Oh hang on I zoomed in and see that tiny e. I have no idea? Estimated?

Yeah this could be it? Cheers.

The independent pharmacy were taking new customers this morning, prices were pretty good and discount on first orders. Also someone mentioned Lotus on Reddit.

Lotus website is offline and Mounjaro is currently unavailable on The Independent Pharmacy website.

But appreciate the recommendations.

Looks like I really dropped the ball here. I must be the only muppet who hasn't gone to another supplier to stock pile an extra pen or two.

Sheldon4k · 18/08/2025 14:24

If it helps anyone...I have managed to secure an extra pen from Click2Pharmacy, had the email accepting and passed verification, to be delievered in a couple of days, however its only 5mg pen.
Having dropped back to 2.5mg after the 4 weeks off whilst on holiday, I am going to see how I get on at the 2.5mg (I only ever went up as high as 3.75mg) and if I have some degree of suppression and lack of food noise, I will stay on 2.5mg doses from the 5mg pens I have now, then finish when they are used up. If I need to increase back up then I will re-evaluate in a few weeks as to whether to order any more before i cant be classed as an existing user.

Does anyone know how soon you need to evidence your last order was with other companies? - as at that point I feel I would need to move to a company that allows maintenance plans.

Chunkysewist · 18/08/2025 14:32

Sorry @Crunchymum everything is moving so quickly at the moment xx

Crunchymum · 18/08/2025 14:33

Thanks @Sheldon4k

Click2pharmacy is out of stock for all pens.

It's becoming very frustrating now.

Sheldon4k · 18/08/2025 14:38

I have just looked at my repeat subscription on Online Clinic (part of health express) and my next pen is showing as £212 and that is with a 15% discount) - the price was previously £152.
Big increase for the 5mg pen, and that is one of the cheaper ones. I do feel its a bit naughty that I have had no communication to say that it will increase to that rate!

Sheldon4k · 18/08/2025 14:39

@Crunchymum ah sorry! Was worth a try. I must have got in just before they sold out (unless it doesnt actually appear).

Currently they tend to want it to be somewhere within 4-8 weeks range since last evidenced order date, however there is a lot of speculation that this is not going to be possible in the coming months as everyone has stockpiled and will have massive gaps so if they want customers to return after what is likely to be a very lean few months they will need to look at ways, perhaps accepting evidence of your August dates orders and explanation of how you dosed them… this also sits alongside the regulatory body trying to clamp down on lax prescribing practices. So your guess is as good as anyone’s - safe to say the next few months will be very different.

keep all your boxes - or save photos of every label.

@wlinewbie0425 that was my initial thought, I guess the next few months will be a bit of a new navigation period for many of us who were considering next steps and beyond. I am hoping what I have will last me as I continued to order whilst I was away and as I havent used the full dose for 5mg pens I have managed to get in front, and it was my intention to either maintain without MJ or possibly use some kind of plan of longer periods between injections if I felt coming off completely wouldnt be viable. I guess time will tell now how this unfolds.

I just got an email from Oushk saying back in stock for all strengths. Doesn’t say not for new customers so worth a try. I’ve never actually ordered with them but filled in the form once to compare prices and seem to be on their mailing list now.

Numan have just queried and then cancelled my order from last week saying I’d put British Asian as my ethnicity and they can’t correct it to White British (which I’ve never done before, and most IT systems surely have an override facility when there’s an email audit trail of me asking them to correct it). They have offered for me to reorder…but the price has now increased from last week ☹️, although it’s probably less than it will be after 1 Sep. It’s all a bit Wild West out there.

violetmondays · 18/08/2025 15:50

If anyone is with Swift doctor I’ve just noticed they’ve opened up booking again to current customers. All seem available except 12.5 and 15 pens.

I'll give them a whirl. Would prefer somewhere that doesn't require a video consultation but it might be an option.

I've also only got my current prescription which is dated 4th August so I'm not sure any new providers will even let me order yet anyway!! I am too early to reorder from my current provider as well.

I think I'm just going to take a step back. I'm sure I'll be able to reorder one more pen from current provider before 1st Sept deadline. Although they have stopped their price match offer so I'm looking at £195 before the price increase 😮

RubyJuno · 18/08/2025 16:19

Hello,

I ordered from Simple Online Pharmacy, Superdrug and Pharmacy2U on Friday. Superdrug have just approved and are dispatching “soon” but the others haven’t been approved yet.

Im going on holiday very early Friday morning - it didn’t occur to me that there’d be such delays (stupid I know) - hopefully the Superdrug one will get here in time and hopefully if the other two are delivered through the door my cat-sitter can put them in the fridge!

Although that comparison list linked earlier shows that they are now for existing customers so I guess I might not get approved anyway. Argh, what a mess!

wlinewbie0425 · 18/08/2025 17:20

@RubyJunoI also ordered with p2u (as a new customer before they said only
existing) very early morning Friday and was approved earlier today. I have heard of others being approved with them today too so they are working through the backlog. What I would say is they don’t email you when there is a query so make sure to log back in and check inbox on your account in case they’ve asked for any extra evidence or questions.

I think it’s likely your deliveries will be later in the week (mine says expected Thursday) so thank goodness you have a cat sitter for back up!

First thing Saturday is weigh time for me. Ive lost 3lb this week taking me to 2 and a half stone lost (35lb). Im obviously happy with that but im still trying to process the price increase etc.

Forgot to mention this loss put me under 30bmi so went frm obese to overweight

RubyJuno · 18/08/2025 17:26

Thanks @wlinewbie0425, I’ve checked and it’s at review stage. I ordered early afternoon Friday so hopefully they’ll get to me tomorrow and there’s a slender chance of Thursday arrival. I’m so annoyed with myself for not considering long delays cos it’s a fortune wasted if this goes wrong.

Scousebloke · 18/08/2025 17:33

Good luck to everyone trying hard to secure pens. Must be a stress waiting to hear they have been dispatched. What a shit show this last few days have been x

@Crunchymum i don't think the last date you ordered matters as much at the moment. I've used photos of recent boxes for my orders so I could get the higher doses. They tend to just give you a note to say to use it as prescribed etc.

Well done @Scousebloke that great!

I've ordered from Your Medicals as a new customer after seeing them mentioned on another thread. Still at review stage but fingers crossed. They also had a £50 discount still working it was either save50 or 50save worth a try 🤞

It won't let me progress as my BMI isn't over 30.

I'm honestly about to scream.

Oh no, I'm really sorry you're having such a nightmare 😔
This is one of my worries moving forward if I want to consider the switch to wegovy, as I'm currently at 30.5 and fully expect to be below 30 pretty soon, so it might not even be an option...
