Medexpress- prescribing? Delivering?

Has anyone has an order prescribed since Friday? They are not replying- or even receiving emails due to the volume, so now I’m getting worried. Is there any way they could be pocketing the money and not delivering? The process was so fast before the price increase news, and now it’s a brick wall. I’m at the end of a pen and nothing to use next. As well as going away for a week, so anxious it’ll be warm and wasted. Any updates from Medexpress people would be appreciated!

I’ve been with them since February, am on 7.5 ordered on Thursday and it arrived on Friday, then noticed the email saying I could order again rather than waiting 28 days so did a repeat order on Saturday and it’s still under clinical review. It’s always been virtually instant so will wait and see what happens.

I am finding it quite hard to understand how some orders placed later than mine (15/8) are being delivered already. I’m trying to be patient! I had a very polite respond to my email just apologising and reassuring me it will be dealt in 7-10 days. I’m fine for another 2 weeks.

That's great news! Did you meet the criteria for it free on the nhs or just to get the prescription? My bmi is only 37 and although I have high BP and sleep apnea I don't have a high enough bmi and enough co morbid.

I met the criteria with BMI and I have type 2 diabetes. Also have sleep apnea although didn’t realise that was a possible co-morbidity to meet the threshold. Have to speak to GP monthly but it’s only one visit every 3 months and the rest are calls. The fact that I’m still eligible for it to be prescribed by the NHS reminded me that even though I’ve lost over a stone, I still have a long way to go!!

I’ve just had a message from Med Express saying my order is delayed but will be honoured at the old price. It’s so frustrating to read that others who have ordered afterwards have had orders despatched. I’m only just finished my first month and can’t continue at the moment until my pen arrives. It’s all a mess, especially for those of us who are just ordering as normal from one supplier and not ordering multiple pens from various places.

They have taken ten days to ask me a question about my history, which they know about as it's only been with them. A day to reply to my message, and now an email saying thanks but 'Due to high demand, it may take a few days for the team to assess your suitability for this treatment and approve your prescription.'
This is wild and unfair as others are somehow on a different pathway and getting approved almost instantly!!

I’m waiting for a 2.5. I thought the higher doses were the ones with most shortages.

I ordered a 7.5mg pen on the 18th - I've only had 5mg pens so a change in dose. I had it confirmed this evening and it's now awaiting dispatch.

Medexpress are an absolute shit show. When everything’s died down and stock levels are recovered I’m going elsewhere - probably Ooushk. They ain’t seeing another penny piece from me.

Ordered a 7.5 pen from ME on 15th August and I’m still waiting. I hadn’t ordered from them since May so maybe that’s why they’re delaying my order. Payment was processed though. I’m fuming. I’ve sent a query through their contact page. I usually order from elsewhere and this has solidified my resolve to avoid ME in future!

I’ve ordered 7.5mg over a week ago sent 2 emails no reply sent a complaint been told there out of stock and I can either wait for stock to come back in but they can’t say when that will be or have a refund.
I’ve been with them since start of my journey but won’t be staying after this.

Finally had the clinical review approved last night and my 5mg order from 15/8 will be dispatch today hopefully. I can order another pen from ME before prices rise, so rather than go through another provider I am thinking of it!

Hmmm I haven’t got that email. My order from the 15th is just sitting at awaiting clinical review. I am a returning customer but with a 12 month gap between orders. I ordered out of desperation as my regular supplier had no stock so placed an order with two suppliers I previously used plus a new supplier who had stock. The new supplier provided me a pen so I am now just waiting to see what happens with my MedExpress order as it’s at old prices.

I might email them today to see what the story is.

@Choux same here, I haven't had that email and also ordered 15/8. Just checked status and I'm still awaiting clinical review. I did email at the weekend and just got a note back saying it will get dealt with in 7-10 days. 10 days is this week.

I don’t know if the 7-10 days is working days or just days. It’s very frustrating either way. I can wait but i’d just like some communication and clarity as to what’s going on.

I didn't get email either so I have raised a complaint. I have worked out that if I did get my pen when I ordered it, I could have been doing the third jab from it this week. Therefore needing to replace it next week!

The reason I have medication left is because I have only taken a half dose since the news on the 15th.

I can even ask my prescriber for advice as they are swomped
