I've got a series of weight loss Google docs dating back to 2012 @Onenotsosmallstep. Mine too are on the whole a documentation of over a decade of weight gain 🤦🏻‍♀️
They're useful at least combined with the whole shopping my previous fat wardrobe to work out what fitted at what weight. Currently sporting '16-'17 fashions like the cool middle aged woman I am.

This made me snort. So true!

Did jab 11 yesterday and finally hit my first stone off on mounjaro, lost 3lb week before starting MJ so 17lbs since April. I’m going in for day surgery next Tuesday so won’t jab until that’s done as need general anaesthetic. I have a 5mg and 7.5mg in fridge ready for the next 2 pens from diabetic nurse.
SW 18st1lb
CW 16st12lb did drop to 16st11 Sunday but back to 16st12 yesterday and today. This is the usual point where I start getting fed up and bad habits creep in but I’m determined not this time! Onwards and downwards being inspired by you lovely lot of losers😉

Did you mean 21st instead of 24?

Four stone down is amazing! Well done.

Quitepossibly · 01/07/2025 23:18

I've lost a stone!!! (Averaging a 2.5lb loss per week.) Feeling quite pleased with myself and, in many respects, mounjaro has made it relatively easy. I've had 6 shots and have had very little in terms of side effects. Took 3.75 last week and the suppression has been pretty good so debating whether to stay at that or move up to 5. Have heard that some people have grim side effects when they first move up to 5, though, which is making me a little nervous.

TheBroonOneAndTheWhiteOne · 01/07/2025 23:22

You're doing fine @Quitepossibly
I haven't had many side-effects at any of the doses.
Just feeling cold.

I'll be jab 40 tomorrow so weigh in 39. 9 months on MJ. The length of a whole pregnancy and by far the longest I've ever consistently stuck to a diet. Still a touch depressing that its taken me 9 months to lose 5.5st especially as I probably have another 4.5 to go. The best way to look at it I guess is if I hadn't started, I'd still be over 20st

Well done. I've been on it since March 2023! I've lost 90lbs so not much more than you. It's not the speed it's the destination. How much do you have left to lose?

Exactly 10st would take me to 11st 9lb and a BMI of 24.1. However I have never had a BMI of less than 30 since I hit puberty I have no idea what that weight would look like. So I don't really know if its a goal I'm going to stick with

TragicMuse · 02/07/2025 07:34

WHY, BODY, WHY?

Why do you consistently weigh more on WI day than either the 2-3 days before or the day after? It’s INFURIATING. It’s not dehydration, it’s not lots of food yesterday still lurking. It’s fucking annoying is what it is.

I jab tonight. Think I’m going to change my WI to morning after!

DAMMIT!

I used to have this so now I jab this evening and weigh tomorrow morning

OMG I'm so cold today.
It's swimming with DD day.

The pool wasn't very warm last week so I hope it's improved today.

It's so frustrating and always seems to be the way. I WI on Saturdays and have been known to go back to bed and give the scales chance to change their mind. My sister laughs at me and warns I may have to stay in bed a few days for it to make much difference! I hope changing your injection time helps.

LucyBnotG · 02/07/2025 11:41

It's been a tough few weeks with holidays and social plans but I have managed to get below 200lb! Is this what Onederland feels like? I have some size 14 jeans en route from Vinted that are my next challenge and I will need to pick a new target weight once I reach 14 stone. Target setting is so tricky in these unfamiliar stone brackets. Is 13 stone too far? Who knows.

afaloren · 02/07/2025 12:33

Just to say I was looking for something easy in the shop for dinner as it was too hot to cook yesterday and I was all saladed-out. I’ve eaten so many salads! Because I fancied them of course, but I wanted something different.

I found a MyProtein Japanese style chicken curry with rice, ready to reheat and eat. I’ll try and attach a picture. Smaller portion and better ingredients than most ready meals and I really enjoyed it!

The pool turned out to be warm, so we were really enjoying ourselves, until a child was sick in the shallow end, so we all had to get out.

Oh well. At least we got our money back.

I’m not vegan but I cook a lot of vegan. My husband is veggie but doesn’t like eggs so apart from when we have something including cheese it’s all largely vegan.

tonight I’m going to do a kung pao tofu and broccoli.

Hi all! I went to my swanky party in London, and it was indeed swanky (and sweltering.) I was actually pretty happy with the way I looked in the end, so that was nice. Also, train was fine even though I went in 'normal' - for years I've paid extra for the posh seats because I couldn't fit in the normal ones, and was terrified of spreading all over other people. This time, I not only sat in a normal seat, I could pull the little table thing down! Plus - you'll all get this one - this morning I sat in a BOOTH in a cafe! And it didn't cut into my stomach!

Off to Spain tomorrow - it's all go - and feel 100% confident in being able to fasten my seatbelt without an extender. Joyous. Hopefully the sangria and tapas won't derail me - at least we're not All Inclusive!

Jab number 16 today. A 2lb loss for the week, which I'll take, and an overall loss so far of 3 stone 6lbs. Google tells me that is the equivalent of over 21 kilos, and I remember someone on here comparing weight loss to holiday suitcases - I've just weighed our 'big' case and it's 21 kilos too. The thought of lugging all of that extra around on my body is insane. Thanks for all your support, stories and giggles - will try to check in while I'm away.

SW: 307lbs
CW: 259lbs
TW: ???

GnomeDePlume · 02/07/2025 16:26

@eibbed999 that all sounds rather marvellous!

Have a lovely holiday.

@WafflingDreamer I haven't been a healthy BMI since it became a stick to beat us with thing. I too wonder what I would look with a healthy BMI. Old I suspect. One advantage of being fat is that I fill up my skin.

I'm starting to think about what I will make for my winter wardrobe. Thinking about making some jeans as I have quite a lot of black denim in my stash.

Also need a winter coat. DD described my current coat as looking like a monk's habit as it has so little shape relevant to me now.

With a following wind I will be another 10kg down on where I am now, around another stone and a half by late autumn.

Since I started making clothes for myself I have always erred on the side of caution and made things a bit bigger. It feels wrong to think about making things a bit tight as I expect to slim down.
