Medexpress- prescribing? Delivering?

Has anyone has an order prescribed since Friday? They are not replying- or even receiving emails due to the volume, so now I’m getting worried. Is there any way they could be pocketing the money and not delivering? The process was so fast before the price increase news, and now it’s a brick wall. I’m at the end of a pen and nothing to use next. As well as going away for a week, so anxious it’ll be warm and wasted. Any updates from Medexpress people would be appreciated!

Just noticed the re-order treatment option is there for the 5mg I ordered a while back but the 7.5mg & 10mg says re-order unavailable

I ordered 5mg on the 15th and it’s been pending since then. I only started on the 1 August but it’s been going so well. In desperation I ordered another 2.5 dose from Asda pharmacy but now both are pending approval and I’m nearly £300 down and no sodding pen!

I ordered 5mg on 15/8 and still waiting. I'm still in clinical review. I've had no communication.

Same @ThirdStorm . I did manage to get through on the phone last week and was assured it would be with me by the end of August but I don’t think that’s true.

I ordered on 22nd and ME have just cancelled my order

@ThereIsAlwaysWine - did MedEx email to confirm your refund? When I cancelled my order last week, they said the refund could take up to 10 business days.

Does anyone know if stock will stabilise in September? I kind of almost don’t mind paying more, I just want my bloody pen!

my GP confirmed today that I meet the criteria to be prescribed mounjaro by the practice. Sent a script to the local chemist which o can collect tomorrow. Absolutely thrilled as the payment/stock issues were stressing me out. Now trying to cancel my med express order! Have emailed them.

That's great news! Did you meet the criteria for it free on the nhs or just to get the prescription? My bmi is only 37 and although I have high BP and sleep apnea I don't have a high enough bmi and enough co morbid.

Looks like the only stock is 2.5 and 5. No option now to order any higher pens. They don't have any and are too fuckin scared to tell people. Don't even know what to do now that I'm 2 days past my injection date. Pharmacy2u not working, asda have no 7.5mg. Haven't tried anywhere else because I think it's just going to be the same everywhere anyway!

Feel right now like I'm addict trying score some crack.

IQ Doctor said last week they was happy with why I had More than four week gap in orders and it had progressed via email but it was still saying awaiting more information in the app. So I chased this up today. They said it probably wouldn't be approved and backtracked to saying I need to go down to 5mg. So that's also made zero progress on approval. Had a email from Farmeci as a past supplier today saying they will not get any higher dose pens from the manufacturer until September. That must be true for all of the suppliers?

It's making me feel a bit mucky today. It's a legal safe drug used by the nhs that I more than meet usage criteria for. But here I am, hands down the back of the sofa desperately looking for anything I can find.

It's Pissing me off and I don't belive come September the 1st there will be capacity to approve and dispatch all of this backlog and everyone else who got a pen mid Aug but is then running out. so even I got this very delayed pen it won't be back to normal by the 1st.

I sent yet another email yesterday for 2.5 and received this - ordered 10.00am on 15/8 and still pending

This is why I decided to half my dose. It gives me some time but I doubt it will tide me over until the stock filters back into real orders. There's a world of difference from the manufacturer releasing stock on the 1st and have a pen in hand by the 7th or even the 14th.

Also my gap in orders is now 9 weeks I'm fucked whatever happens too if my order get cancelled. I'm praying someone will just hold it and then honour it when the stock comes in.

How can anyone honour my 12.5mg knowing my last pen was past the 8 weeks? It's all going to be cancelled.

I ran out a week ago but this month I couldn’t afford to order until yesterday. Ordered 5mg - I’m on ongoing ME customer - yesterday morning, approved by lunch time and this afternoon I’ve received my tracking number. I won’t believe it until I see it but it sounds like their whole system is in chaos. I honestly didn’t think my order would go through, having read this thread over the last few days.

This is infuriating. I'm still in clinical review for 5mg from 16th and yet new orders are going out.

My first order, placed on 15th August, was prescribed today: hasn’t dispatched yet but at least it’s coming.

i have a second order (18th August) still awaiting clinical review. But at least the first pen will hopefully come soon.

Just received the dreaded email to say my dose (12.5mg) is out of stock and they don’t know when it’ll be back 🙈 really don’t know what to do now. Have the golden dose left to tide me over next week but after that nothing…

Is there any point in trying another provider if stock issues are likely to be the same? I also don’t know whether to just make the switch to Wegovy.. or go cold turkey and go it alone, the latter terrifies me as I have 3st to lose still!!

I’m getting back from holiday today. I panicked as there were so few places with stock of 10mg, so ordered from med express on Saturday. I hadn’t ordered with them for almost three months. I thought there was no way, with the gap in ordering and the bank holiday and all the delays that it would get delivered before I got home. It got authorised immediately and sent out the same day. I’m home in about an hour and it’s waiting for me in my safe outdoor space.

I’ve been waiting since 15th August as a regular customer . I was “escalated” due to waiting so long but nothing yet. I did get an email saying they would honour the price though so hopefully I’ll get it soon. Luckily I have doses left.
