Had 2nd dose of 5mg yesterday and this week feel so sick ! Headache too. Putting part of it down to hot weather.
Had porridge this morning and a banana for lunch. Couldn't eat anymore if I tried !

I am on week 3 too and i havent lost that much. Around 4 lbs in 3 weeks

Just dropping in to say HI…I’ve just ordered 7.5 I’m current 10lb down in my journey but definitely feel the difference in my clothes. I know every one loses different etc but also want to remind anyone who thinks they are losing slow it’s not a race we are all different and if the scales don’t move as quick it doesn’t matter your doing great and remember inches matter too 🥰

MJ: Week 1; D6. No SE and no weight loss. No satiety. Not sure about food noise.
Confused. Did I inject it right?
Did Wegovy for 9 months before (had all the SE) but pushed on and lost 1 1/2 stone but so slowly, on average it was 3-3/12 lbs a month so took a break (hols) and started MJ thinking it would be faster. Should I go back to the drip drip drip of Wegovy (and all the horrendous SE) or stick it out for a couple of months on MJ?
Advice please ...

I’m about to have my third jab tomorrow only lost 5 pounds on scales but 2 inches when measuring I have been hammering the gym tho - have ate pretty much the same but no snacking and minimal side effects seems to mainly be reflux and constipation and I’m so bloated at night 😩😩

Thanks, I think I'm over-conscious of needing to defend my position! I'm not sure if it's a common choice but there are lots of people doing it. If you're interested then fat old climber on YouTube has done a number of videos about it.

just had first dose of new pen as did the golden dose for 5th injection.
I did 40 clicks of a 5mg pen so a tiny increase to 3.33mg

so far I’ve lost 7kg and 2 inches from the fattest part of my stomach

I was just like this. Took until week 4 to really feel anything, and that’s worn off within a few days. I’ve ordered 5mg for my next pen (but not sure if I’ll take that or 3.75). However I have lost some weight.
if you’re only on week 1, why don’t you join the July starters group?

i will go over the 30 days with pen two. It’ll last me 7 weeks I think. As you say keep in fridge and be meticulous about hygiene

Really slow loss for me the last couple of weeks, but it was really fast at the start so it’s ok!
I’m W6D4 and have lost 1st11lb in total, but only 2lb of it in the last week.
I have a 5mg one on the go atm and did the first dose of that last Sunday of 3.3mg (40 clicks). No side effects, all ok.

I have an annoying/cautionary tale for anyone with or considering Lloyds pharmacy.

I used them because it seemed like a "proper" pharmacy (I know the shops) and ordered my 2nd pen from them too.

It arrived with no needles.

I messaged them and have had this response
LloydsPharmacy Online Doctor has recently partnered with Pharmacy2U, who now dispense and dispatch medication on our behalf. This partnership helps us improve the service we provide. Your query will be answered by a Pharmacy2U pharmacist via email, as it relates to medication they’ve dispensed for you. The LloydsPharmacy medical team you know and trust continues to operate the Online Doctor service – the only change is that the medication we prescribe is now dispensed by Pharmacy2U

I've not been contacted by Pharmacy2U yet.

As it happens, I took a golden dose, so don't need to start the pen u till next week, but they don't know that!

i was with Asda and they keep emailing to remind me to order, but I switched for a cheaper deal.

I’ve definitely had less suppression this week, so going up to 5mg on Monday.

You’re still welcome here too! (I’m also reading May’s thread to see how others get on further down the line and to know what to expect - sometimes if eveyerone’s at the same stage you can’t get that experience!)

Day 1 on 5mg.
Wow suppression was strong. I didn't eat anything until 2pm and had a small greek salad then 5 bites of veggie bolognese for dinner and literally couldn't face any more food.
Had a bad headache tonight but I think that's lack of water and sleep this week.
Also, took the rest of the family to McDonald's and wasn't tempted at all!
5mg is working so far!

i have an extra need can i use this ?

I presume you meant needle? You could if you can get the pen to turn. Some people can do, others find that the pen breaks and they lose the liquid. So it’s a bit of a gamble.

inject with a bigger needles so may take the gamble 😂

So after 4 weeks I'm now 14 stone 6. I started around 15.1 to 15.5 depending on when I weighed myself!

I'm just in the overweight category and not obese anymore. When I hit the 13 stones it will be the lightest I've weighed for years 😇

I have felt nauseous the last few days and have little energy. I'll continue on 2.5 tomorrow and see how I go.

I need to start looking more closely at what I'm eating. I suspect it's not enough as I feel quite hangry a lot of the time.

I haven’t got to that point as my first pen was 2.5 and I used it as specified (I’m now two doses into pen 2, which is 5mg). My plan is to order a new one at the usual point; thinking I might order two at that point if allowed to by the pharmacy (Asda) and that will hopefully see me through to my target weight and some maintenance. So far I seem to be managing ok on a 2.5 dose, losing more than 1kg a week, and if I can stick to that then 2 further pens of 5mg taken as weekly half doses will last me till Christmas. From October onwards I should be at a maintenance stage.

How has the jump to 5mg been? I’m on my second month of 2.5mg (W6D4) and am just starting to feel suppression wane a bit and the scale has slowed right down - I’ve been bouncing around the same number for 10 days or so. I’m not knocking my losses, I’ve lost 13lbs since I started, which I’m massively chuffed about but I know some of that is because I’m not eating and drinking like I’m on holiday every weekend, which was my long-standing pre-jab pattern. I feel a bit rough the day after jabbing but then it eases off, just slightly apprehensive about doubling to 5mg but it maybe it’s time…

7th injection this morning, 6th weigh in. I’ve stayed with 2.5 as the suppression is really good still. I’ve lost a total of 1st 3lbs. Starting weight 15st1, current weight 13st 12 (goal probably 10st 7 ish). I’m over the moon to be honest, it’s such a relief to finally find something that works! I’m exercising, drinking loads of water, eating sensibly with occasional treats and I think I’ve been incredibly lucky with next to no side effects. My pens have come from Medexpress and then IQDoctor to use discounts I’d found, but I plan to switch to Lotus I think as they guarantee a maintenance plan for when I reach target.

Randomly, I’ve started getting news articles in my facebook feed featuring PTs moaning that people are using MJ as a quick fix. Idiots!!
