I remember the school prom getting shut down before it started because a group were off their heads on ket. 😱. Not sure I’ve ever used it (after a lifetime of owning horses rather than me personally)!

Are you feeling any better @Jins ?

Update from Oushk overnight. They’ve completely oversold it and now the big bad supplier has restricted quantities can’t get their hands on enough. I have no sympathy for Ouskh. I’m definitely switching to Boots.

Yes - I haven't had my dispatch email and it's supposed to arrive today. But only because I changed my delivery date. Let's see if it arrives on the original date of tomorrow. It's got two weeks. They haven't handled this particularly well - I've had the delight of working in PR for many years, and they could sorely do with a crisis comms team.

Thelittlestranger · 21/08/2025 06:10

@HeidiNotSoHeavy doc says it's a cyst, so panic over.

Jins · 21/08/2025 06:47

morning early birds. Feeling a wee bit better @PenelopePerseveres which is a relief as the weekend away is looming and we’re at a gig tonight. I would normally stay at home feeling the way I do but it’s the band we’re friends with again and we’re meeting up before/after as there wasn’t time for a chat at the festival. They’ve had a busy year.

I’ve had email notification for only one of my orders due today but both are showing as shipped in my account. Will get on the tracking page if I’ve had no delivery email by 9. I’m a bit fed up with Oushk myself but I don’t have many choices for maintenance at this BMI (22.5). I’ll let the dust settle then get in touch with a few.

meatyryvita · 21/08/2025 06:58

Glad you’re feeling better @Jins .

very glad it’s just a cyst @Thelittlestranger !
Busy week at work so I’ve not been here much. We had DS 13th birthday last Friday and spent the day wandering around London in the 30+ degree heat! I must say that I was much more comfortable than previous occasions - a near 4 stone loss will do that I guess!

Check in day for me and a 1.3lb loss which I’m happy with after a very slow few weeks. I’m on 7.5 and think they’ll put me up to 10mg next time.

SW 15.10 - 30th Jan
CW 11.11
GW 9.10

Best of luck to those weighing today. Have a great day losers!

Good news @Thelittlestranger . Take it easy @Jins . That's a good loss @meatyryvita.

@Thelittlestranger , you are not wrong. The fawning is nauseating. 'Thank you for everything you are doing, you must be pulling your hair out, this is not fair on you'. For actual G S. They're a business, making hay while the sun shines and they have completely screwed it up.

Mine is due for delivery this week too - no update yet. I don't even care if I don't get it at this point tbh, I'd rather pay £50 more this week and a) know that I have one, b )not wind myself up by reading their messages and the ridiculous responses in the app.

I'm a soon to be retired strategist 😍..... they don't seem to have a plan.

Edited to re-write that order ..... I am a soon to be retired 😍😍😍... strategist.

Happy Thursday losers/friends/comrades. 🌻

Whisperingdevil · 21/08/2025 07:42

Hi, I’ve been on this page since Jan but rarely post, however I follow you all regularly and have enjoyed your support for one another and the humour! I started at 94kg and am now at 69, very nearly at goal of 64. It’s been life changing as it has for so many of us. I recently switched to Oushk just before my BMI dropped below 25, I have ordered one 12.5 pen which is unused in the fridge as I was finishing off a 10 from MedExpress who I’d been with from the start, but wanted more flexibility with maintenance. Oushk have been a bit long winded with all the layers of verification but I get the need for safety. So when the chaos hit with price hikes I ordered two pens last week, a 10 and a 7.5, delivery was only possible 28th August and I am going away tonight, so changed delivery address to a friend. Then the email about being able to have delivery dates further ahead, so for peace of mind changed the date to 11th September when I’m home, then last night the email about being out of stock and honouring orders already placed in order of delivery date 🤦‍♀️. So I’m left wondering if I’ll ever get my order now, it’s confirmed but not approved and if they can’t fulfill it due to having no stock presumably they’ll cancel it and refund me.
This is turning into a very long post, but I’m also wondering whether to inject today as normal, but then I’d miss a week as I’m not taking pen with me, or not to inject today and have two weeks off whilst I’m on holiday, which would mean starting the new pen when I’m back, and maybe allow more time for delivery/stock issues to resolve. The man from Oushk said it was ok to have a month off and still resume at same dose? Any experience of longer breaks anyone?
Well done if you got this far!

