W7D1 and I’ve not lost anything this week which is a bit disappointing. But I have had a few nights out so need to knock that on the head I guess. Although we go on holiday on Monday!

I strangely had more side effects this week than any other - I felt quite nauseous on Friday which was new. Luckily it didn’t last long but sticking to 2.5mg was the right call for side effects although maybe not for weight going by the scales this morning.

CW 11 Stone 4 so want to lost 3 more pounds to hit the first stone lost!

I’m eating vastly less than I was but still eating anything I fancy - I just don’t fancy much.

Not exercising other than my weekly PT session, that’s down to time but will try and run a couple of K a few times this week I think. I was of the thought that weigh loss is all about food but the only time I’ve ever successfully lost weight before, I was exercising 2x a day without fail so maybe I personally need it.

I do feel smaller and my face is less puffy, I’m pretty sure of that. Might take measurements later but can’t face the disappointment if not much has shifted!

Keep reminding myself it’s a long game 💪🏻

Just need to reorder and don’t want to waste a month on 2.5 if I need a 5… can’t decide!

Also worrying I lose a lot of meds in the priming and my 2nd jab I did standing up and seemed to have leakage out of my body! Jab 1&3 I did lying down which seemed better.

I am a slow looser also . What I can say is although the scales after 3 jags have only went down 6/7lbs is that my actual clothes feel looser , my rings are aswell .
and even my legs in my jeans feel smaller .

taking this as a wee win lol trying not to get so hung up on the scales as I’m hoping for a wish effect soon !
but hey ho a lose is a lose . Lb of fat is still quite a lot in the grand scheme of things x

Yes, absolutely. It is definitely not as the manufacturer specified but there are many people using it like this, keeping it refrigerated and being meticulous about hygiene. Obviously it's a matter of personal choice whether it is a risk you are prepared to take and I recognise that many (most?) people would not be happy to go against the instructions of the manufacturer. In anticipation of disapproval/concern, can I just say that I don't especially want to debate it (but I will of course post again if I have any adverse effects down the line).

Golden dose is 3.5 more or less? So do you all use it as a stepping stone to 5? I’m sticking with 2.5 for my next pen because the suppression is bang on, would you hang on to the extra mg in the pen?

Did my weekly me360 scan and still horrified, still can't see any visible change in it - however my jeans are looser.

Really struggling to get protein in this week though as I've totally gone off eggs after the eggy burps. Tried making banana oat pancakes and my god they were disgusting.

Hello! I’ve not posted on this thread before but did start in June.

Did my 3rd jab last night and weighed in just now. I’ve lost 3lb TOTAL - 2lb in week 1, 1lb this week. 1lb is basically nothing, I could put that on in the course of a day I reckon! Anyway I’m not giving up but was certainly expecting a bit more drama in the beginning, particularly has I have to lose half my weight to get down to a health BMI. I think I’m going to stick with 2.5mg though as I am feeling suppression and slight nausea but not an extreme amount. I don’t want to feel sick on 5mg.

Anyone have any thoughts?

Also, jab 5 is scheduled for when we’re on holiday and jab 6 the day we get back. So I was thinking of doing jab 5 two days early so I don’t have to take the MJ with me. Should that be ok?

I think that MJ on it's own is not enough. I am calorie counting as well as keeping an eye on my protein and fibre levels. I'm not eating any 'white carbs' ie rice, pasta, potatoes, bread.
I really struggle to loose weight but it's going well so far with this method.

Half a stone is great! That’s 1.4lbs a week average, the safe weight loss is 1-2 lbs a week. Some people on here have really dramatic weight loss, but it’s usually because they either have a lot more weight to lose or because they’re a super responder.

you really don’t want to lose any faster than you’re doing. I did when I was on ozempic first time round and I lost tons of hair, my face got really thin and I ended up with my gallbladder out. The dramatic weight loss is purely down to dramatic calorie reduction and it is very unhealthy in the long run.

what you really want is shape change not weight loss anyway. Start tracking measurements, add in weight training - if your weight isn’t going down but you can see inches coming off your waist/butt/thighs/wherever you store your weight then it’ll make you much more satisfied.

I have definitely noticed inches. I think i will do my measurements and check them each month. That might make me feel more positive.

I was just asking the question. My understanding was that using the liquid beyond 30 days was a big no, and I've been wondering what that means for people on the 5ml dose who are taking less than 5ml

My me 360 scan is hideous as well. It was so bad I've only done it once and I'm giving it a bit of time in the hope that it looks different

To those not seeing a visual change but a scale change, I am surrounded by fitness people in my friends and family and they have always said, " if you lose weight through diet you become a smaller version of you. If you lift weights with it you change your body shape!"
So... I'm lifting weights. Heavy ones! There are loads of great programs out there and you only need to get a few heavy dumbbells and a bench from Amazon (nothing too expensive). Chat gpt will create a custom workout for you for free! Love it! Xx

That’s the thing though, I’m not doing MJ alone :( eating far far less, not fancying unhealthy foods, way more fruit and veg. I could definitely do more exercise so at least I’ve got some scope for more results. I measured myself after that post and I’ve apparently lost 2cm off my hips which is what I suspected, although measurements are hard to get accurate. My inflammation seems lower and my motivation seems higher. Just want the numbers!!!

@MissMogs I was undecided for a couple of weeks beforehand. In the end, I went for 3.75mg and it was the right decision. Felt so low energy on Tues (jabbed Mon eve) and was in bed by 8pm pretty nauseous. Only managed 980 cals that day which is not enough. I previously had little to no SEs on 2.5mg. Feel absolutely fine now and back up to 1200-1400 cals now. Worth maybe stepping up.

Please to report that traveling through airport security was fine. Pen (I’m on Wegovy) in hand luggage, didn’t have to remove it and sailed through.

Slightly, ahem, congested, which is usual for me after flying. But hotel breakfast seems to have done the trick. Sorry if TMI. So not sure if that’s a SE of the jabs or just usual flying SE. Either way, am floating on air now IFYKYK 😁

I’ve been going to the gym for 3 days followed by a rest day then another 3 days and so on. I do approx 40-45 mins cv followed by another 30 minutes of resistance training. I have a fairly high in protein diet as I eat the same as my husband who does weight training. I also drink clear whey protein on the days that I train.

We have 4 kids including a toddler and I work full time so always fairly active. I think cutting out the snacking and not really drinking alcohol has helped as well.

I have not fancied alcohol at all. I had a sip of prosecco at an event and it tasted like super sugary nastiness! I am out tomorrow and I am not sure what I will do. Probably not drink at all tbh given the heat and given how little I am eating - those things would probably make me keel over!

Greek yoghurt and cottage cheese are good sources of protein.

I am W4D4 and have lost a stone! Although I’m a bit scared by the amount lost so quickly. I really wanted to lose 1lb a week to maintain muscle and keep it off.

NSV , it seems my resting heart rate has gone down over the past 2 weeks and apparently this is a good thing ! Who knew ? I am learning so much about how my body works but it’s shameful that it’s never concerned me before !!! 🤔
