10th jab tomorrow and I’ve lost 3 stone as of today!!

don’t get me wrong, I’m still (morbidly) obese but oh my goodness I feel amazing! I’m sleeping better, back pain has vanished, exercising regularly, eating good healthy whole foods every day. I feel like I’ve been given a second chance in life ❤️

To work out how much weight you have lost

The formula to calculate your weight loss percentage is: lbs lost divided by starting weight. Then, multiply the result by 100.
Example:
(5lbs / 150lbs) * 100 = -3.33%
So, if your starting weight is 150lbs and you lost 5lbs, you’ve lost 3.33% of your body weight.

Note: Please keep in mind, this calculates total weight loss including muscle

ive lost 91 (6.5st) lbs. Was 242 (17s 4)

so 37.4%.

I’ve lost over a 1/3 of myself

91/242 X 100 - 37.4

Billybingbong · 04/07/2025 10:06

Good morning all. Fab to see all the losses and nsv's this week. Not my usual weigh in this morning as I'm still away, so it will be a couple of days late. As much as I don't want the holiday to end, I'm itching to get home and jump on the scales. I'm not overly confident this week. Calories have been fine, and we've done loads of walking, but ive probs had less protein and more alcohol than usual, so we'll see.

SilenceInside · 04/07/2025 10:16

So this week is my 52nd weigh in, so it's my 1 year anniversary on Mounjaro. My stats today are:

SW: 139kg (21st 12 lbs)
CW: 82.8kg (13st 0lbs), was 83.4kg (13st 1lbs), last week.
GW: 81kg (12st 11 lbs) fifth interim goal
Current pen: 10mg, 8 weeks on this dose.

Total weight lost is 124 pounds (8st 12lbs), 56.2kg, just a smidge over 40% of my starting weight. BMI has gone from 50.44 to 30.05. I was a size 24, now a size 16. I am 76.5% of the way to my original target weight of 10st 4lbs.

As I thought, my body just doesn't want to let me through the 30 BMI barrier... I've lost 0.6kg this week, or 1.3lbs. Any loss is a victory, so I will take it, begrudgingly.

NSVs this week include finishing C25K and starting the Beyond C25K runs - I ran for 35 mins non-stop for the first time. Genuinely a miracle compared to what I could manage a year ago. I barely did any walking, and could not have run at all. Now I run 3 times a week and walk everywhere, and look for opportunities to walk more rather than ways to avoid it.

This last year has been transformational for me, it really has.

I'm at 21.8% down as of today 🥳

Iwouldratherbesinging · 04/07/2025 10:46

@Doggymummar that’s awful for you, I’ve been with the same company for 25 years now, there was a round of redundancies about 10 years ago and it was handled very sensitively but it almost felt like a bereavement. But it sounds like you have an amazing day ahead of you!

happy one year anniversary @SilenceInside! your stats are always so inspiring, you’re like the big sister we all look up to and aspire to be like.

I’m off to the races today in a floaty second hand pink dress from monsoon and feel a bit princess like 👸🏻

GnomeDePlume · 04/07/2025 11:50

@Iwouldratherbesinging have a lovely day in your floaty wonderfulness.

@SilenceInside happy anniversary and congratulations on your amazing journey

I have lost 20% of me so far. But I still can't really see it because I am still the same shape. Plan is to lose 54%.

GnomeDePlume · 04/07/2025 11:56

I have made DM a couple of tops for her birthday and out of curiosity I have just tried one on and it fitted. Tighter than I am used to but it fitted!

This means I can make myself a few quick tops from my fabric stash.

Fffreeeeezing · 04/07/2025 13:13

WI week 16 today and a 2lb loss bring me to a 50lb loss (3st8lb)

I'm loving this whole being cold thing side effect, even in 30+ degree heat I'm not feeling it, hurrah to not having my makeup slide off my face 2 seconds after putting it on and my hair not getting all damp and rat-taily at the back of my neck!

Next mini goals in order, to get to 4st loss, BMI under 50 and under 20st

And I've just remembered I haven't actually jabbed today so should probably go and do that......

TragicMuse · 04/07/2025 13:27

I’m wearing an old favourite linen dress I’ve had for years and not been able to get on for a good long while.

It looks decent and I’m satisfied with my appearance today!

Great results lovely losers. We are all achieving amazing things, however fast we do it…

Welcome @Elle771 and you are us months ago /last year

FatsiaJaponicaInTheGarden · 04/07/2025 16:09

Wow you're all doing amazing and I love reading of all the victories sclae or otherwise.

@SilenceInside happy one year!!!! 🎉🎉. And that's a truly incredible amount to lose in a year!!! I started at 50bmi but I'm half way through now and I think slowing down a bit so need to weigh up if it's heat/water/hormones or if I need to go up to 10mg when I do my third dose next week.

Ive lost 4stone 4 so far which is amazing but feeling it slow down and with 7st7to get to top of healthy it's a very long way!!

We get a blood test on my programme at 6months so will be interesting to see what it says! I know it won't be perfect yet as I'm still a slither away from morbidly obese but I'm hoping some of the numbers are down..

I've booked a holiday for easter in Scotland and Im so hoping I will be able to walk lots. It's a good motivator for improving stamina especially up hills.

But I'm so tired. I'm still waking lots (taking magnesium) and dealing with a lot of work stress and politics.. Grr.

Motnight · 04/07/2025 16:33

Using @Blondeshavemorefun calculations I have lost 27% of my body weight.

I have a school reunion in October and am going to try and lose 1 more stone for that and look happy and healthy. It's odd because at school I was called fat a lot especially by boys but weighed less than 10 and a half stone when I was 13 - 18. Definitely not skinny but not fat?? But that's how I saw myself because I was constantly told it.

PinkArt · 04/07/2025 16:56

To add to today's loser celebrations, I have now officially lost an elephants penis! 🐘🍆
Really hoping everyone remembers the 'what weights x pounds' list so it doesn't sound like I'm having a breakdown 😂
