You don’t have to keep the pen refrigerated. It would be fine on a flight.

You can also buy little cool box pen holders if you want. But that may have to go in with the liquids in the plastic bag, I’m not sure. It could definitely go into hold luggage.

As others have mentioned it can be kept out of fridge, as long as used within 30 days. Manufacturer advise that it should be kept below 30 degrees (c) if out of a fridge. This might be relevant if travelling in warmer climes .. including parts of the UK this summer!!

Wooop just ordered my 3rd pen. Decided to opt for the 5mg this time. The effects have waned and I'm depending quite a bit on my own willpower and I think it's wavering a bit. Time to up the dose and see how I fare!

Delivery is estimated for the day before I finish my 2nd pen so early ordering is definitely wise!

I'll be away for a long weekend of eating and drinking after my last 2.5mg jab so will need the 5mg upgrade to get me back on track! No real SEs on 2.5 so praying the 5mg goes easy on me!!

I have some different medicine that needs to be kept cold. My trick for 48 hours of chill is to take a wide neck vacuum water bottle or small vacuum flask, add 3-4 ice cubes to the bottle then wrap the pen in kitchen towel for protection and add to the bottle. As the ice slowly melts, it wicks up the kitchen towel and the medicine is kept cold.

Mine are kept in the fridge from the moment they arrive - thanks, I think I'll risk it and go for 2 x 2.5 and see if I can cope on the lower dose. I don't want to use it if I don't need to at the higher dose. At least then I can make a decision about which way to go.

Can you buy more than 1 pen at a time?

W3D2 and first day of side effects for me. Burning acid in my stomach (not refluxing), horrendous trapped wind, nausea, alternate constipation and diarrhoea. Feeling pretty ropey. I don’t know what triggered it. I had a salad and raspberries for lunch, nothing dramatic and a salad I’d eaten before. I am pretty anxious about a relative and relationship right now and an andrenalin rush of fluttering anxiety in my tummy appeared immediately before the symptoms. That’s the only trigger I can think of.

i have now lost 10lb in five weeks, the fifth dose of just over 2.5mg I drew with a needle was last week. I have now moved on to 5mg, I feel OK, a little meh at times, but nothing significant. But I am not interested in eating. At all.....So I am having to make myself, which is frustrating. I am also feeling tired. I injected on Friday night and had a cheeky weigh this am and lost another 2.5, but I wont include that until I weigh again on Saturday am which is my weekly weigh in. Possibly reach a stone this week. I honestly don't want it dropping off me, I am happy with a couple of lb per week. I have lost several inches all over including 2.5 off my waist which for 10lb is amazing I think. Definitely looking better in clothes so happy with this. 🥰 Onwards and downwards compadres!

Sorry, that sounds awful. Have you tried some Buscopan? It really helped me in the past, it calms everything down. Hope you feel better soon. 🙂

@Gettingfitorbust its to help with hydration I heard, no idea if it works. I’ve ordered ones with caffeine and other vitamins to try and give me a boost in the mornings

If you change supplier and show them the proof you are on it and what dose …do they contact your other supplier ?

I am with Voy and no problems at all…but its a lot dearer .
Their 5mg dose is £199 , yet have seen it much lower most other places at £124 , £138 + .
Being a pensioner thats a big difference of £60

Does anyone else suffer from a constantly dry mouth? It doesn’t matter how much fluids I drink, it’s always there! I’ve pretty much had it from day 1 and nothing has changed. I know in terms
of SE it could be a lot worse but I’m sick of it 😂

It could just be the build up of the Mounjaro. It has a long half life, so each week you have slightly more in your system.

I don’t think so. I changed for my second month and I don’t think they have. I don’t mind if they do though. That would show good checks by the provider.

I was with Morrisons Clinic for my first two pens, my third one (5mg) I got from IQ Doctor for £103 with a discount code, and no they didn't contact my previous supplier but I had to provide proof that I had previously bought elsewhere.

The acid stomach and reflux plus wind is unpredictable - trapped wind is agony
I have bad IBS/IBD so it’s actually helped with that! Not constipated as yet
Currently managing with gaviscon and lansoprazole - side effects are only severe once or twice a week which is worth it to
me for the benefits

@DD517 A pain isn’t it! Every night I wake up with my tongue stuck to the roof of my mouth 🙄 I’m over it but looks like I’ll just have to grin and bare it 😂

Back on the jabs after missing a week. Took 2.5 (30 clicks) from my 5mg pen yesterday. No physical SEs but I’ve been ridiculously anxious and uptight today. Snapping at DH and the kids. 🫣 Very stressed and just generally not feeling in control. No real reason that I can think of. Could it be the jab? I’m also madly craving crap to eat. This is messing with my head. First, I have such intense suppression that I’m struggling to eat, then I’m hungry and madly grumpy!!! Might need to move up to 3.75 next weekend.

Week 4 and I think I’m experiencing some suppression for the first time and it’s amazing! Fruit & yog for breakfast and didn’t snack or feel too bad not snacking until lunch. Are a small lunch and was fine just having a small dinner. Drank loads of water. I did spot some chocolate and would really have liked some so couldn’t say I wasn’t bothered, but telling myself no felt ok rather than hours of cravings.
I also feel I have more energy.
My clothes feel exactly the same but so far I am loving this and just wish I’d started sooner.
5mg pen is waiting for me so I hope this continues with no SEs!
