Hi @Moanranger
Yes it's confusing. But the flexi plan is £15 per month to stay on the books, with no medication. Conti and taper plans - you just pay for the pen, same amount on either plan. You sign up for a plan ( it doesn't matter if conti or taper in reality) with a £5 payment. Once your application is approved (in a day or two), you order in the same way as before but your pen will have £25 automatically deducted, you don't need a code.

KeepUndercover · 26/11/2025 16:17

I don't really get the paying to stay on their books thing. I'm with SwiftDoctor and you can come off and reorder again within 12 months. I could stay off and just order a pen before the 12 months is up to cover myself and it would be cheaper than Oushk's £15 a month AND I'd have a pen.

KrankyKumquat · 26/11/2025 16:46

@KeepUndercover
No i agree, I always imagined they'd drop it once other pharmacies came on board with maintenance, but it must be still working for them on some level . I wouldn't pay it, only stuck with them for the moment due to some cracking discounts since September and for less hassle as I use up a stockpile while microdosing ( shifting the delivery dates back everytime they open up the calendar 😉)

PissedOffNeighbour22 · 26/11/2025 18:31

Nice to see some chat on this thread. Hope @FlappyFishis recovering well.

I went over 60kg for the first time in months this week 😣. It came off quickly but it’s still good to see im not putting masses of weight on while I’m reducing dose. Currently using 38 clicks from a 10mg pen so no idea what that is but I’d guess just under 7mg.

I ordered from Farmeci this week as it was a great deal on 2.5mg. They did the checks and despatched really quickly but I was annoyed that I paid £4.99 for delivery then Royal Mail held it back an extra day. Could have just gone for the free delivery 😑.

I usually use simple online pharmacy but they’ve got too expensive as they’re doing referral discounts instead now but I don’t know anyone on MJ who pays privately, so I’m going to keep moving around to find cheaper prices. I still have far too many pens stashed though.

Choux · 26/11/2025 18:45

Still ordering a 10mg pen from Pharmulous each month. I am only taking 7-8mg per week and I now have 4.3 pens so about 7 months supply. I planned to stop ordering to use up my stash but a) I am scared that in 7 months Pharmulous won’t let me re order and b) I am hedging against the bonus dose being removed from pens so figure I might as well keep stocking up.

Today’s new pen is good till March 2027 so, even if I keep reducing my dose, it will be several months before I will need to stop buying because I can’t use it all before the expiry date.

KrankyKumquat · 26/11/2025 19:27

@PissedOffNeighbour22
38 clicks from a 10mg pen is 6.2mg

PissedOffNeighbour22 · 27/11/2025 05:30

Thanks @KrankyKumquat :)

@Choux I have a compulsion to keep ordering! I really don’t need any more but I’m still worried I’ll get cut off. I think simple online pharmacy are happy to keep prescribing for up to 3mths break but I keep finding good deals and ordering anyway.

Does anyone know where to buy decent needles for extracting? Usual supplier no longer sells them and I can only find ones that are described as for measuring and don’t have any safety info.

PissedOffNeighbour22 · 27/11/2025 07:08

For those asking about Oushk, I’ve had an email this morning about Black Friday. They have 1p delivery and for repeat patients use BLACK25 for £25 off and maintenance get £30 off automatically.

no idea why I get emails from them as I’ve never signed up 😕

GrimDamnFanjo · 27/11/2025 09:20

Waving to us all, I’ve got two 5mg and a 2.5 reallly tempted to order another from oushk . I’m still stuck at 26 bmi. I’m going to go down the strength training route shortly.

Moanranger · 27/11/2025 09:35

@PissedOffNeighbour22 you can get 20 syringes for £5.99 on eBay, I have been buying BD brand , but smaller packs no longer available. This is “Luer” I think the brand name, but look the same. I need to buy also.
Weirdly, I injected bonus dose with my last syringe on Tuesday, and got almost instant suppression. Normally it takes a couple of days to kick in.
Still maintaining between 64.5-65.5, despite Christmas food now creeping in. Can’t complain!

KrankyKumquat · 27/11/2025 16:53

Just seen the oushk email. Too good to miss, especially as I can put delivery back, but really don't need another pen. I've also got £50 credit for completing a very quick MN's survey on Oushk last month - I'm never going to be able to move from them at this rate 😅

FlappyFish · 28/11/2025 01:51

For those still on the MN Facebook group… fully clothed photos of pre and post breast augmentation.

