I love a big knicker 🤣 I haven't noticed mine getting droopy yet but I'll be sticking with the belly warmers even when I need a smaller size. It's all relative 😂

Spoke too soon on the reaction, it's popped up again today. I now have attractive red splodges on each thigh. Tell me you're on mounjaro without telling me you're on mounjaro, especially in shorts weather 🙄

bridgetreilly · 20/06/2025 09:15

W9D2 and for the first time since I started at 5mg I am not utterly exhausted the day after my jab. Hooray! It had become a serious problem having to write off 24-36 hours/week, so I’m really hoping that’s no longer the case going forward.

Coffeeandallthebooks · 20/06/2025 10:14

Well done on the losses everyone.

I must do a PSA about droopy knickers as a warning to you all:

30 years ago, my mum got a new, young male lodger after getting divorced. She lost a bit of weight post divorce, and was showing this man around the local shops when her knickers plunged to her ankles under her long summer skirt as she walked across the middle of the square, in full view of everyone and every shop. And the lodger.
She said she whipped them up and stuck them in her handbag, styling it out, but the lodger didn't stay long. We moved 300 miles away shortly after. She still says it was the most embarrassing thing to ever happen to her!

So please be careful with droopy drawers and summer skirts in this time of risk 😂

Lidlbitofmonica · 20/06/2025 10:18

@Coffeeandallthebooks your poor mum! Chin rub shorts are still an essential for skirts and dresses for me so they should hold the droopy drawers in place 😂

Lidlbitofmonica · 20/06/2025 10:18

Chub rub, not chin rub!!

Ricoletti · 20/06/2025 10:20

@Crunchymum happy birthday 🎂 I hope you enjoyed your day, and the cake! Birthday cake doesn’t count … it’s practically mandatory in my book!

@Coffeeandallthebooks awesome NSV about enjoying treats in moderation 🙌🏻
my kids are really noticing the lack of treats in our house… I buy way less junk , poor lambs are feeling the effects of my lack of sugar cravings !

@StartingApril2025 sadly I’m still vaping away. MJ doesn’t seem to have curbed my enthusiasm sadly! Good luck with your appointment… evening weigh in defo won’t show the progress in the same way an ‘empty’ morning weigh would. And if you and others are seeing the difference you are defo going in the right direction. Well done x

@bridgetreilly yay for more energy.
you are defo fancier than me , owning posh knickers… even if they are now falling down. If I were you I would buy some more gorgeous knickers in your new size. You deserve to feel fabulous x

@Lidlbitofmonica amazing progress, you are smashing your holiday goal !

@Sunshineandpool 2 stone !!! I’m setting off a confetti canon in your honour, well done!

@PumpKimSorry to hear you are still reacting. I will also forever be a big knicker girl!

sorry if I’ve missed anyone. Am at work but really wanted to catch up. I am celebrating every single person and I’m so proud of us all xxxx

Ricoletti · 20/06/2025 10:22

@Coffeeandallthebooks OMG your poor mum, good on her for styling it out!

similar thing happened to me as a teenager. I stood up in the library and my ever so cool , baggy cargo pants fell down 🤣🤣🤣🤣
it was around this time i developed an interest in belts !

Last week I moved up to 7.5 & half way through the week I’ve had 2 days/nights of a very upset stomach. I think perhaps I’ve moved up too quickly after just 4 weeks on each of the previous doses.

I’m dreading jabbing again tomorrow when I’ve hardly left the bathroom for 48 hours! Has anyone else suffered like this? Absolutely nothing has helped. This is the first side effect I’ve had & thought I’d got away with it!

Eeeek. Hopefully it was a one off SE for you?

I'm doing my first 7.5mg jab tonight so I'll report back. Hoping I tolerate it as well as the other doses? I've made no plans this weekend although all 3 kids have swimming lessons tomorrow so I'm usually at the pool for half the day.

violetmondays · 20/06/2025 11:13

Morning everyone - happy Friday! Happy birthday @Crunchymum hope you enjoyed every bite of those celebratory cakes.

It's week 9 day 1 for me. Another 2lb off this week, can't complain 😊 So that's 20lb off in total. I've done another 3.75 jab this morning, I think I have 1 x 3.75mg dose left in the 5mg pen and maybe a bit more golden dose so I will see how this week goes before deciding whether to up it at all next week - but I don't think I will go up to 5 unless I stop losing (or feel hungry all the time) as I'm worried about SEs. @bridgetreilly glad to hear you don't feel tired this time, there is hope!!

Lidlbitofmonica · 20/06/2025 13:42

Made my decision - I moved up to 7.5mg. My suppression is still good but the pharmacist pointed out that might not last another 8 weeks. Also, if side effects are bad, I can move down to 5mg for my actual holiday if I’m still struggling at the end of 4 weeks.
First dose of 7.5mg is now in my thigh so let’s see how this goes!

PoisonIvy89 · 20/06/2025 15:56

Well done @Lidlbitofmonica @Crunchymum @Sunshineandpool @violetmondays Great losses!

Happy Birthday @Crunchymum 🎂

@Coffeeandallthebooks 😱😳omg your poor mum!!! I'm ordering some now in a smaller size to be prepared 😂

Seahawk80 · 20/06/2025 17:03

Just having a little catch up. sounds like a good plan @Lidlbitofmonicayou don’t want terrible side effects or not much suppression when on an all inclusive holiday!

