Well my goodness. Thread 7. Warriors, we are 6 months in! How life has changed.

To all of you who have made it: many, many congratulations and good luck with the continued maintenance. To the rest of the team still climbing that mountain: we got this, let’s bloody go!!

SW 103.9kg / 16.4 stone
CW 73.4kg / 11.6 stone
TW 72.2kg / 11.4 stone (top end healthy BMI)
Dream weight 68kg / 10.7 stone

Reeeeeeally want to get to target weight before holiday in 10 days time so time really is ticking now! Feel like one of the Lionesses: must keep my cool, bang it in the back of the net and get the job done.

You are all absolutely amazing and the continued support on this group is incredible.

Onwards and downwards! Godspeed for thread 7! xx

P.S. have clearly plagiarised some phrases from some of you good people. Hope you don’t mind: feel they’re part of our thing as a group now so please take it as flattery!

I treated myself to a wee beauty treatment today, caught sight of myself in a full length mirror on my way in and done a double take. I looked normal. I liked that my lower legs are looking quite slender. It was a nice, pleasant feeling to see my whole body in a mirror and not hate it. No fat bulges, no swelling, just a normal overweight woman in a nice coat.

CoolLimeSheep · 11/09/2025 23:57

@usedtobeaylis isn't it strange how your mind takes so much time to adjust to a new body im sure thats for everyone on here. But awesome acheivement seeing yourself in a different light.
@MJSpideySenses congrats on your 3 stone loss fantastic acheivement. And congrats on your new job!
@PurpleCoo where you off on your adventures? i hope you have a fantastic time!

I haven't tried belts so good advice which I'll give a try the amount of clothes ive donated is abit frustrating although good still frustrating how much ive spent lol. I seem to be a shein girl

PurpleCoo · 12/09/2025 06:22

@CoolLimeSheep I'm in Wales. Which is unfortunate given the weather 🤦‍♀️😱 It looks like it will be a wet and windy couple of weeks.

I'm doing Pen Y Fan this morning and Snowdon when I head north towards the end of the trip.

Definitely invest in some nice belts. I have lots of gorgeous dresses from Seasalt and Fat face that I wear for work. They look like voluminous shapeless sacks with no belt and I look enormous in them, but placing a fairly wide belt on I suddenly have a tiny waist, curvy hips and big boobs. I have some nice woven ones, and a sliding one, so you don't have to worry about the need for new holes all the time, they are adjusting with me and I can be precise/wear higher/lower depending on the style of the dress

MJSpideySenses · 12/09/2025 06:37

Thanks 😊

Keep going @narkyspirit , you're so close!

Have a lovely Friday everyone.

CoolLimeSheep · 12/09/2025 06:47

@PurpleCoo aghhh it was you that was doing snowdon this september good luck you'll smash it. Absolutely love wales im going tenby was going be 26th sept but going change to 3rd Oct for the weekend. Meant to be a better weekend weather although I have noticed its going alot colder 🥶 and good luck doing pen y fan today.
I want do the four waterfall walk on way to tenby 🤞

PurpleCoo · 12/09/2025 06:57

@CoolLimeSheep I'm going to do the four waterfalls walk tomorrow! It's higher chance of showers and that walk is more sheltered.

I'm then off to Manorbier for a few days and planned to do a day trip to Tenby, but the storm is due then so it might not happen this time.

CoolLimeSheep · 12/09/2025 07:01

Let me know how four waterfalls walk goes ive only just heard of it a couple months ago im on a I love wales facebook group lol. Hope the storm doesnt hit. Breeding season in tenby now for seals so love it im hoping do a boat trip but we will see weather wise. Want see dobbys grave from harry potter too 🤣 enjoy your trip youve got a good few action packed days!

PurpleCoo · 12/09/2025 07:08

@CoolLimeSheep Argh, it posted before I finished!