Moanranger · 28/11/2025 19:40

I finally managed to place my order with Oushk, bit of a shambles, but done. I should have 6 doses from remaining pen, doing 5mg from a 7.5 pen. The next 5 mg pen delivered in Jan, at a cost of £157, so only a bit over the £144 I was paying before prices skyrocketed. On 5mg, I feel good suppression & less tiredness. Will I ever come off?
I am hoping further promos, discounts etc emerge in the new year to keep doses affordable

PissedOffNeighbour22 · 30/11/2025 02:15

Thanks @Moanranger and @QueenOfHiraeth I’ll take a look at both and get some ordered asap.

I’ve been so hungry this week since reducing the dose a little more. I can’t see me ever being able to fully come off MJ like I’d hoped I would be by now.

Flapearedknave · 30/11/2025 19:05

Hello all! It's funny this thread should be chatty again! I've just ordered my first wegovy pen. Decided to start low and see how I go rather than going the full high doses straight away.

I have been taking 10mg every 2 weeks ISH of MJ and that's been absolutely fine.

I have started my immunosuppressive meds for my MS now, and my hair is falling out at a rapid rate. It's horrific. Even my AI agreed that we need to start logging it as symptom after sending a pic of the hair fallout after a hair wash, whereas with my MJ loss pics he said it was fine!

Hope you're all doing well.

KrankyKumquat · 01/12/2025 12:08

@PissedOffNeighbour22
I've been really hungry the last week or two too. I swear the cold, damp and dark weather isn't helping although I don't remember that being a big deal last year. I've been craving carbs particularly.

I was trundling along quite happily at 1.25mg for several weeks but increased dose to 2.5mg on Friday. I didn't think it was making any difference but today, I can feel it's really kicked in. Amazing how much impact such a small change can have.

I've gritted my teeth and managed to stay within a lb of my goal but it's been a bit miserable and I certainly don't want to spend the rest of my life, feeling like I'm fighting to maintain. So, I'm all for upping the dose to make things a bit easier.

I did my first free weights session at the gym last week and while I enjoyed it, it's aggravated an old shoulder injury. So I've just ordered some resistance bands as I think they'll be a bit gentler/more controllable. Do those of you who know about such things, reckon this will have any effect a couple of times a week on top of 1x session of Reformer pilates or am I deluding myself about how much I need to be doing?

Moanranger · 01/12/2025 15:23

@KrankyKumquat if you are doing the right exercise & correctly 3x a week should be fine. Always good to work with a personal trainer. The key is to choose the correct exercise & have weights/resistance heavy enough so that you start getting fatigued on the last couple of reps. I think weights/resistance more effective than Pilates, this tends to help general toning but less effective in increasing strength. Good luck!

KrankyKumquat · 01/12/2025 15:49

Thanks @Moanranger
I love the pilates - as much for mental health as anything but recognise it's having next to no impact on my actual fitness it seems.
I found this list of band exercises to try first (I don't have a heart condition thankfully, but liked the combination of words and pictures 😊 ☺️)

KeepUndercover · 01/12/2025 16:46

@KrankyKumquat all exercise is doing you good. I know currently we are all meant to be LIFTING HEAVY, but honestly everything is good. I aim for doing what I can and what I enjoy rather than perfection.

KrankyKumquat · 02/12/2025 12:54

@KeepUndercover
Yes, you're right. Something is definitely better than nothing. I did my 11th Reformer Pilates class last night and was feeling a bit forlorn about my age and lack of strength, compared to everyone else there....until my trainer pointed out that, for the first time, I'd done the entire balancing bit of the set without a wobble, let alone my usual big stick (iykyk😅). I had a good look in the mirror and I've definitely got a bit of definition in my upper arms now too. Baby steps...

PissedOffNeighbour22 · 18/12/2025 10:50

I’ve put several more pounds on so seem to be struggling on 6mg. I’m hungry a lot and making bad choices too. Also haven’t been able to do my usual small amount of exercise over last few weeks due to work being so busy and I can tell my back is going flabby again. I’m about half a stone heavier than I was in April for my wedding. Dread to think how much I’d have put on if I’d come off the jab by now as I was hoping.

I finally declared being on MJ to my life insurance and it sounds like they still aren’t used to people being on it as it’s been with the underwriters for ages. Sounds like the excess payment I had for being fat will be the same or very similar cost for being on MJ 😑

KeepUndercover · 19/12/2025 21:29

Sorry to hear you're struggling @PissedOffNeighbour22, are you going to up your dose?

Georock · 19/12/2025 22:29

Sorry to jump on this thread but I really want to start it but worried about dude effects such as hair loss. Is it as serious as they make out?

PissedOffNeighbour22 · 20/12/2025 00:32

@KeepUndercover I’m going to keep it as it is for now as it’s taken ages to get down to this point. I’ll see how Christmas goes and then try to cut back on calories.
In January my mortgage goes up by £250 per month so I need to stop wasting money on takeaways and I need to avoid going back up the doses due to cost.