Yay for 2 stone @Sunshineandpooland Well done to everyone else on the losses! Sorry I can never keep everyone’s names in my head to mention them all when I start a post - if I have a pen and paper I write them down - does anyone else do this 🙈?

I’m also a big knicker girl and mine are feeling droopy but could also be because they are ancient so might treat myself to an upgrade! I’ve just ordered pen for from pill sorted - they had a good offer which meant a 5mg pen was £110 with delivery. I’ve decided I might swap about a bit when I have time to get the discounts. Suppression is good so I’ll stay on 5 for now.

The thing I’m struggling with is not drinking. Usually in summer when it’s lovely weather I’ll have a drink 3-4 nights a week sitting in the garden. I was off work from Wednesday so drank the last 2 nights and I know it’s stalling my weight loss. I’m trying to stick to gin and light tonic and I’ve just ordered a big case of trip drinks which hopefully will fill the gap and help me stick to only drinking 1-2 nights a week which is my aim. Any tips let me know!

Seahawk80 · 20/06/2025 17:04

Oh and happy birthday @Crunchymum!

Scousebloke · 21/06/2025 05:18

End of week 9 for me so a date with the scales. Pleasantly suprised at a 4lb loss this week. That gives me an overall loss of 1 stone and 10lb.
N.S.V. - I started walking for exercise about a month ago. Yesterday afternoon i did a 5 mile walk (about 9000 steps) in a little over an hour in the searing heat (29C). A few weeks ago i would have probably struggled to do a mile in that heat.

BeachBodyAim · 21/06/2025 07:53

SW 17.7
CW 15.8
Total Loss 1 stone 13 pounds
WK9 loss 2lb

So not the 3lb I’d hoped for (we go on holiday today and 2 stone would have been a great milestone) BUT hell, if someone said I’d have lost 27lb 9 weeks ago I wouldn’t have believed them!!!!!!
Jab 10 today before we go and relax in sunny Spain for a week!!! 10 of going so it’ll be a few drinks 🥤 😜 and a happier, more confident me minus the almost 2 stone!!!!! Get in there!!! ☺️
Have a fab week everyone!!!!

Scousebloke · 21/06/2025 07:56

@BeachBodyAim Well done and enjoy your holiday

violetmondays · 21/06/2025 08:27

@Scousebloke great loss this week and 5 miles in this heat is very good going!!

Enjoy your holiday @BeachBodyAim

PumpKim · 21/06/2025 10:40

Well done @Scousebloke and @BeachBodyAim. Great losses.

Suppression has been a bit too strong for me this week 😬 I'm at the end of my first 5mg and am sticking there for next month too. Actually hoping it does become a little less effective as I've been forcing myself to eat which isn't very pleasant when you just don't want anything. I'm expecting a decent loss but feel a bit conflicted by it because it's at the cost of lack of nutrients!

Flowerchild547 · 21/06/2025 11:21

Wow some amazing losses!!! And just in time for summer, hope you all feel confident in your shrinking bodies!!

Those who have started 7.5, please keep us updated on how you get on!

ymemanresu · 21/06/2025 11:38

Hi everyone, just trying to catch up, loving the knickers story and well done to everyone. Im still vaping but from next week i’m going to make a massive effect to stop as my skin looks so much better when i don’t. Have a lovely holiday @BeachBodyAim

I’ve found something that’s helping my constipation and this is a problem i’ve had for years and not just on MJ . After just 4 days taking bio-kult tablets i can go all by myself. I feel like congratulating myself like you do a child when they do a poo on the potty 🤣

ymemanresu · 21/06/2025 11:39

Seahawk80 · 21/06/2025 12:07

Well done @ymemanresu! Congrats on the losses @BeachBodyAimans @Scousebloke!

was v impressed with pillsorted by the way - £110 for a 5mg pen - submitted the order yesterday and it arrived less than 24 hours later with a coupon for £20 off my next order so should work out around £135! You did have to submit a couple of videos but the whole thing took less than 15 mins.

Zebracat · 21/06/2025 13:35

Well done everyone, especially @Scousebloke . That is such a good 5 milestone. I weighed 95.1 this morning having been 95 all week grr, so 0.9 kilo loss. In 8 weeks I have lost 10.7 kilos. I’m quite pleased. I’m swimming daily and generally much more active so I feel I may actually be building muscle. I feel well.

Wow some amazing losses!!! And just in time for summer, hope you all feel confident in your shrinking bodies!!

Those who have started 7.5, please keep us updated on how you get on!

I took my first 7.5mg yesterday.

It's 32c here in London and I've spent my morning at the pool as all 3 kids have swimming lessons... at different times! Suffice to say I'm feeling a tad sick and headachy but I'm sure it's the heat / humidity. Already feel loads better now I'm under a fan and not sitting in a giant sauna!!

Anything of interest SE wise and I'll post.

I don't think there are many of us that have gone up to 7.5mg.

Crunchymum · 21/06/2025 14:08

Well done on some fantastic losses 🎊

I'm so impressed by everyone hitting the 1.5st+ (and even 2st!) point.