MJalltheway · 21/08/2025 07:45

I have to say, watching from the sidelines as a non-Oushk user, it's amazing how spectacularly they have fumbled this. Who could have predicted that telling all their customers to bulk order would result in them running out of stock?! 🤔
compared with my experience with two other prescribers (no drama, nothing out of stock, arrived as usual), it's really terrible.
@Jins if you look at monj, they list plenty of places that will take you at a BMI of 22.5 https://monj.co.uk/mounjaro-maintenance-pharmacies/
I've used Lotus from this list and they've been absolutely fine.

GCSE results day today, good luck to all waiting for news! 🤞

my DS is having his 18th party tonight so I foresee a late night wrangling drunk teenagers for me 😣

HeidiNotSoHeavy · 21/08/2025 07:58

morning all, sorry to hear about all the stock issues. I agree that it does not seem like the providers have managed it the best possible way.

glad it's just a cyst, @Thelittlestranger . I apparently have a periapical cyst to deal with now as well. Doesn't cause me any trouble at the moment, only know about it as I got a CT scan for my nose (deviated septum) and there seems to be quite a large cyst there. So the nose guy referred me to the maxillofacial specialists, let's see what they say. Honestly it seems middle age has hit and body tries to come up with all health issues at once. 😀But luckily local health care is top notch with very short wait times.

@Whisperingdevil I'm quite sure the stock issues will be resolved come 1st of sept when prices go up. It's a business, after all.

In other news, have lost all the surgery weight, back to 57.4 today with BMI of 20.6.
Only issue with this is that some of it is water weight due to not exercising - muscles hold on to water after exercise when they repair themselves, and of course I haven't done anything for more than a week now. Will sneak do basement later and see what I can start with - as long as I don't need to use my abs or jump around too actively, some light stuff should be fine.

Jins · 21/08/2025 08:03

Thanks for that @MJalltheway, very reassuring. The two I looked at the other day were inevitably ones with starting BMI of 24. If my pens arrive today I should be ok for at least 3 months so will decide in late October what to do. As @Whisperingdevil says, Oushk seem pretty chilled about having a month off and returning to the same dose which would suit me quite well as I’ll have a bit of a stockpile building up. On the other hand I don’t want to reward them for this shitstorm of their own creation.

Good luck with the 18th. After DS1s 18th we decided to encourage DS2 to think outside the box - the box being our house! I bloody love teenagers with all their bluster and arsiness coupled with a healthy dose of uncertainty. It was 100% the most enjoyable bit of parenthood for me. However I will not have more than 6 in my house at any one time in future 🤣

whyamisuddenlygettingolder · 21/08/2025 08:03

Adding my voice to the chorus of disbelief at how absurd Oushk have been/are. I’m zoning in on goal and could do without the drama of having to find someone new.

I hit 3 goals that aren’t actually my goal today - 12 BMI points down, 5 stone down, and a 10 at the start of my weight!

BreezyPeer · 21/08/2025 08:10

Morning losers! Another one waking up to GCSE results day here.
Hoping that everyone gets what they need. I'll report back at lunchtime xx🤞

CurlsandCurves · 21/08/2025 08:14

Morning,
@HeidiNotSoHeavy take it easy with the exercise. I agree with you re stock levels. Everyone who has stocked up will be good for a while.

i moved up to 10 this week and it’s definitely kicked in. Scales are moving down and suppression is back.

My youngest gets his gcse results today, I’m excited and nervous for him!

BreezyPeer · 21/08/2025 08:18

Nearly forgot its weigh day and jab day for me!