Thanks, I'm going to do up Miners down Pyg I think for Snowdon. I know it's steeper, but I don't want to come down steep, especially if it's been wet and I have a big dog tied to waist.

Hopefully you have better weather than me when you head to Wales 🤞You will definitely need to wrap up warm though

Edit: seen you next comment now, ooh, seals! That would be amazing to see! You will have an amazing time

SpiralSister · 12/09/2025 09:46

Morning warriors! Very envious of the adventure chat! Have a fabulous time. Can’t wait for own hols in a few weeks time. Although there will be minimal walking, there will be maximum swimming in the pool, and sleeping. I hope.

So, have just ordered my next pen. Took 4 attempts as website kept crashing. Which doesn’t bode well! Despite going down to 7.5mg from 10mg, it’s still open wallet surgery! £250!
As of this morning, I weigh 10.13, so only 4 pounds from healthy BMI! I feel pretty much there too. Size 12, look and feel great, just chucked out more bras. I don’t think I want or need to be much thinner.

I can’t believe I’m in the 10’s tbh. Although my self imposed official weigh in is tomorrow, and the scale demons will now doubt engineer some massive gain overnight 😂. Still, it feels pretty fantastic!

CoolLimeSheep · 12/09/2025 10:49

@SpiralSister woohoo thats awesome you did it and so glad you feel good about yourself. So good to feel like you dont want to lose more and feel thin enough. I have a friend who i think looks perfect but she still wants lose more so i do worry about her as shes 9 stone 8 but she is right its how you feel inside. And I love swimming in pools so enjoy and enjoy your rest 😃.
Ive had 30 pound off medexpress for my next pen which will be my last ordering monday still will break my bank tho 🤣

Nomoretopswithblacktrousers · 12/09/2025 13:20

On the subject of belts, a few weeks ago I was visiting a high security place for work. I'd accidentally left my leather belt hole punch in my bag... as you do. At first security were alarmed because it looks like a weapon, well sort of... Alas big false alarm as it is totally harmless. Security couldn't help but believe my genuine but ridiculous explanation.

MrsHero · 13/09/2025 09:01

Just weighed and I am FINALLY into the 10 stones (10st 13.6lb) and FINALLY dropped into the 24 BMI range. I've done a little dance!

CoolLimeSheep · 13/09/2025 09:49

@MrsHero woohoo awesome.
I like that you did a little dance 💃 😀
@Nomoretopswithblacktrousers that would of been scary at first but you can laugh about it 😆

SpiralSister · 13/09/2025 10:16

Fantastic, @MrsHero! I regret to report that I am no longer with you in the 10’s, as expected the scale demons fucked with my weigh in, and this morning I am 11 stone! Gah.

SW: 15.5
CW: 11
TL: 4.5
GW: 10.9 for now..

NSV: Last night I wore a size 12 bitter chocolate midi a line faux leather skirt, size 10(!) brown glitter yarn All Saints jumper, and oxblood platform boots from Free People. I looked banging 😂.

Sorry - I may have thought I was in S&B there! It would be great to hear about all your new outfits though, especially if you’ve been resisting buying until now.

Have a great weekend, warriors! 💐

WoolerOwl · 13/09/2025 10:37

Oh, the scale demons! The ones that make you weigh more a day after you've had food poisoning and the bottom has fallen out of your world (and indeed the world has fallen out of your bottom) than the day before! Ignore them. Once you've seen the 10s, you know that they are really possible.

I hope to join you there very soon. Waiting for my official end of month weigh in to see if I have got there from 71.4kg last month. 70kgs and 11 stone are the same thing, so that's a double milestone. Then just a couple more kgs after that and aim to stay under 70kg or in the 10s.

I have new outfits too. A simple blue knit jumper from Zara in medium, and a great scarf from Mango to try on later today with some dark wash barrel jeans I bought earlier in the summer. And last week I was wearing brown tweed trousers, brown pleated wide leg wool trousers from Cos, and little knitted tops and cardigans in creams and taupe. Oh, and red silky wide leg trousers from M&S. All in size 12 and easily fitting me.

