Happy 1st birthday to us all - somewhere in this month we gathered our courage and started what would be a memorable journey for us all - made some hopefully forever friends

Gather round my little auggies 😍 and we are all doing amazingly so be proud of yourselves

the amount of weight per person lost varies from 1-2stone - 3-4 - 5-6 - 7+

in a year or for some 11-11.5mths - I was middle of August - we have totally changed our body shape - reduced our bmi and weight and hopefully improved our health

some are at goal - and working out how to maintain

some nearing it

some still have weight they want to lose

Some have stopped for cost / various reasons and blowing baby dust your way to those who are ttc

but ALL of us have lost weight and I love the fact we are all so supportive to each other over weight and our general day to day lives

maybe if brave - post your before and after pics to see how far we have come in a year

Inspired by @Blondeshavemorefun I've worked mine out too! £36 pw or £28 per lb 😆 Don't regret a thing!

Blondeshavemorefun · 28/08/2025 18:09

I stayed with med express for too long and should have swapped about but didn’t for months so def could have been cheaper but I’m happy with that. I gave £2k as my budget so actually just in under my budget 😂😇

oh. I didn’t work it out per lb. That’s a good idea

95 lbs so £20.25 per lb or £275 per stone. I rounded it to 7s as 3lb off 7s

FurForksSake · 28/08/2025 18:13

Blondeshavemorefun · 28/08/2025 18:55

Blondeshavemorefun · 28/08/2025 17:26

Worked out my costs for the last year

to lose almost 7 stone

15/8 131 med e - 2.5
30/8 154 med e - 5
15/9 164 med e - 7.5
24/10 194 med e - 10
24/11 193 med e - 10
29/12 158 iq - 12.5
7/2 162 Ousch - 15
19/3 162 iq - 15
23/4 174. Ousch - 15
3/6 144 Ousch - 10
23/6 144 Ousch - 10
11/7 144. Ousch - 10

1924

£1924 / 365 -= £5per day - £160 a month - or £37 a week

£37 a week doesn’t sound bad does it when you add it all up

It's worth every single penny for your health and happiness. Such a brilliant result.

When you also calculate what we have saved in the reduction of food costs it's even less. Iv'e calculated that I have saved about £30 a week in food, snacks, alchohol and takeaways.

Been refunded as i wouldn't consent to their maintence plan, they said consent and it reviews in 3 months.. I was thinking if I consent to that they may screw me over for 3 months at sept prices... Im not risking that.

That's fine, I have my 10mg pens in my fridge, my one I'm using and 3 new ones in total, and a 7.5 from oushk coming sept.

Hi MC..which provider please? Just so I won't bother applying

£2k for a wonderful new us isn't bad at all..cos we are worth it! I have spent nearly £1k this week on my health.. £350 NHS for a crown on a dodgy tooth, then the rest on private consultation plus injection in my back..pain has been awful. Must have spent thousands on osteopath and other treatments over the last 40 years.
Don't forget to deduct cost of SW if you used to go..that must be £20 a month? So £240 a year minimum!
At least 2 bottles of wine a week for me so that's another £480:a year!

I have just treated myself to a gorgeous pair of Autograph high waisted flared jeans £55 because I am worth it 👌 😀

Really happy..my fella surprised me with a week away in a lovely hotel in November in our favourite place ♥️

Azuresky68 · 28/08/2025 21:55

@owlyboo thrilled you had a wonderful holiday 😀 xx

owlyboo · 28/08/2025 22:04

Thanks @Azuresky68i was so nervous as we were navigating trains/metro etc. including from the airport and I’m not a city girl (from Devon) so was worried it would all be overwhelming but we were so patient with each other and (without being big headed) we aced it! Hopping on and off like pros (with a few mistakes we just brushed off without giving it a second thought)

it just made me hyper aware that if my exH was there it would have been a totally different experience. There would have been huffs, arguments and stressful situations we just didn’t allow to happen we just worked as a team and enjoyed every second.
makes me a little emotional. She said to me it was her favourite holiday which made me so proud as we’ve been so many beautiful places over the years but this peaked it for her and I did it all myself ☺️ we are exhausted as did so many steps, saw so many places but made so many memories!

owlyboo · 28/08/2025 22:05

And @Azuresky68well done for treating yourself you deserve it!

