Anybody else planning to start in September?

I’ve been procrastinating for months but decided to go for it despite the price increases. Waiting for my delivery from Medexpress and planning on 1st Sept start.

You're probably better off starting your own thread if you want to find people with similar medical issues as you.

I am insulin resistant and in June my hba1c was 49 so diabetic... no medication, as my doctor advised me to make changes to my diet. Which is why I started the injection and chose Mounjaro iver Wegovy.

Totally forgot... I had a blood tested last week and my hba1c is now 45... yay...! Going in the right direction.

I did wonder about starting a thread, but TBH, there are so many sections and subsections on this forum, I'm a bit overwhelmed.
Just really want to chat with others on the same injections and compare notes so hope it's OK to post here?

i just saw you said you wanted to talk to others with the sane conditions as you. I think a new thread in the WLI would be the best place... to find others like you taking the injection

@MoreIcedLattePlease We're at the same weight now, from very similar starting weights. Have you noticed any changes yet in your body? I was trying to figure out from the photos if I have lost weight in my face but I can’t see any difference. some of my clothes feel looser around my stomach area but that’s about it. I feel better though so that’s a big win!

Hey all. Hope you’re all doing well. It was 3rd Jab for me yesterday and today I must admit I haven’t had as much suppression as I have the last couple of weeks…. Not sure if I’ll hold out the week if it starts to creep in… so far I’ve lost 7lbs most of which was the first week. I’m going to up my activity though and do a few cardio workouts. I’m part of the body coach app (Joe wicks) and managed to get up to the advanced level. I’m not sure I could handle that level right now but will start off with a couple of 30min workouts and see if it helps with the weight loss. X

DH is pissing me off, but also realising how difficult it has been to lose weight in the past.

i’ve been out all day and he does the shopping and cooking. He gave a couple of options for dinner and I said they were fine, but I wanted to avoid bread and want something high protein with plenty of veg.

He’s bought pizza 🤬. It’s fine - I’m sure it will be nice and I haven’t eaten much today so still in calories, but it’s annoying.

Looks like we might need a new thread soon! @outofofficeagain, will you do the honours?

Help guys the food noise has started to creep in! Next jab day is Friday - thinking it might be time to move up 🙈 scared of the side effects….

I’m on my third week of starter dose. Only lost 3lbs 🙁 is this normal and I’ll lose more as my dose goes up? I have drastically reduced my calorie intake to the point I’m having one light meal a day and maybe a yoghurt.
