I can’t believe it really. Some of my size 10 trousers are a bit roomy now. Still a firm size 12 on top as the boobs are refusing to get smaller. Still G cup!!

@bluelimesyou need some Loop earplugs. I feel murderous on train journeys sometimes if I don’t have them with me!

I’m 2 1/2 pounds away from my final goal of 10 stone 7, and it seems to be taking months!!! We’ll get there, consistency and determination, we’ve come this far, it won’t defeat us!!

Morning losers, struggling to keep up with the chat due to work travel. Have a couple of hours free time to check out the shops either in Malmö or Copenhagen. Latter is better, but Sweden is cheaper.

But isn't it just so much more fun to shop for Xmas outfits this year?

@2025istheyeari good luck with interviews! I'm waiting to hear back from one place I would be really interested in, it's been 2 weeks now without a word. But it was 3 weeks between the last interviews and it's a very reputable recruiter, so I'm thinking it's unlikely they would just ghost me.
Plus, the company is in some ways similar to my current one, and I just checked, I applied in October and got an offer in April. Anything faster than that would be an improvement 😁
I am not very patient person though, so would really like to hear, one way or the other..

My misophonia is getting worse as I age.

I just get the M&S beauty advent calendar. It’s the only thing that gets me out of bed some December mornings. It’s a ridiculous extravagance but one I can’t bear to give up.

Just hopping on for a quick moan and stomp of feet at the unfairness of metabolism. Just went to get my lunch at the work canteen. There's a guy there with a MOUNTAIN of food on his plate, yet thin as a rake. He had 2 lasagnes, quiche, 4 eggs plus more stuff buried under that lot, it was literally piled high. How come women get the short straw?! Carefully picking at small amounts of food to try and lose weight! Pah. 😠

@MJalltheway I’ve never bought a beauty advent calendar either and I doubt I will. I feel annoyed by my metabolism after reading about what you’ve just seen! I’d just like to be able to eat ‘normal’ portions without gaining.

This old body has been immersed in the hotel pool and boy does it feel great. We’re just considering a walk to Lidl for some lunch things, we’re half board and don’t really need big lunches as well. Meeting my friend tomorrow. Cannot wait!

@MJalltheway I live with one of those men. Well 2 actually as DS takes after DH. Both thin as rake and can ingest amazing amounts of food. When DH was getting a little softer in his middle age, he proudly told me that he skipped his third croissant and lost several kilos that week...

My MIL bought me a beauty advent calendar a few years ago. I still have the majority of the stuff, unopened as I haven’t got a clue what you’re supposed to do with it all.

Just been for my first (and subsequently discovered only) pelvic floor physio session post hysterectomy. I was in a bad mood before I went and an even worse one after. I’m horribly out of shape with a knackered core, it seems. I was given the usual elastic band and leaflets DIY at home treatment. I can look forward to a prolapse in a decade or so then. Feeling very despondent 😭

@Polkadotdash was it a 'real' pelvic floor physio? Saying this because I went to one a few times - it requires an internal examination, but solid advice and a plan to improve. I paid privately.

No, no I don't need one. Am at the moment talking myself our of buying a burgundy dress from Other stories - I already have a burgundy skirt, t-shirt and cardi. I have no need for a dress. But tried it and it fits so beautifully..

@Thelittlestranger yes it was the NHS physio. She did do an internal examination too. That was a joy free experience on a Wednesday morning. I’m thinking I might need to look at private physio now. No idea of cost. Maybe have to sell all the clothes I own to pay for that! She was lovely and told me just how weak my pelvic floor is. So I was kind of expecting a ‘so do those exercises and we will see you in two weeks’ kind of thing. But it was very much ‘here’s what you need to do. Godspeed!’

Oh @HeidiLite that burgundy dress is the stuff of dreams! Such a lovely shape.