SW before MJ 16st
SW 15st 12lb
CW 11st 11.75lb
1st GW 14st 6lb MET!! 🎉
2nd GW 13st 3lb MET!! 🥳 🎉
Final GW 12st 0 MET!! 🥳 🎉 🎊
1st Interim goal 11st 7lb
2nd Interim goal 11st 0lb
New final GW 10st 7lb

Week 32 1lb gain
Total loss so far 4st 2.25lb
Some of last week's loss was down to a sickness bug so the gain is to be expected. I can't believe my weight starts with an 11 and is a healthy BMI so I will take it! ✨️
Good luck to everyone weighing and jabbing! Xxx

DGonMJ · 21/08/2025 08:41

@PenelopePerseveres yay to ‘soon to be retired’ 😊
I think I’d be equally frustrated if my order was due in the next week. Boots look v expensive (mind you I started on juniper), but at least you can pick up from store.

Well done on the loss @meatyryvita and I hear you on tolerating the stifling London heat better!

@Jins hope you feel better by tonight. Trying to guess which bands have been busy this year…are your friends Oasis? 😂

@Thelittlestranger glad to hear your GP was able to reassure.

@myladyjane 😆

My 5mg pen is due in September. So fingers crossed Oushk make good on their price promise. I have 5 more doses of 3mg left in my current 5mg pen, so I’ve got time to make alternative plans if they do eff up. As with Jins my BMI is too low to go to many other places for maintenance. But lucky I’m able to maintain on a low dose.

In other news, GCSE results are due. We are waiting for an email…

Ha @DGonMJ not Oasis thank goodness as I doubt we’d keep up with them but a chart topper (only the once) from the 80s normally seen as a one hit wonder despite having a second that reached the 20s. I do have a very cool goth celeb as a Facebook friend as well. They were good times. 🤣

Just had a dpd text to say I’ve got a delivery today. I’m expecting two but one will do at this stage

In other news I should be jabbing today but will postpone it until things settle down. I prefer not to take my pen away if I can avoid it but as we’re away for 8 days I’ll need to

Boohoo76 · 21/08/2025 09:08

Also GCSE results day for my DS - he took two early in year 10. He achieved 9s for both despite breaking his hand during the exam period so we are over the moon!

And my ZAVA order was approved late last night. Ordered last Thursday.

discov · 21/08/2025 09:53

Excellent well done @whyamisuddenlygettingolder 🎉

@Boohoo76 well done to your DS! I find it hard to get my head around the number system instead of A/B/C etc but my dd starting secondary in a couple of weeks so I’m sure I’ll learn soon. Good luck to everyone else’s kids getting results today.

I’ve forgotten to jab this week! Was due on Sunday then me and dd went away for the night to the seaside Mon-Tues and now all of a sudden it’s Thursday. I’ll do it tonight if I remember.

Me and dd are going to Leeds Fest for the day on Saturday (a whole 18 years since my last one as a teenager!). I still don’t have an outfit to wear! I’ve bought and returned so much stuff. I have a couple of options for bottoms now but no tops at all. I think I’ll end up sticking a band tee on and be done with it - I guess it would fit the bill for a music festival. I only know 3 acts on the lineup which makes me feel so old 😂

myladyjane · 21/08/2025 10:08

well done/everything crossed for the gcse’ers.

@Jins, @discov have lovely times.

@MJalltheway happy birthday to your lad and best of British to you!

some really fab losses and achievements today. Well done everyone!

Also having problems with Oushk. Every time over the last week I’ve tried to order I have to go through all the form and supply photos all over again. Only to make it to the ordering page and be told that they have “-7” or “-12”. Not helpful and very frustrating.

HeidiNotSoHeavy · 21/08/2025 11:03

@discov I will have 2 in college, I think it's equivalent to UK secondary. DC2 was supposed to have another year of primary, but school said she should skip a class. I'm sure she will manage, but not lookikng forward to all the nagging over homework. I don't know how my parents did it, sister and I were both excellent students and always took full responsibility for our own homework, my parents have literally never ever checked what we had and if it's done.
My DC, not quite there..
