Happy 1st birthday to us all - somewhere in this month we gathered our courage and started what would be a memorable journey for us all - made some hopefully forever friends

Gather round my little auggies 😍 and we are all doing amazingly so be proud of yourselves

the amount of weight per person lost varies from 1-2stone - 3-4 - 5-6 - 7+

in a year or for some 11-11.5mths - I was middle of August - we have totally changed our body shape - reduced our bmi and weight and hopefully improved our health

some are at goal - and working out how to maintain

some nearing it

some still have weight they want to lose

Some have stopped for cost / various reasons and blowing baby dust your way to those who are ttc

but ALL of us have lost weight and I love the fact we are all so supportive to each other over weight and our general day to day lives

maybe if brave - post your before and after pics to see how far we have come in a year

It’s interesting that oushk have different options for maintenance, I’m on 12.5 for maintenance and they are happy for me to stay there as long as I want. If my bmi goes below 19 they’ll cut me off, but I do wonder if that would be immediate so they’d expect me to go cd turkey. I don’t intend to go below 20/21 and my weight loss is so slow to almost be non existent now, but it’s an interesting thought that they don’t force tapering.

I think as it’s a new company I was trying

wheee as been with O for months they leave me to bumble along

plus if you aren’t really losing - where I seem to stil lose and not trying

The only way I'm getting well positioned boobies nowadays is sewing with them 😆

I have just had an apology from Juniper, confirmation of my cancellation and confirmation of my refund. At least they have sorted my refund promptly. Thankfully Cloud came through with my pen so I am ok for a little while now. Phew!

NippyNinjaCrab · 31/08/2025 16:55

@PoemsForTea i love this! What is it 🤔 a phone holder? I need a new poo bag and treat bag do you make those?

I sent a message through Oushk website asking about the order as its still processing from 22/8. I said to DH I bet that even though it was in stock after the time of order at old prices, I could be charged September prices, especially if they do change the dose of the pen.

Well hopefully we will be moving mid October yipeeeee. I hate moving and unless I croak it this is my last move. When I left exhtw I had 4 house moves within 12 months! The flat is coming along for DSS and his partner to move into hopefully for Christmas.

Have a lovely break @Azuresky68 I have also been having a detox from all electronics unless its essential. I am trying to keep my phone use to a minimum and not reply to messages when I am out at all. I pretend that mobiles aren't around and try to enjoy my surroundings. The only exception is using my camera on the phone for pics when I am out as I dont have an actual camera.

Despite being hungry and eating more I seem to be choosing all foods really well and maintaining or losing a pound. Lowest I have been is 10st 10lbs and that's fine for me and how I look. This morning I was 10st 12lbs.

20bloodypounds · 31/08/2025 17:50

Needing to remember that fish and chips and pints of lager are not the way to go. Will probably indulge once 🤞

@Azuresky68 that's the thing, isn't it. We've learned that we can enjoy something on holiday, but not every day or all the time. And actually I know I eno=joy these things so much more for them being a real occasional enjoyment.

PoemsForTea · 31/08/2025 20:10

@NippyNinjaCrabHa, yeah it is just a wee purse. I have made dog treats and poo bag ones.
I did a custom made dog walk one for a workmate recently and today did this commission. I affectionately refer to it as the 'Greg Wallet' 😆 This one just needs the elastic adding

I have my video call work curate this afternoon. 2w + after I tried to get a pen

I assume they will be on aug price - cc says £161

glad I put on cc as don’t have the spare cash for them to keep it for 2/3w

Juniper - Tbh I can’t fault them. They have replied

they answered in a day when I joined them. They did say to have a lower pen which I do agree with as still losing weight and I want to maintain. Wanted a 10 and they gave me 7.5 but I do agree with them as lost nearly a stone more then I wanted to even eating 600c extra a day (sorry my auggies )

and have just emailed saying cancelled - I cancelled then sat and they said they would reply in opening hours mon to Fri 9-5 and have 4hrs later

so happy I got a cheap pen with £75 off and my free scales. Tho they have their name on them so prob won’t use them 😂 esp as Make me 1.5lbs heavier then my scales

but they have been quick. Pen with me a day after they approved me And was easy to cancel as know some worried. Me including

Glad you got your refund confirmation @Blondeshavemorefun I would have taken the pen if they had honoured the price advertised when I applied but they didnt and that isnt on. I might look at them again in the future once everything has settled down.

Blondeshavemorefun · 01/09/2025 12:58

Me too. I think they may be good. Okay I know have a discount again 😂

@Blondeshavemorefun how many pens do you have now then? . Glad you got thr juniper, they obviously didn't like me.. lol.

Monday weigh day and 11 exactly. Still edging to see a 10.13 but I want to stay in 11s. So happy today.
Had a white bread roll sandwich for lunch, man it sits heavy, not used to white bread..

Blondeshavemorefun · 01/09/2025 13:18

I have a 10 i just started last week. New 10 from iq - new 7.5. From juniper

have 7.5 on order from Ousch but was a 12.5 but I’ve downed it so waiting for it.

and curate I think I did a 10 but may change to 7.5 or they may make to as new like juniper did

but I’m happy to go down and see how pain is

I think if you have a confirmed ordered with oushk then it’s accounted for? My 12.5 turned up no issues last week.

anyone found a good use for all the wool packing? I’m sure I should be using it in the garden some how.

Blondeshavemorefun · 01/09/2025 13:56

I bin it but keep the freezer packs. Good for picnics 😂

I use it mainly for the birds for nest material, they love it! Poke it around trees and shrubs or hang it up in a fat ball/block feeder.
I also pop it around plants as a mulch or it can go into your compost and rot down, its great stuff!😊