I am longing to get wearing the tan knee high boots that I stopped wearing when my calves got too chunky. The weather is nearly cold enough.

sweetpickle2 · 13/09/2025 16:19

Well done to all the scale and non scale victories! So motivating to see.

Something weird happening on my end- I keep feeling very lightheaded, which is odd as I would say I'm definitely eating more than I was when my suppression was very high. But since I broke my foot I've been barely going anywhere, and quite honestly eating lots of biscuits as there's not much else to do! But I went out to Dunhelm earlier for a mooch (hobble) and out of nowhere felt like I was going to faint, the staff had to find me a chair.

I broke my foot because I fainted and fell down some steps, so I'm just wondering whyy this is happening all of a sudden? I am obviously eating less than I was before MJ, but now I'm tapering down on doses I'm eating much more than I have done in the previous few months.

When I went to hospital for my foot they did an ECG and didn't think there was anything untoward for my faint, but now its almost happened again I think I might need to go get some blood tests. Just wondered if anyone else has experienced lightheadedness or fainting on MJ?

SunandMoor · 13/09/2025 16:30

@sweetpickle2 if you are on blood pressure meds they may need altering? Definitely worth checking out.

PurpleCoo · 13/09/2025 17:02

@CoolLimeSheep Well I definitely recommend the four waterfalls trail, it was so much fun! We got to walk behind a waterfall, which is something I have always wanted to do, and never had the opportunity until now. It's quite boggy in places and lots of wet rocks, so hiking wellies if you have them, if not hiking boots (rather than shoes). If you want to go behind the waterfall as well, you'll need over trousers or your swimming costume or a dry robe you get drenched, but it's so much fun! Basically waterproof gear from head to toe. Lots of deep and steep steps, plus hill climbs so I think I have made up for missing body pump while I am travelling. Also made up for the kinder bueno hot chocolate and blueberry cake I had when seeking sanctuary from the Welsh drenchings yesterday. I had lost too much weight last week, so thought I better eat cake to avoid loose skin... 🤣🤣🤣 That's my excuse and I am sticking to it 🤣🤣🤣

usedtobeaylis · 13/09/2025 17:35

That picture is giving me some heavy vertigo!

CoolLimeSheep · 13/09/2025 18:35

@sweetpickle2 I too keep going lightheaded. Have you had your b12 checked im on b12 injections from Feb this year my next one is due the 8th oct im so tired all time when its coming up and defo lightheaded a lot. I think I eat enough but last time I went they said im excercising too much for how much im eating but you said your not exercising as much since you broke foot so id go with having bloods done. Hope that helps 😀

usedtobeaylis · 13/09/2025 22:24

A moment of truth for me tomorrow since it's been two weeks since my last jag 😬

I've been showing a gain all week which is expected and I'm looking forward to getting back on the Mounjaro tomorrow. I didn't feel I needed to jag during the week but I was definitely hungrier - this manifested largely in bigger portions and more fruit.

Some things I've noticed this week: a) I've had terrible heartburn and wind all week - not unmanageable but it's been a while since I've had it so constantly b) I've still got marks and bruises on my thighs from previous jags - two on each thigh c) despite my moans and groans about not losing sizes, this week seems to be the one where I've noticed the biggest difference in myself, how I look and how I fit in the bath d) the one single pair of size 14 jeans that fitted me must be an anomaly as I now need a belt for them 😅

However, my Vinted friends - I've been looking for smaller versions of some trusty old clothes that I've loved and felt comfortable in and for one particular size 16 shirt that is now like a parachute on me, I've found smaller on Vinted and skipped the 14 completely and bought the 12. I believe I will be in the 12 eventually and this shirt is my target.

CoolLimeSheep · 14/09/2025 09:14