Azuresky68 · 28/08/2025 23:30

@owlyboo oh that's really lovely. I am so happy for you. Your daughter will never forget this holiday with you. Here's to many more! And you looked great too 🤗

Azuresky68 · 28/08/2025 23:34

@owlyboo got to confess I have leg envy 🤣 mine are very short at just under 5 foot..would love to be taller

Blondeshavemorefun · 28/08/2025 23:41

@owlybooglad you had a nice holiday

sorry back is bad @Azuresky68 and a crown - I didn’t pay for sw. I knew the plan from before so just weighed at home once a week

you are so worth it - we all are !

@Azuresky68mine are actually short compared to my body. I’m 5’6 but have a long torso hence short shorts to make them
look longer! Definitely helps!

and thank you! She does seemed to have had a fabulous time ☺️

owlyboo · 28/08/2025 23:44

Thanks @Blondeshavemorefun

owlyboo · 28/08/2025 23:46

Sorry @Blondeshavemorefunposted before I meant to Thanks @Blondeshavemorefunit’s weird isn’t it looking back and realising what you ‘put up with’ most holidays were placating exH and making sure he didn’t get cross or angry none of that this time!

Blondeshavemorefun · 29/08/2025 00:00

Looking back I reliese how far I have come from feb 2024 and tho single and totally sexually deprived that I am much happier without dh

No more walking on eggs shells Not knowing what mood dh will be in and how he will react

mini blondes is much happier and says we have a happy house with no shouting

i forgave dh so many times and hoped this would be the time he would stop forever but within usual a month it was the same

I know also that if I hadn’t of kicked dh out that I wouldn’t have lost weight so a double whammy

then I get sad. As it wasn’t all bad. He made me happy after dh 1 dying and I did love him

i thought maybe this time could be diff and forgive again but he’s been such a fucking arse and the lies he says about me and what happened are almost unbelievable

by may/june esp after holiday last year I knew things wouldn’t change

his behaviour this past year has killed all love I had for him and tbh any sympathy or in fact any feelings I have for him

yes he’s dd dad but to me after his behaviour and texts and general every day behaviour and lies he’s tells people I just don’t care any more

I will do this alone. No one wants to be a single parent but we will be ok. I have great friends. A wonderful dad who is on grandad sleepover Duty at mine tonight while I’m at work as my usual lady is on holiday and I also have the support and love of dh oldest kids who are in their 30’s - they support me more than their dad. What does that say ! Both have been amazing

and I met you lovely auggies 💜💜

@Blondeshavemorefun its great that your dad and your stepchildren have your back. ❤️

morbidcuriosity · 29/08/2025 05:35

@Azuresky68 was juniper. They annoyed me with their message saying my bmi now means I'm healthy weight so need to agree to come down dose, fair enough but I'm only just trying to maintain the loss so wanted to stay on 10mg for a bit. He said I need to agree to plan and do 5 then 2.5 then 2.5 .
So I got annoyed and said if you can't give me 10mg them cancel it..

Weepixie · 29/08/2025 05:41

So, 10 days after only counting 1300 calories a day on my app after the advice from my son in law regarding how difficult it is to accurately measure calories unless under lab conditions I have lost 1kg. I’m shocked, and all the more so after staying the same for weeks.

He told me to go for 1300 because I’d probably be eating 1400, and that the 1400 - 1450 I’d been eating was probably 1500 -1550. And it’s worked. 🤣

Im so happy. I wasn’t even due to weigh today but when I went to the gym yesterday my PT and his client both looked at me in surprise and said, you look different/what have you done to yourself, is it your hair? I was puzzled but I had looked in the mirror before leaving home and looked again with my glasses off because I could see a difference in but I thought it was my tshirt style. Oh and I’d been constantly fiddling with my AC controls for a few days because I felt cold - I should have known because my kids used to be freezing when they were here whilst fat weepixie would be roasting.

Im absolutely delighted because of how unexpected this was.

Motnight · 29/08/2025 06:35

@owlyboo sounds like an amazing holiday with lots of lovely memories 😍

Motnight · 29/08/2025 06:37

@Weepixie great scale and NSV!

Motnight · 29/08/2025 06:39

@Blondeshavemorefun you are a strong and brilliant woman. The fact that your ex's adult children are supporting you says it all.
