inject and I haven’t had any D&V symptoms.

I’m getting towards the end of my 7th week, I increased to 3.75 on my last two jabs as I felt like I was starting to get cravings back and I need to be completely out of the habit before I come off this. Total loss is now 1st 6.6lbs. I’m now at 48% progress.

So, just took my second golden does with my 2.5mg pen, and i've been rotating around my stomach so I thought why not give the thigh a go. That way, if there's this weird magical supression increase from adjusting then I'll keep going with the 2.5mg for a bit longer and if not, up to 5mg.

My weight is currently 85.9kg, my lowest I got to was 85.7kg which was about 3 weeks ago. I'm actually very reassured that everybody else is having a stall, because that does mean I'm part of a pattern and not an anomaly. Part and parcel for going for this rather than aggressive diets etc, is that it takes food out the equation and I can build more habits around entertaining myself. I've not been consisten with the gym because the kids back to school and my DH was away etc, but I've been able to kind of happily pick it all back up. I'm finding I'm saying no to things a lot more now based on how I feel rather than I can't physically eat anything.

Still early days though and I'm doing more strength so I have a sneaking suspicion that i've lost fat and not muscle which is why scales haven't moved.

Bizarrely I’ve lost 7.5lbs this week. That’s after gaining 2 last week and only losing 1 the week before. Maybe a little catch up whoosh?! Pleased though as I hit the 2 stone mark which has made me motivated for the week ahead!
