Well my goodness. Thread 7. Warriors, we are 6 months in! How life has changed.

To all of you who have made it: many, many congratulations and good luck with the continued maintenance. To the rest of the team still climbing that mountain: we got this, let’s bloody go!!

SW 103.9kg / 16.4 stone
CW 73.4kg / 11.6 stone
TW 72.2kg / 11.4 stone (top end healthy BMI)
Dream weight 68kg / 10.7 stone

Reeeeeeally want to get to target weight before holiday in 10 days time so time really is ticking now! Feel like one of the Lionesses: must keep my cool, bang it in the back of the net and get the job done.

You are all absolutely amazing and the continued support on this group is incredible.

Onwards and downwards! Godspeed for thread 7! xx

P.S. have clearly plagiarised some phrases from some of you good people. Hope you don’t mind: feel they’re part of our thing as a group now so please take it as flattery!

Mine looks v similar! I was wondering just the same as I injected this morning. Fat or loose skin? Probably a bit of both.

I’ve just bought size 10 silky trousers at M&S. Can’t believe it. Size 10!!! Not sure what to do about all the size 14 trousers that are just too big. Some look ok or have adjustable waists and can be worn loose. But if I lose another 3kg they may be falling down. I will have to see.

Photo of the size 10s, for proof! Would definitely look better with some control pants on, to hoick the stomach flab/skin in.

Edited

OMG @WoolerOwl you are teeny!

Btw - without sounding like a total dick - thanks so much to everyone who has shared photos. Obviously no pressure at all for anyone to share anything so intimate / outing as a photo of themselves - appreciate it’s not appropriate for everyone! Just thankful to those who have put themselves out there for the group x

Well said, @Mounjaroday. I have been thinking about posting and you’ve convinced me!
Here I am before and now. Still overweight. Apparently. You can see the tum!

I also appreciate the sharing of pics. You are all looking AMAZING!

WoolerOwl · 12/10/2025 21:21

Well, I can report that washing all my too big trousers on a hot wash, and then boiling them in the tumble dryer has had . . . precisely no effect. Except using a load of electricity and creating a big ironing pile. They’re going in the too big box, moving house with me, and I’ll review next year whether I think they’re worth taking to the seamstress.

laundryhamper · 13/10/2025 09:26

@WoolerOwl I saw those silky trousers in M&S yesterday … tempting.
I ended up fighting over size 12 jeans from the fitting room reject rail. All their jeans were sold out in sizes 10,12,14 reg online and none on the shop floor so it was dog eat dog.
I wonder if that’s a MJ effect?

SpiralSister · 13/10/2025 09:40

Did you win, @laundryhamper ??

W34 Day 1
SW: 16st 5lb
CW: 12st 8lb
Total loss: 3st 11lb

Gain of 1lb this week. Only lost half a stone in the last two months. Very slow going. Sigh. Just need to keep plugging away.

I kept gaining last week then lost a little the scales are annoying at times maybe do a body measurement so that can give you a boost i did mine other day or even go on weight loss percentage it lifts the mood.
It will come off its just been stubborn so keep plugging away 😀

laundryhamper · 13/10/2025 11:13

@SpiralSister Got two but changing rooms full so trying to decide between the colours at home. What do you think?
BTW another side effect from MJ is that I now go into changing rooms (if not full) to try stuff on.

Nice jeans! My default reaction is to go darker, but I think that’s a hang over from my fat time! I actually like the lighter ones..

Me too. Leaning towards lighter…

skyscrapersinging · 13/10/2025 18:39

Ok, I’ll play. Here’s me in Jan at 89.2kg (over 14 stone) vs today at 66.0kg (10 stone 5). No longer asthmatic, no more creaky joints and constantly knackered. I think I can even see the beginning of muscle in my arms, so the weights must be working!

I’m horrified when I look back, I was all middle aged gut. Awful.

Another vote for lighter!
